We’ve got the fastest TTC 🚌in the UK & we aren’t afraid of a modification or 2 as we have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat where there is wine & snacks a plenty for those that need a bit of a breather from our race car but still hang on to our ride! 🌞

We are heading into February ladies & let’s be honest most of us thought we’ve have cute little babies by now, but instead we’ve got lockdown bellies, fishy burps 🐠from bloody omega 3 supplements & the BIGGEST STASH OF TTC drugs in the planet on this bus including IVF, TTC, vitamins, headaches, anti sickness for pregnancy & some other ones we won’t talk about. We also LOVE a good snack, a pet, a dildo and clit sucker but badly behaved BOSSES are NOT welcome.

So grab your crotchless panties and not much else for Valentine’s Day 💓and invite your men (or women folk) to dinner cos they are being treated like a REAL LADY. Forget January blues. February is where it’s at and we say UP YOURS TTC, we are cumming to get you 🙌🏻🥰

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

Lush hair @Vil10. Lockdown and mat leave before that have been good for my hair as I've not been arsed to straighten my hair and these days even drying it is a rare thing - it's never been so long!

@Haiyaa did I understand you right - don't use FMU for OPK? When do you test? I didn't know this...might explain why the cheapo OPKs only ever got one faint line on one day last cycle!!

@Kirky658 I deffo also cooked with booze when preggers with DC1, all the alcohol cooks off. I like to understand the reasons behind the rules and found Emily Ostler's book very good for that.

Thinkingandblinking · 31/01/2021 18:56

@Gem176 I get gestational diabetes when I’m pregnant, not type one so sure there will be differences, but I was assigned a specialist nurse who would ring all the blooming time to record my sugars and food - growth scan every 2 weeks after 32 wks, so whilst intense good for piece of mind x

Kirky658 · 31/01/2021 18:56

Was meant to be cooking beef stroganoff for tea, couldn't be arsed after an hours nap, me, DH and doggo are knackered. Found fish fingers in the freezer and we are having fish finger butties. It's OK to have an unhealthy day right 😂 asking for a friend..

Ps @minster2012 those brownies look to die for, I've ordered Ingredients to make hazelnut ones next weekend will share once baked (if I can summon up the energy to make them haha)

paintfairy · 31/01/2021 19:03

@larrythelizard no, you never use fmu. And usually the peak actually comes in the afternoon. So you are best testing a few times a day when you think it's the right time. I only ever test in the afternoon these days....... I know the clear blue posh ones have their own rules and are different.

DKDK123 · 31/01/2021 19:06

@lb20xx if you're just starting out I'd test from when AF ends. After a few cycles once you start to see your pattern and know what your normal is then you can wait till closer to FW. @larrythelizard yip don't use FMU for OPKs, I'm sure the guideline is something like don't test beforeb10am can't remember the exact reason why something to do with the concentration. If its a non working day I usually test around 11am, if I'm working I just do it when I get home. As I come closer to ov day I start to test twice a day so I don't miss the peak.

Minster2012 · 31/01/2021 19:14

@Kirky658 I was hoping I could use the excuse that in food is fine right??? Mehhhh get pregnant first right, had soooo much luck with that so far FFS 😆

@Haiyaa two lil bad ass girls sounds perfect! Swish sway away! 🍆

Turns out drunk lamb was amazing! Brownies still waiting for DS to go to bed, he can't eat them, he's allergic to eggs & we aren't sharing. Let's get this clear @Kirky658 I didn't make them! Bought in! Delivered to my door with these...loads of pies! I usually make pies then lockdown happened with a toddler & I got lazier 🤣

@notyetamumbuttrying errrrr yeah, not much else other than either a weird bit of old blood, fuck boy, IB or meh??? Btw was it you that put that random picture a while ago of a house /place thing saying "where am I?" Who was that and where was it?

@Vil10 FUCKING SMOKING HOT LADY THERE 🔥🔥🔥🔥

@Justanothercyster @paintfairy another great reason to move to Hull!
the pies & brownies from The Pie Bakery, Hull, they supply pies to Hull city football club & the frozen brownies are better than any brownies we've ever had in ANY cafe or restaurant. And they deliver all around our area (we don't actually live in Hull!) the pies are awesome too. They just happened to send out a discount code after my Xmas order & we'd gone through the freezer through this lockdown 🤣😆rude not to stock up!! The lamb is a Jamie Oliver recipe

@Thinkingandblinking I can't see anything about banana!? I must have one of those missed posts! FOMO!!

