Thanks for tagging me @PumpkinEverything.
Sorry I haven’t updated in a little while. I’m still bleeding and waiting for my scan on Wednesday to know if it’s just the ectropion that is bleeding or if it’s another MC. Keep your fingers crossed for me girls I’m not feeling over positive 😞

brushlaptop · 24/01/2021 13:48

@PrettyPinkPansies slight change in CM but no other signs yet, so just looking out for the LH surge on opk and the egg white CM (sorry TMI!) xxxx

brushlaptop · 24/01/2021 13:49

Fingers crossed for everyone ❤️❤️❤️❤️

PrettyPinkPansies · 24/01/2021 14:07

@brushlaptop still waiting for my surge. Feel like it's not going to come 😞

Pancakes7 · 24/01/2021 14:21

Thank you for the tag.

Checking in.

I'm 33, currently on furlough still. Looking after my son.
I've been pregnant 3 times. 2 x mmc's and 1 gorgeous son who is 20 months old. 1 mmc before him and 1 afterwards. Most recent mmc July 2020. Both times I had surgical management. I'm TTC for the last 5 months. 2 months using Clear blue fertility monitor. I just started my 3rd month with the monitor.

Really hoping we all get our BFP's soon. 🤞🏻

Loll35 · 24/01/2021 15:16

Hi ladies just checking in on new thread. My first pregnancy ended naturally on 30th Nov at 9 weeks, pregnancy only measured at 6 weeks. Been feeling quite anxious since it all happened, lock down/covid has not helped that. But finally feeling more positive and ready again. In TWW currently but I didn't track ovulation this month. Wishing you all lots of luck and BFPs ❤

bumptobean · 24/01/2021 15:24

Not strictly TTC but not in any other miscarriage threads.. I had my first miscarriage yesterday. Do I have to contact the EPU to let them know? Not really sure what the process is. How do I know everything is.. out. I had a scan on Friday where they said they couldn’t be sure what was happening, whether the baby had stopped growing or whether it was too early to see and my dates were wrong, so they told me to wait and they’ll contact me in a few days however in the meantime I have very obviously miscarried. Thanks everyone. And I look forward to jumping in more actively in a few weeks when I’m going to hopefully TTC without a first cycle 🤞🏻

Loll35 · 24/01/2021 15:36

Hi @bumptobean I would give them a call tomorrow. I miscarried on the Monday and had a follow up scan on the Saturday to make sure everything was gone etc. So sorry for your loss x

M4v3r1ck · 24/01/2021 16:40

Hey ladies, thanks for the new thread! 😃

Recap/intro on me:
I'm 36 from Scotland and TTC#1.
Found out I had an MMC week before Christmas when I should have been around 10+ weeks (baby stopped around 5 weeks).
MC started naturally on Christmas Day, and hoping the last passed about 1-2 weeks ago.
Just finished antibiotics due to probably infection and waiting for AF to appear!

I know some others have been in a similar situation in case it helps... Had weird light almost pre-AF spotting for the past week or so, and cheap OPKs are all over the place! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Had a bit of a wobble last night as saw two new baby announcements on FB! Hate the ugly and negative feelings that come up! 😔 Feeling better after a destressing walk and afternoon bath today! Sending much love to you all! 😘😘😘

NatJ24 · 24/01/2021 16:45

@ELMcg it was my first time using OPK's when I used the CB one last time and I was like you, just wanted something simple and straightforward. I would say to go with that one 🙂 I'm going to start with it myself this month to start tracking it. Good luck with it, let us know how it goes when you start tracking 😃

NatJ24 · 24/01/2021 16:48

@PrettyPinkPansies yeah, your cheapie sticks sound like the same as the easy at home ones and then just putting them on the premom app 😃 it is very frustrating waiting but just give it time following your MC it might be a little longer but it will happen, if you can just keep testing you'll hopefully find your peak soon 🤗🙏

PrettyPinkPansies · 24/01/2021 16:51

@NatJ24 I'm going to keep going and hopefully get my peak. I did a test this afternoon on a cheapie which has been the darkest I've seen (but still negative and faint!) hopefully things are heading in right direction 🤞🏼

NatJ24 · 24/01/2021 16:56

My recap/intro:
TTC baby number 1.
Had a MMC, baby stopped growing at 8ish weeks, had medical management in December.
Finally got AF this weekend, 5 weeks after MC so will start TTC from this month.

Hoping this month and next is lucky for us all 🙏

vitaminb33 · 24/01/2021 17:16

Hi all! Thanks @PumpkinEverything for making a new thread.

I'll jump back in with a recap, I'm late twenties, TTC second baby (I have a one year old). I have endometriosis (just in case that's a factor for anyone else) and had a MMC in November. Found out at 11 weeks, the pregnancy had stopped at maybe 9 weeks. Had surgical management (MVA).

I dropped out for the last few weeks but I've seen so much good news in the last month while lurking - it's been heartening. Sorry for your losses to the new posters, it's really tough. I've found it does get better with time. I find following this thread helpful too.

