@MrsF111 sending love, like @RichmondLady1981 says it could be nothing but Ii would totally feel the same way especially as we've all been through at least 1 MC before. It certainly heightens anxiety. Keep us posted, we're all here 💕

MrsF111 · 25/01/2021 17:29

Hi both, thank you, I’m trying to remind myself that when I had the last miscarriage there was SO much blood, this is just when I wipe, I’m just worried that I’ll wake up tomorrow and have a lot more. I’m going to call the EPU in the morning and see what they say. Trying to stay positive this evening after a day of crying. Can only hope and pray

PumpkinEverything · 25/01/2021 17:40

Anyone able to share on whether their skin broke out about their MC, and when it went back to normal if so? Mine is driving me crazy. It hasn’t been this way since before I was on the pill and I don’t know what to do with it. I’ve not changed anything in my skincare routine but it feels like one or two new spots are appearing every day 😩 it’s actually starting to make me feel really crappy today, and also I’m only 7 DPO but I already feel like AF will be coming by this time next week, if not before. I can just feel my mood dropping where I’m going to get a bit emotional and unreasonable 🤦‍♀️

@PumpkinEverything my skin has been really bad for weeks now. It seems to start to clear and then I wake up with more new spots. It must be to do with our crazy hormones!
I hope you are okay. Hopefully AF doesn't show for you. We all get emotional at times, its normal if you do feel like that. Having a MC, waiting for your body to catch up, hormones to settle, thinking about TTC again, all the tracking! Its alot. Just take lots of rest and try not to worry

PumpkinEverything · 25/01/2021 17:56

@NatJ24 that’s what happens to mine too 😔 I keep thinking this is the end and then nope! It also seems to be travelling up and across my face, as it’s now starting to appear higher up my cheeks and on both sides.
Hopefully be okay soon! Going to have a nice bath and then make a hot chocolate after dinner and just try to chill. I’m off this Friday so trying to focus on that 🙈

@PumpkinEverything can't offer too much advice - I have suffered with adult acne since the day I turned 18. It's definitely hormonal. Numerous rounds of treatment with GP. Next step dermatology referral but the treatment they use isn't suitable for ladies TTC, pregnant or breastfeeding so that's a long way off 😂 anyway I went on a bit of a rant there but it does get worse around time of AF and got worse last time before BFP. The private dermatology lady who I buy skincare products from did say she'd seen more acne problems since the pandemic ie people wearing masks etc.

Hot chocolate and chill sounds perfect 👌🏼 hope you enjoy! Xx

@TheDaydreamBelievers @PandemicBabyPlz
Lovely to see familiar names - although I really wish it was in better circumstances for us all. Got my fingers crossed for you @PandemicBabyPlz - defo looks positive to me!

HappyVibes · 25/01/2021 19:56

@MrsF111 how far are you lovely? I had a similar experience last week. I rang the GP and asked for HCG bloods - they came back soaring & that seriously put my mind at ease so much. I’ve also booked a private scan for the weekend for as soon as the heartbeat should be visible - again for extra reassurance. Thought I would share as I know the heartache and confusion, and thought I’d share my two ways of coping mechanisms xxxx

PrettyPinkPansies · 25/01/2021 20:16

@MrsF111 I bled through all of my first pregnancy, and he is now 4 months Old and asleep in my arms ❤️

Glenneagle · 25/01/2021 20:54

Hi everyone- hope you don’t mind me tagging along. I had a MC at the end of October at 11 weeks and we kept it mostly to ourselves. It has been so lonely so even writing this feels like a relief.

I thought I was feeling better and moving on but AF is now 15 days late (and what feels like 3526 BFNs later) I’m a bit worried my body won’t ever get back on track.

I’m hoping to absorb some of the positive vibes in this group, I feel better already xxxx

MrsF111 · 25/01/2021 21:03

Hi @HappyVibes I’m 5 weeks if I go from ovulation, 6 from LMP, that’s really reassuring, I’m going to call the EPU tomorrow but perhaps I should call the gp too

@PrettyPinkPansies thank you for sharing, all the positive outcomes make me feel better.

It’s just so draining, some times I go to the toilet and there is barely anything and I start feeling better and that it’s nothing to worry about then o go again a few hours later and there is more blood. Just emotionally exhausting

mrswilso · 25/01/2021 21:06

@Glenneagle sending you such a big hug! ❤️
The waiting and uncertainty was one of the biggest struggles for me too so I really hope AF shows soon for you.
I'm still waiting for an actual BFN, I tested this time last week and got a proper squinter but still enough for me to fling it at the bin in frustration 🤣 AF turned up on the Wednesday. Planning to test again in the next couple days but I'm pretty certain it'll finally be clear this time.

