@RichmondLady1981 Morning! I’m doing ok - my excitment has worn off already though :( I’m just back to not really believing it’s going to stick. Sometimes you can know too much after a mc can’t you - because the first one was missed but I still got symptoms for 3 weeks, and the other was anembryonic I just feel a bit like I’m in limbo until I can get to a point I can have an early scan! How are you doing? Fingers crossed for this fertile week for you :) xx

ELMcg · 25/01/2021 08:52

Morning all! Positive vibes for the week ahead!

@NatJ24 thought it was worth keeping you updated on how AF is going, since we are at a similar stage! I think we are having identical experiences! 😂
AF got considerably heavier yesterday and I think I'm in for a heavy day today. Its much more painful and uncomfortable than normal and alot more symptoms than I am used to! Currently, sore/fuzzy head, cramps and feeling sick alot of the time and a very poor sleep last night! Also had to miss a workout yesterday which is unusual for me and normally during AF a light workout really helps and I look forward to it!

They are right when they tell you the first one after MC is weird! Hoping it just lasts my usual 5 days and then tails off. I was telling my husband I hope I conceive this month so I don't have to have another AF. I think he's a bit shocked at how miserable it's made me too as normally he barely knows I'm on my period.

Hi all. Wondering if I can join in?
I had a miscarriage back in October. I’m currently 10dpo in our second cycle trying since then. I got these results (1st cb is 9dpo in the afternoon, 2nd is FMU today at 10dpo, and easy@home HCG test is again the FMU today). Are these faint positives or evaps or? Last time I used FRER but local shops didn’t have any this time and I’ve been trying to promise DH not to test too early this time... so worried if an Amazon delivery of FRER arrive he’ll be suspicious 😂 😂 Thoughts?

@PandemicBabyPlz they look positive to me 😊 I would order the FRER and just tell him it’s something else 😂

@ELMcg that sounds terrible 😳 you’re making me pray for a positive even more now because I do not want to be dealing with that at all!

@bumptobean my dates are literally bang on yours and we are starting trying straight away without waiting for another period first, agree with you that from what I understand from the doctors the only reason not to is for dating reasons or if you don't feel ready etc xxxx

bumptobean · 25/01/2021 09:35

@bez91 Morning, I’ve contacted the EPU this morning who were less than sympathetic. Didn’t really care at all. Would of thought I need to be checked that all is removed as from what I read it can be quite dangerous, ectopic etc? They didn’t even ask if I was in pain and when trying to describe what’s going on they just verbally cut me off.

@brushlaptop Ahhh that’s so exciting! Never thought I’d say this but I can’t wait to stop bleeding to just try. Maybe it will make it all feel more normal? Do you feel you need to mentally prepare yourself for a positive or a negative? Not quite sure how will I react to both.. think I have a problem with setting me hopes so high! And then there’s an issue with the fear of it happening again. Honestly, I think women are the strongest creatures after experiencing this and reading lots of stories. Xx

Loll35 · 25/01/2021 09:48

@bumptobean thats awful they treated you like that. My hospital is in Surrey and they were so kind and sensitive even though they deal with this all the time. I hope you feel better soon and this month is a good one for you! The first cycle after my mc it was really obvious when I was about to ovulate due to cm and they say you are more fertile after a mc so fingers crossed you get a bfp. I wasn't ready to try so soon but am feeling ready again now.

Loll35 · 25/01/2021 09:51

@PandemicBabyPlz looks positive to me! Congratulations 😊

PandemicBabyPlz · 25/01/2021 10:13

@Loll35 @PumpkinEverything thank you both!

I remember jumping for joy at the slightest of lines with the pregnancy I miscarried, it was the first time I’d seen a second line. This time the lines are oddly clearer but my mind is just not taking anything for granted.

It’s going to be a long wait.

I’m going to go and catch up on your thread now so I know where everyone’s at! Sending everyone positive vibes for this week.

PrettyPinkPansies · 25/01/2021 10:15

Congratulations ladies who have your BFPS!! Xx

bumptobean · 25/01/2021 10:20

Thank you @Loll35. I now understand how important ‘be kind’ can be because sometimes you just don’t know when someone really needs it. Luckily the midwife team I had to contact to cancel the scan where so lovely and said sorry, thoughts with me etc.

That’s really good to know, I’ve been reading and lots of people say roughly 2 weeks after the bleeding stops you ovulate.. going to try every other day to cover everything and then go back to normal if my cycle comes!

Lovely that you feel ready now to try. I feel like it starts a new chapter past it, embarking on a new journey and having new hopes. Really will keep my fingers crossed for you x

Loll35 · 25/01/2021 10:47

@PandemicBabyPlz I know what you mean about not taking it for granted. I naively felt like mc wouldn't happen to me when I got my first bfp but it happened. The odds are with you though so its important to stay positive!

@bumptobean I'm sorry you even had to cancel your scan yourself, the EPU nurses took care of that for me. Although a letter had already been sent out with date etc which was a bit heartbreaking when I received it but hey ho. Onwards and upwards!

That sounds about right re ovulation because my af started exactly 4 weeks after bleeding had stopped. Its amazing how quickly your body resets itself!