I've just started AF, we didn't really TTC this cycle as honestly I started having some anxiety about getting pregnant again. I feel better about trying for this cycle though.

elsimo · 24/01/2021 17:42

Hey guys :)

I'm here 2.

I'm 36 and ttc no 2.
Had a mc in 2016, DD in 2017 and then after trying for 18 months I miscarried twins in November 2020. Both stopped growing at 6 weeks, had surgical management at 11 weeks.
Me and OH have had all the fertility tests which show no issues.
Possibly contemplating IVF at the end of the year if we can't get pregs again xx

bumptobean · 24/01/2021 22:12

Has anyone started TTC straight away without a cycle first? From what I have researched it’s only not recommended due to dating issues.. so I’m going to give it a go! Hoping my bleeding slows down shortly and I can jump back on the horse so to speak...! Ha!

Sallyjo27 · 24/01/2021 22:36

@bumptobean we have this time- I think I’m 1dpo now. I’m guessing as I know when I’ve ovulated (or sort of know) dating the pregnancy (if I am lucky) won’t be that much of an issue. My consultant told me we could start ttc again as soon as we were ready x

TheDaydreamBelievers · 24/01/2021 22:53

@bumptobean we did. Waited for tests to go negative, happened to ovulate just after that. Didnt work though- AF came so now on CD3 of first cycle post MMC. Make sure your pregnancy tests are negative before you TTC again.

Regarding your prev Q, I'd call the EPU and tell them.

bumptobean · 24/01/2021 22:58

@Sallyjo27 oo wishing you luck! I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I’m thinking as I have soooo many tests ordered, as I need to keep testing for a negative first, I’ll just keep testing for a (hopefully) positive and roughly date myself - ha! Have read lots of positive stories so really hoping.

@TheDaydreamBelievers thank you, sorry to hear but sending you luck for your next cycle. I took a test today actually and it’s only a faint positive. I was very surprised and expected it to be darker considering it all happened only yesterday. I will keep testing and hoping by the time I finish bleeding it will be negative. I’ve decided I definitely will call the EPU tomorrow and ask if I can be checked to confirm all is over. I also want to ask what type of miscarriage I’ve had - is that silly? It’s just I keep reading and I don’t even know what miscarriage I have actually had - makes me feel a little in limbo and I feel just knowing could help give me some peace.

TheDaydreamBelievers · 24/01/2021 23:03

@bumptobean if you remind us of the circumstances, we can probably estimate if that would be helpful? Just to say no one will be able to tell you the cause- there are lots of things that can cause MC but often it just wasnt meant to be - the sperm and egg combo weren't the best or didnt start growing as they should have done. Bodies making a baby is v complex and if one bit of that is off then it wont work out. And a bit can be off even if the woman and her partner are 1000% healthy and well. Just one of those things.

susiebluebell · 24/01/2021 23:13

Just marking my place x

bumptobean · 24/01/2021 23:17

@TheDaydreamBelievers So.. my last missed period was 12th Dec, however it’s possible I ovulated later than normal on that cycle and so I worked my dates around conception date which I believed to be 1st Jan. So from period date I was 6 weeks exactly, from conception/ovulation date, 5 weeks. I had a BFP 9dpo, strong and I was surprised how quick. I tested again a few days after my period was due last week (around 14th Jan) which was stronger, and took another test Thursday, the day before the bleeding and a week after my period was due and clearblue dated me 2-3 weeks.

On Thursday, I had slight brown discharge which turned to pink spotting and discharge and cramps. Friday I managed to get to the EPU who internally scanned me, said it’s possible it’s still too early and measured the sac at 5+1 which did fit into the dates. But nothing was inside. They said it could be just too early or the pregnancy hasn’t continued so they will contact me Monday (tomorrow) with a date to come back to see if anything has grown. I was slightly hopeful.

Saturday my bleeding turned red and heavy. By 6pm that evening I was passing clots and then passed.. the pregnancy. Since then I’m still bleeding but not a single clot since and the pregnancy test I have taken today is already very faint.

I keep thinking it fits a blighted ovum however unsure if that would make me pass anything? I thought chemical but i got a clearblue 2-3 a week after my period was due and a day before the bleeding started.

I’m hoping they will see me at the EPU to confirm everything has passed and perhaps tell me what miscarriage they think I had. Keep seeing stories where poor ladies get told to just wait and see if a test comes back negative after 3 weeks and if not call back though, sounds unfair.

bumptobean · 24/01/2021 23:18

Oops, I mean my last period - not last ‘missed’ period! It was the first day of my last period.

RichmondLady1981 · 25/01/2021 06:38

@susiebluebell how are you doing? X

bez91 · 25/01/2021 06:53

Hi @bumptobean at that stage I doubt the EPU will diagnose the type of miscarriage. My first miscarriage I miscarried at 6 weeks and EPU didn't scan me just told me to call back if I had any real pain so it's good they'll see you but if bleeding has changed since your scan I'd be prepared for them to say to see how things go.