@larrythelizard yes most ppl start around day 8 or so if a 28 day cycle and not FMU, from that day about 3 times maybe 11am /3pm /7pm then when you start to get a higher 4 times? around 10:/11am, 2pm, 4pm and 8pm i think from what ppl said to me but I never got a peak as I wasn't ovulating and try not to drink too much & wee too much which for me is basically impossible 🤣

@minster2012 regardless they look amazing, poor DS being allergic to eggs bless him! Pies look awesome too. I like good food.

Minster2012 · 31/01/2021 19:23

@paintfairy I love alllllll the trash tv, love island, MAFS, made in Chelsea, housewives of wherever, I was really pleased with myself last night when I found celebs go dating the mansion for when DH was playing poker 🤣🙌🏻😂my brain goes totally la la la la & turns off I love it!

@Kirky658 yep he's allergic to eggs, oats, fish, dust & I think there's something else, it all flares his eczema to the point where he scratches to bleeding. It's why I started buying the stupidly expensive organic cotton clothes for him, if his skin is covered in soft stuff he doesn't scratch. He's never had a Yorkshire pudding 🙀

lucyrp · 31/01/2021 19:38

@Minster2012 loveeee love island, really liked the cabins too😆

notyetamumbuttrying · 31/01/2021 19:44

@Vil10 your hair is so gorge! Banging figure too, girl crushing over you 😂
I've had a google now and it can just occur in the luteal phase so guessing my body's decided to do something new 😆
@Sausage1990 aww hope it's not long hun! You don't wanna run out of steam too soon 😂 aww yeah a miracle would be fab wouldn't it!
@Minster2012 omg that plate looks fantastic 🤤 hmm I don't think that was me, can't remember actually so very well may have been lol! Why's that popped into your head then?

Florence13 · 31/01/2021 19:48

@Vil10 you hair looks amazing!! Keeping fingers crossed for Tuesday

@notyetamumbuttrying not sure what else it would be so feeling some positivity that maybe there could be something more going on than any other month.

@Minster2012 those brownies 😋 think I’m going to have to bake some now we had sticky toffee pudding after Sunday roast.

Sorry I haven’t caught up with everyone yet. I’m just hanging around in the TWW I think at the moment so not much going on.

DJmum83 · 31/01/2021 19:56

Thank you everyone for today you have all got me through the worst day.
I have been sent 2 videos of him running freely in his 6 acres of land.
He looks so happy.
I will miss him so much but I know I have done the right thing for everyone.

Xxx

Justanothercyster · 31/01/2021 20:04

@DJmum83 so so difficult, I can't imagine. But he will be sooooo happy in his open land xx

Sausage1990 · 31/01/2021 20:06

@minster2012 that lamb looks lush!!! It's not something I cook very often but we did a lamb leg last weekend with meat from a local farmer & it was so flavoursome and delish. I make a curry with the left over meat too which lasted a few meals.

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah definitely don't want to run out of steam nor do I want it to become forced. Neither of us have the highest libido so its quite alot of us anyway. Thankfully DH is 110% on board with all baby making endeavours & doesn't seen to struggle under pressure for which I'm grateful so it completely OK with knowing where I am in my cycle and when we NEED to DTD rather than trying to make it spontaneous. Sorry didn't mean to ramble on about my sex life haha thankfully nothing is tmi here x

Minster2012 · 31/01/2021 20:13

@lucyrp yes the cabins!! Another one!!

@notyetamumbuttrying we had antiques roadshow on & a place came on that looked like it & I thought no one gave the answer! I think Cos it was crossing into a new bus! I'm gonna hope for IB just in case of miracle baby
@Justanothercyster was it you??

@DJmum83 totally best thing for all & he will be happy there xxxxx big hugs xxx

@Sausage1990 yes we don't have it much either, there's a small amount left for tomorrow, not much 🤪and you aren't rambling we are all about the sex life here?!

Gem176 · 31/01/2021 20:24

@Kirky658 I'm desperately hoping he is my consultant as I really disliked my last one.... pompous arse! I sort of get why they maybe aren't up to speed, it's not the most common illness and it's a really small team who don't deal with that many births per year as we're quite rural.

@lucyrp don't know about you but I definitely wasn't this much of a nervous wreck last time 😅

@Justanothercyster have you seen Ines these days 👀 she looks like a different person, shame she still has the same shitty personality 🙈😂 I can't unsee the dolmio thing now and find myself saying "mamma Mia" whenever Martha is on 🙊

@DJmum83 im so sorry you are having to give up your dog, my heart breaks for you, it's such a loss, they are like family. However you are doing the right thing by both him and your family.