Iv been waking up needing to pee some nights (sorry tmi) in the last week and thats not happened since I was pregnant so does make me wonder, still a few days until af is due tho so still too early to test

bumptobean · 25/01/2021 11:18

@Loll35 ahhhh you’re going to have to let us know! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

ELMcg · 25/01/2021 11:24

@bumptobean so sorry you had to go through all that! I was lucky at the time the EPU cancelled everything and my husband deleted my maternity notes and all my other apps off my phone! I did have my community midwife phone me and tell me at least I know I can get pregnant and should feel lucky for that, which at that moment in time wasn't the most helpful comment!

Just take some time and be kind to yourself, my AF arrived on Friday and despite my guesswork of when I ovulated etc I was way off so don't put any pressure on yourself to conceive again before AF arrives. I realise now that only the perspective the past few weeks has given me helped, I took the pressure off and me and my husband just DTD when we felt like it!

There was a small chance I could have gotten pregnant but I feel much more positive and motivated this month now I know where my body is at!

Sending you hugs and positive vibes, fingers crossed everything settles down for you soon!

mrswilso · 25/01/2021 12:44

Hi ladies - can I join?

I'm 30. First pregnancy - first loss. BFP 22 September; started bleeding at 6 weeks; confirmed anembryonic pregnancy at 8 weeks; waited it out until 16 weeks then chose medical management on 16 December - second dose 18 December.

Finally on CD6 and ready to go again ✨

Just about to read up on all your intros - I've missed the TTC community!

RS2609 · 25/01/2021 13:08

Just marking my spot x

NatJ24 · 25/01/2021 13:23

@ELMcg aw that sounds really bad ☹ I hope it doesn't last too long for you like that. Mine was very very heavy when it started. The 2nd day was more like a heavy period. I've had headaches with it too. Today its starting to get alot lighter. We do seem to be very similar, even when I read your intro recap again, we were both got to about 8ish weeks and then my medical management was around the same time as your surgical management.
I'm looking forward to starting to track more this month hopefully.

I hope everyone is OK xx

PandemicBabyPlz · 25/01/2021 13:24

Hey @mrswilso I remember you from back in September on the pregnancy forum, we were part of the same thread for a while! I also had a miscarriage but mine was complete at 8 weeks on the 24th October, confirmed at EPU :(

I’ve posted above that today I just got my first faint positives. Second cycle trying again and can’t quite believe it. I was in such an awful place over Christmas as we’d just started again and I remembered how draining this whole process can be. So these faint positives feel unbelievable.

I wish you lots of success and glad to see you!

HappyVibes · 25/01/2021 13:48

@PandemicBabyPlz they are definitely positive to me. Hopefully you’ll see some lovely progressive lines with your FRER. Good luck lovely xx

NatJ24 · 25/01/2021 14:00

@PandemicBabyPlz definitely postive lines 🌟 lovely news! Thats what we want to see! Good luck xx

ELMcg · 25/01/2021 14:17

@PandemicBabyPlz definitely positive in my opinion! I would say if you test in a few days you will have a pretty dark line! I tested quite early last time and then a few days later to by sure and there was quite a difference! Sending you all the luck, lovely to see nice news on this feed!

@NatJ24 hope I haven't put the fear in to people! Mine is probably equivalent to a heavy period for some people, for me it's alot! It's a bit better this afternoon so going to try a workout tonight. I know some people probably think I'm off my head by exercise really helps with cramping for me!

Will be quiet nice to be at a similar stage, hopefully February is a good month for us!

RS2609 · 25/01/2021 14:28

@Bellabubble I know exactly what you mean. My MC was at 6+1 last time which will be around Thursday/Friday/Saturday this week (not exactly sure on dates). I’m just hoping we can get over that hurdle first. I won’t even let myself book an early scan until I’m past that. How far along are you now and when is your early scan booked? x

TheDaydreamBelievers · 25/01/2021 14:32

@mrswilso we have met before with @PandemicBabyPlz on previous expecting and TTC threads. Sorry we are in this position but excited for you @pandemic having got a new BFP!

I'm currently CD4 of a new cycle. First one post MMC surgery

MrsF111 · 25/01/2021 16:21

Hi ladies, joining from the old thread, very emotional day, had some bleeding earlier when I went to the loo with a bit of clots, been again and this time the bleeding was very light. So I’m hoping that’s a good sign it’s not going to turn into a miscarriage but I’m not sure, when AF arrives I normally get a day of spotting then full AF the next day so will see how I get on tomorrow. I’ve spent the day in bed, a lot of tears, a lot of feeling very sorry for myself and worrying I’m going to have a second miscarriage. I just feel so sorry for all of us on here, it’s such an awful experience we have all been through. Lots of love to everyone

RichmondLady1981 · 25/01/2021 16:46

@MrsF111. When I fell pregnant first time with my son (now 20 months who is now running around the lounge!) I bled at 5.5 weeks - enough to fill 2 tampons. Blood was red. I also passed a few stringy clots (sorry TMI). I went for a private scan, in my mind, to check that everything had left my uterus and MC had ended, and was shocked to hear that there was still a sack and pregnancy. I’ve shared this experience a few times on this thread. What I’m trying to say it that everything could well be fine. It always looks so much when we have a bleed, much more than it really is... but there’s a chance that all could be fine. It’s a really good sign that the bleeding has slowed. Have you been in touch with your doctors or anyone? How are you now?