NatJ24 · 25/01/2021 21:15

@Glenneagle sorry you find yourself here. Its good to talk, even if it is just typing on here.

@mrswilso that sounds exactly like me. Just went back on here and read you had medical management on 16th/18th, I had mine on 19th December. Was still getting very very faint positives last week, AF came on Friday!

mrswilso · 25/01/2021 21:33

@NatJ24 thanks - that's actually really reassuring to hear.
It's so horrible to see so many of us in similar situations, really really hope everyone has lots of luck really soon ✨

elsimo · 25/01/2021 21:51

@Glenneagle I had a mc at the end of November and was a complete psycho in my last TWW. Currently calm and quiet as approaching ovulation but just wait....i'll be back on the go testing and symptom spotting like a crazy lady.

My point is waiting for thess god dam AF's when they chop and change is torture but we all get that here Smile

Pancakes7 · 25/01/2021 22:08

@MrsF111 I really hope all is ok. It must be so scary. But it could all be ok, so try to keep calm till you know more. Definitely phone EPU. Fingers crossed for you x

Pancakes7 · 25/01/2021 22:10

@Glenneagle My first mmc before my son. It took 9 weeks after my surgical management to get my AF. I then got pregnant within 3 months. So don't worry. Your body will get there.

ELMcg · 26/01/2021 07:16

@Glenneagle so sorry you find yourself here but hope you take some comfort from these pages. It is such a relief to hear from others and know you are not alone!

@NatJ24 so late afternoon and overnight AF has tailed off completely to basically nothing, I thought after AF arrived I would feel normal but that was the weirdest one I've had in my life 😂 still feel a bit rubbish this morning with headaches etc so might not be the end of it this month. I feel like it's going to be one of those ones that stops and starts again.

Got the OPK arriving tomorrow, based off my usual AF I would start using at CD10 however with all the weirdness going on wondering if I should start around CD8? What do you all think?

bez91 · 26/01/2021 08:17

@ELMcg I would start earlier 😊 I use clearblue Digital OPKs and this month I thought it's anyone's guess so I started at CD6 and had high readings by CD8 and ovulated on CD10 which is early for me so it can't do any harm!

NatJ24 · 26/01/2021 08:43

@mrswilso I know its horrible that we are all here in this situation but it is helpful if you can read similar experiences. I was still getting very faint postives just over 4 weeks after the medical management and was worrying that would stop AF arriving until the line was completely gone. Reading online you get mixed stories and information so its hard to know what to expect. So I suppose it can help others too if they are in similar situations to read others experiences. I think every person is just so different and thats why you cant get a complete clear answer.

@ELMcg yes I agree with @bez91 I would start earlier. Thats what I am going to do too. Because our cycles could be a bit off or different I dont want to miss it. It cant do any harm, it might just mean doing them for longer.
My AF has basically tailed off to not much now too!!!! 😄

ELMcg · 26/01/2021 09:16

Thanks @bez91and @NatJ24 that makes total sense! I just though given AF was only 3 and a half days rather than the usual 5 my cycle might be short this month. OPKs arriving tomorrow so will probably just start on Thursday which will be CD6 for me, hopefully that's early enough to pick up my peak and surge!

Looks like we will be identical for this cycle timings wise! Quite interesting given so many people have such a difference experience that ours has been so similar!

MrsF111 · 26/01/2021 09:25

Update this morning, a little spotting in pad overnight (woke up at 4:30!) and a reasonable amount on wiping. Sorry way TMI. Then at 9am barely anything on wiping and no spotting. Pregnancy test showing positive this morning. Left a message with the EPU. (Which they only listen to between 8:30am and 10:30am and last time didn’t call back saying oh you probs LG didn’t leave the right number grrrrr!) so hopefully will here from them later Hmm. Does anyone know if a pregnancy test stays positive with a natural miscarriage? I know it does with a MMC even after medical management but I thought that was more because you body doesn’t realise (that’s what happened to me last time) maybe clutching at straws but hoping the positive test this morning is a good sign

PrettyPinkPansies · 26/01/2021 10:04

@MrsF111 I would imagine I test can stay positive regardless the type of miscarriage. However I wouldn't go down that route in your head yet! Wait to see EPU ❤️

PrettyPinkPansies · 26/01/2021 10:07

I've got some cramps this morning, I had a peak yesterday on a CB digital ovulation and I'm not at peak yet on my cheapies, are cramps normal for around ovulation? I'm worried it's AF cramps. I've never tracked ovulation before so never paid any attention to symptoms

bumptobean · 26/01/2021 10:24

So 4 days after my miscarriage and my test is completely negative! Just need this bleeding to stop and I can jump back on the horse so to speak Wink