@Minster2012 progesterone symptoms sound like the absolute pits to be honest but my god those brownies 🤤😍 poor little man, no brownies and never tried a Yorkshire pudding 😱😢

@notyetamumbuttrying she kept me sane last time and I just adored her so to have her again is going to be fab!

@Sausage1990 hiya!! I'm doing ok, arse is being kicked by hypos, nausea (although all I've done today is eat 👍🏻😁) and tiredness 🙈 twice a day hypos and no rhyme or reason to them. Had a telephone app with my dietician on Friday (appointment was made before bfp) I'm getting the libre 2, she's had a look at my graphs and can't see anything wrong with my calculations or ratios as the hypos just spring up randomly 🤷🏻‍♀️ all good fun!
Oh that's really good to know, I'll pop into pharmacy tomorrow for a pregnancy supplement 😊
How are you doing?

@DKDK123 my brothers terrier was the same with DD, visited when she was a week or so old and he just saw her as prey from the first time he heard her cry and went mental whenever she was around. He still has to be kennelled when we visit and dd is 7!

@Thinkingandblinking i go in to see two consultants, a specialist midwife, a specialist nurse and have blood/urine tests once a month up til 32 weeks then it ramps up to once a fortnight. With scans at 7-9, 12, 20, 28, 32, 34, 36 & 38 weeks! It is intense, towards the end it feels like I live in the hospital but very grateful for it as it really does give you peace of mind. Only difference is I dodge the calls for glucose readings as mine are all stored and sent electronically and no food diaries as I'm on insulin. Im guessing you are under care from early on too with them knowing you get gestational diabetes?

lucyrp · 31/01/2021 20:29

@Minster2012 so happy Charlotte and sarah are still together ! So cute

@Gem176 yeah definitely wasn't anywhere near this anxious. Don't think I even thought about anything. I didn't think about labour until after I'd given birth 🤣

LB20xx · 31/01/2021 20:31

@Haiyaa @DKDK123 thank you! I'll start from when AF ends in a few days then ☺️ I'll probably do it around dinner time, I'll just take them to work with me as I'm out from 7:30 - 5:30 through the week 🙈

Gem176 · 31/01/2021 20:32

My other half is being a total arse and I want to cave his head in! Wants full testing because there might be something wrong with our baby (told me it's "obviously" because of my illness) and that if there is something picked up he doesn't want to continue! I'm genuinely ready to murder him! I pick baby over him every time. I'm also not loving the insinuation that if there is something then it's my fault. Don't know if it's just hormones or what but I'm just fed up of him being a twat! 😡😢

DKDK123 · 31/01/2021 20:32

Thanks for sharing that @gem176, it makes me feel so much better as even after the vet saying it was in his nature there's still a part of me to this day that feels so guilty and always thinks was it something I did or didn't do that could have stopped him being like that.

@djmum83, hope the video of him being happy in his new home has helped you feel somewhat that you've made the right decision albeit the hard one to make.

Juno231 · 31/01/2021 20:34

@LB20xx the opks come with instructions on when to start using them based on the length of your cycle :)

@larrythelizard yeah LH surges occur early mornings for most women so doesn't show up in urine until later. FMU is ironically the most diluted wee for LH testing as it's accumulated all night - way before the surge would have started. I think SMU is meant to be most accurate!

@DJmum83 I think my afternoon opk should have been a peak but was too diluted. I did another one at 7pm which per femometer is peak 👌. Cycle buddies again!

Heading for 💓day with fishy burps & wombs as fluffy as a 70’s bush we say UP YOURS TTC Bus 30
DKDK123 · 31/01/2021 20:35

@gem176, sorry just saw your other post after I posted. No its not just your hormones he is definitely being an intensive twat. However there's a chance what he's saying is just coming from a place of fear that he wouldn't know how to cope (not that it's right) and it was said rashly and without thinking. Sleep on it and talk to him again in the morning when you're both feeling a bit calmer.

Florence13 · 31/01/2021 20:40

@Gem176 sorry to hear your OH is being a dick he does not sound like he is being empathetic or helpful at all! Although hormones play a part it sounds like you have a reason to feel that way hun.

@Juno231 yay for peak!! You can join me in the TWW. Have you managed to BD and feel like you have covered your bases?

LB20xx · 31/01/2021 20:45

Thank you @Juno231 they'll be here, I'll be sure to read them ready to start ☺️

@Gem176 omggg no defo not just your hormones! How insensitive 🤯😓

LB20xx · 31/01/2021 20:46

They'll be here tomorrow **
