We’ve got the fastest TTC 🚌in the UK & we aren’t afraid of a modification or 2 as we have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat where there is wine & snacks a plenty for those that need a bit of a breather from our race car but still hang on to our ride! 🌞

We thought we might make it to Valentine’s Day ♥️💓 but oh no we talk too much! If you want to talk most things other than TTC we are the right bus, tv, (married at first sight what the hell?!), pets, annoying DHs, good food & exactly how many orgasms should we be having?

We’ve got a rowdy bus of newbies, oldies with history, excited ladies going forwards for IVF & pregnant mates we can’t get rid of...& February is gonna be BIG!

So grab your crotchless panties and not much else for Valentine’s Day 💓and invite your men (or women folk) to dinner cos they are being treated like a REAL LADY. Forget January blues. February is where it’s at and we say UP YOURS TTC, we are cumming to get you 🙌🏻🥰

Am I allowed to join even though we have now been told we can't conceive naturally and are starting IVF in autumn? A ridiculous part of me is hoping to be one of these freaky miracles - 'and they were trying two years then told they couldn't conceive naturally, and lo and behold the very next month...'

Just to add, I'm meant to be writing a collection of essays on uncertainty and this seems so apt.

It's quite refreshing being in a group that not only does not advise against POAS, but actually advocates it 😂
Personally, I do it from around 8dpo. DH and I often have wine with our dinner, so I'd do it right before, just in case.

@Billythecat thanks for sharing so much about your endo journey. Sounds horrendous! Glad you're at the other side now. I have to double dose ibuprofen and paracetamol just to get through the first few days of mine. Last month was so bad! Had ran out of ibuprofen, and paracetamols do nothing on their own! Hot water bottle helped marginally but I basically wanted to die that day!!
Sorry you got BFN! Hope you get a better nights sleep tonight.
@theotherfossilsister this is what I hope for every 25 days! (Short cycles) and it's not happened yet, and likely won't if I have endo (tbc) and Dh has low and non moving sperm 😩 we're hoping to start in March/April if we go private. If we wait for nhs it'll be October earliest so having to do some weighing up as we really don't want to wait that long! I turn 35 in March, Dh turns 38 in two weeks! Been ttc 17 months.

Just to say, all you ladies are so lovely. I at least don’t feel alone any more! Going to get an early night and hopefully won’t be too emotional tomorrow. My DH was saying how nice I was earlier while making dinner (randomly, got to love him-soppy as I am) while I looked at him incredulously and I just kept ranting how I am so GRUMPY and EMOTIONAL and definitely NOT NICE right now ! At least then I was laughing 💜

@clolo that's how long the wait is, but I guess it gives us time to really focus on our mental and physical health and I tell myself, before I eat half a tub of ice-cream and obsessively read about ICSI stats. We're NHS so really looking by wait post Covid.

@theotherfossilsister errrrr yeah course! Long as we don't have to star in your essays?! So as the others have said the great thing (great ish? Maybe not great but hey) is that some of us have been riding a bus so long together that some are heading to ivf anyway, & I've always been ivf due to illness but find the ivf threads pretty dull once you've been there done that kinda thing so I hang around here like a bad smell & answer any queries thrown my way. And d'y know what if you read our last bus I put a post about on a group I'm on there was a post from someone who had saved up for ivf mean time tried for 5 years & has just cancelled her ivf due to getting pregnant naturally. No need to despise yourself, things can happen. In reserve (& for the rest of us, there's science!). Big hugs & ask away. I have a frozen transfer on Thursday.

@Tornado2Inc we welcome POAS addicts or those that don't want to, it's a kind of "tell us if you want us to tell you not to & we will try distract you" or encourage you. You like to test. Noted 😉btw, dinner as in lunch or dinner /tea??

@theotherfossilsister welcome ❤️ ivf is our next stop too, you're definitely not alone. This bus is a mixed bag of experiences, and probably one of the best buses I've had the pleasure to ride :)
