We’ve got the fastest TTC 🚌in the UK & we aren’t afraid of a modification or 2 as we have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat where there is wine & snacks a plenty for those that need a bit of a breather from our race car but still hang on to our ride! 🌞

We are heading into February ladies & let’s be honest most of us thought we’ve have cute little babies by now, but instead we’ve got lockdown bellies, fishy burps 🐠from bloody omega 3 supplements & the BIGGEST STASH OF TTC drugs in the planet on this bus including IVF, TTC, vitamins, headaches, anti sickness for pregnancy & some other ones we won’t talk about. We also LOVE a good snack, a pet, a dildo and clit sucker but badly behaved BOSSES are NOT welcome.

@Kirky658 maternity allowance is statutory which is about £600 a month and maternity pay you only qualify if you've worked somewhere for so long and it depends on your company as to Whag they offer you. I get 4.5 months full pay and then I can take another 4.5 months but that would be on maternity allowance

@lucyrp it's so confusing isn't it! In my current job I'd only be entitled to SMP anyway so I think it's just the first 6 weeks at 90% I would lose out on assuming I'd be eligible for allowance instead. The gov website is useless x

@bez91 yes it's this Thursday! I have a Covid test and progesterone levels test tomorrow so that's first hurdle 🤞🏻other than I'm now really worried, then a call on Thursday morning to let me know if the embryo has survived the thaw (about 80% do) then get given a time to go in. So you are still in with the BFN but no witch?? What??

@minster2012, I know, it's a difficult one because I'm keen on the job but I want them to know as I'd be telling people in a few weeks anyway. I guess it's a good test to see how they react? I wouldn't be entitled to SMP if I took the new job, but maternity allowance instead, which is the same per week minus the first 6 weeks. I'd just feel awful taking a new job and being like oh by the way I'm pregnant I'll be off for 9 months 😂

I'm just saying legally you don't have to until 12 weeks though is my concern, & you could say if they ever queried it that you've had a miscarriage before so would never tell anyone before that point. Just saying. And I'm an employer. Yes it's annoying but fuck all we can do 🤷‍♀️

Series recommendations at the moment- we recently watched "finding Alice" I think which was on itv catch up. We're next going to watch "the bay" as that's been recommended too.

@Kirky658 I found out I was 8 weeks pregnant in august and went on the look out for my first ever job at the start of September and started straight away then casually dropped it in there when I was 20 weeks pregnant 🤷🏼‍♀️ you don't legally have to tell them until 15 weeks before your due date so 25 weeks 🙈🤣

@Katao yes, I’m not going to give it too much thought, just one or two cycles but after that then it will be all 🍆🍆🍆 all the time on FW... DH will probably hope that I fall early on so that I’m not running him ragged 🤣🤣 we are a lot more tired now that we have DD and morning shags used to be my favourite.

@Billythecat I like the true crime series, have you seen “The Keepers” on Netflix? It’s insane! About a nun who was murdered and during investigations they uncover a WHOLE lot more. Another good one is Nightstalker.

@Kirky658 yes I think MA rather than whatever mat leave they would normally offer. They can’t discriminate on the basis of you being pregnant so expect they will still invite you for interview but what they do after that I don’t know. I think the higher rate/39 weeks will apply so long as you have been employed (not necessarily by your new employer) for at least 26 weeks in the last 66 weeks.

@Kirky658 congratulations on getting the interview. That's a tricky one. Like @Minster2012 says you could leave yourself open to being discriminated against but equally id be inclined to be open about it too as wouldn't want to start off on a bad foot if I got the job. Would you stay at your current job if the mat pay isnt great moving? If you definitely want the new job then probably best to play your cards close to your chest but if you will only change if the circumstances are right then might be better to get all info you can?

Girls I don't know what to do. I liked having a break from here as trying not to focus too much on ttc but that catch up was epic and I hate the thoughts of missing out 😂 I feel like we need cliff notes or something 😂 maybe a secretary to read back the minutes of the last meeting?

@katao @minster2012 @lucyrp @haiyaa I've decided to go ahead and be honest with them, I've told them via email today so will just see. Spoke to DH about it at lunch, and to my parents who worked in HR, and we decided it would be best to be honest. If nothing comes of it well do you know what I will get one of the two things I wanted so it is a bonus 😊

@Katao cliff notes would be fab! Sometimes taking a break from things like this can be a good idea if you are trying to keep your mind off something and I’m sure there will be a seat ready and waiting when you decide to come back if a break is on the cards!

To all POAS addicts, I have been trying to get used to the Femometer app to record my OPK’s and I find it so tricky to get the pic exactly right! Now on CD 7 and Femometer says LH is “high” at 25%, does that match up to what you gals have found? Pic attached so you can see my failed efforts 😂 I haven’t had a lot to drink today so wonder if that has something to do with it?

@Juno231 ooh good recommendations! I tried watching one of the later series of true detective with DH as he saw the earlier ones and said they were great. The newer one we thought was so boring though and had to give up on it!

@Minster2012 apparently the marvellous Mrs maizel is good so I might give that a try soon! The others sound good also- we just need something new to watch together! Really not sure what I want to do about testing. I don’t want the disappointment of AF/BFN either way, but I feel like I might be more upset just having AF arrive if that makes sense? It was horrible last month (doesn’t help that with endo the pain is off the scale!) and I think I would prefer to just know ahead of time to expect it if there is a BFN. So I will probably test (and cry regardless of the outcome) but not really sure when to test really. After you have your test tomorrow, do you have to have any further medication or just carry on with the progesterone things? Hope all goes well for you!

@lucyrp is finding Alice any good? I did start watching it but am halfway through the episode and thought it was good, but a bit slow maybe. Will definitely carry on with it if it’s recommended though! I am watching the Pembrokeshire murders and getting my fix of the Welsh accent haha

@Haiyaa ooh I have the keepers saved on Netflix but just haven’t got round to watching it! Does look really good so glad to have a recommendation. I’m watching the nightstalker atm and it’s great . I watch loads of true crime but DH is a bit more fussy than me about it, although will watch anything with me if I ask nicely

I have done hardly anything productive today haha apart from a bit of work! It’s mostly a sofa day. Feeling nauseous and generally ‘off’ so taking it easy. Work will be busy again tomorrow so making the most of today! I’m going back and forth on testing or not. I just am dreading either a BFN or AF tbh! It’s all making me a bit emotional currently- I’m all over the place!

@clolo boo about the scan being put bk but it's not too long to wait though. Yeah went well thanks. Have a AFC scan booked in and a consultation in March. Has to be after my nhs appointment as we need my AMH results for the consultation. Figured I'd get that done on the nhs and not spend money unnecessarily! I don't mind waiting as I know we can start treatment basically after that call. Gives me time to get in better shape too!

@Haiyaa yes 25% is high and looks in line with mine on femometer. Their opks aren't very sensitive (which I think is good, I'd find a permanent second line very confusing otherwise) so once you do get to that level it is deemed "high". Their percentage points are just random though. Like why does a peak need to go to 200%? What's wrong with the regular old 100%

@notyetamumbuttrying oh yes which private one did you go for? A lady at work recommended evewell to me but it looks v v pricey and then I keep getting tempted by Create as they seem to have good reviews and are super conveniently located for me. There's one a 10 min drive from me and another down the road from my office.

@clolo oh may I ask how high your AMH is? I've had home tests done 18 months apart on AMH and it went UP the second time so I doubt they're very accurate... Either way they weren't brilliant, 15 and 20ish so def on the lower end for my age.
