TTC bus 29...
Oh my goodness to say we are a chatty group is an understatement most times but that’s great cos it’s not all about TTC here, anything goes, we now have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat so a few ppl can pop up on top heads up and out into wind to gulp in the non TTC air but still hold on to us & know where we are...like our pups that come with us with ears flapping in the wind our beloved ladies may have one flap flying in the wind...”watch out for the left outer flap”...someone once shouted to their OH...that might set the tone here nicely.

Get it?! No?! Sometimes nor do we...🙄the chat, the deed, the sperm, the egg, the fact that we aren’t pregnant yet after shagging twelfty millions times a month forever. But we are here for each other, to chat shit, to help each other out the pits or wallow within the pits, for all the highs and lows.

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

@Katao @bez91 @TTCAbroad thank you for the well wishes. Fingers crossed x

@Justanothercyster yes very lucky here. Everyone under 43 gets 4 rounds regardless of previous children. I have two DDs 15&13 from my first marriage. The best thing is if you have a live birth during your 4 rounds the clock resets back to 4 if you want to try again!! It’s practically fully funded, each cycle costs me around €300 as we are at a private clinic that requires a top up on social security limits. We would never be able to afford it in the uk.

@Minster2012 awww I’m so please for you with your son. I’m so positive for our first transfer, PMA all the way for me!

@notyetamumbuttrying that first appointment will come quickly. Once I had my first one things flew by, my doctor is very open to getting it done lol, my first round was November but ended with 10 eggs, only 3 mature, none got to day 3 Sad. I’ve had a complete change of drugs this time and had two different trigger shots last night. Hopefully that will make some kind of difference to the maturity!

Birdladybird · 18/01/2021 09:50

@InkyPaper thank you Grin

Hopeful110 · 18/01/2021 09:58

@Minster2012 haha I fell flat on my face into a peppa pig sized muddy puddle 🤣 cycle wise im cd71 out of 143 so half way to ovulation haha! I've stocked up on seven seas ttc and pom juice and pure orange juice (makes me feel like I'm doing something good) 🤣 just waiting for 10th March when we see the gynae team, although I'm kinda hoping il ovulate before then, my cm has turnt creamy and sometimes a fair amount so can only be a good sign? As I'm hoping the seven seas might be helping balance the ol hormones?
How are you?? Anymore stepping in dog crap for you too? Lol has AF left the building for you now? Xx

notyetamumbuttrying · 18/01/2021 10:25

@Birdladybird I would've been waiting 3 months by the time I get to the appointment. Just so worried it'll get cancelled because of Covid. It's a popular hospital in London and I know they're cancelling appointments. Even if they don't cancel it, I don't think it'll go quickly as they need to deploy staff elsewhere at the mo. Sorry to hear the eggs didn't mature last time round, here's hoping all works out this time. What's your story about living in France then? How long have you been there? I see you have other kids too, are they supportive of you having no3? It's great that ivf is so affordable in France! X

Catherinettc · 18/01/2021 10:30

Popping on quickly

@blackcurrantqueen hope ur ok? ❤❤❤

blackcurrantqueen · 18/01/2021 10:33

I'm here and reading just still bloody waiting !
Going to be a long days I think 😢

Minster2012 · 18/01/2021 10:34

Still waiting @blackcurrantqueen oh no I came in to see news?

Birdladybird · 18/01/2021 10:36

@notyetamumbuttrying we have been in France almost 5 years. Just sold up and thought we would give it a go! DDs were 10&8 when we came here and now speak fluent French (they are not my DHs biological children, however he is their 'dad'). Its amazing for them, for their future. They do not know we are having IVF, I don't think we will tell many people we did have it if i got pregnant, it just feels a little too personal. I have one friend here who knows as she does the school run for me if i have an early appointment and my DH needs to attend too.

My first round was cancelled due to lockdown last march, but started again in july and since then it has been going ahead as it is classed as an essential treatment. Hopefully your clinic will think the same, surely they would have told you by now if they were going to stop it? I hate the limbo of it all!! At least if you know you can make plans!

paintfairy · 18/01/2021 11:01

@bez91 🤣 we took my dog out the day after the snow arrived (only had a bit here really) and we came across snowmen. My dog (doubt he's seen snow before, came from Spain) was growing at it. 🤣 It did make me laugh.
@Katao oh no. That's shit.
@Juno231 travelling sounds really simple then. 🙈
@blackcurrantqueen ffs. Don't they know we are all waiting?

I'll summarise my ttc journey being others have. Let's see. I'm 38 this week, DH will be 47 this year. Started ttc properly in Dec 2019. I had been tracking since coming off the pill in June 2018 so had a good idea of things. Used opks from the beginning and temping. Joined my first bus in Feb 2020. Tried every dtd timing going. Every supplement going. Every every fucking thing else going. Gave up with buses due to misery. Rejoined, though I can't remember when. October? Never had a sniff of a line on a test. Ever. GP tried to refer me to fertility but were that fucking useless they couldn't take a blood test correctly. So the process from initial call to referral was 6 months (good job i didn't delay calling). DH had an SA through his GP, which isn't dire. I'm now awaiting a fertility appointment. Writing this, I can't decide if to laugh or cry. 🤣

Minster2012 · 18/01/2021 11:02

Right catching up!!

I would say most dogs are observant & familar with things in & out of the home @Vil10, mine is just a twat. Gundog or not, she's a muppet. It will freak her out for at least a week I think 🤣😂. STOP LOOKING AT YOUR RHR. Let's just see right?! Fight the urge! You have good signs sweet! What did the estate agent say about other ppl going round dream house??

@Franklydear ohhhh your poor mum, I mean who knows but I'm still hopefully for trips in July/august if ppl have had the vaccine maybe trips can go ahead? They are flying out the vaccines atm.

@Katao oh god that is shit hun I'm sorry if it is af on the way. Fuck balls. Time for another chat with the doctor?? Are you waiting on referral too?

@Kirky658 you are so funny gone from super fit to zombie!

@TTCAbroad yeah it's good to have a catch up isn't it! So I have a DS who was ivf to my best friend as a surrogate. We are using the other embryo made same time as him in this last one, let's hope this is your month too! Have you found a cycle buddy?

@Justanothercyster so is it confirmed Covid or does someone have to go for a test too? What f ing luck. Bloody thing.

@InkyPaper new cycle, new potential! Onwards & onwards as we are now saying (bloody hell that's a new bus title there!) & it's a trampoline we got from next door & moved into our garden that is freaking dog out. I mean she only saw it yesterday & twice already this morning 🤣this super intelligent gundog. Not.

@Elsie2021 hello welcome to the chatty crazy house! Course you can....how you feeling?

@Juno231 that sounds a lot, I'm sure they will understand surely?? I mean we aren't meant to fly so surely. Can they do a live feed from it? We did that for 2 of my grandparents funerals here in lockdown, it worked really well actually the funeral home had it set up??

@Birdladybird PMA all the way. Remind me of that right!!! 😂

@Hopeful110 that sounds like one of my days!! Peppa would love it eh?! God let's hope you ovulate before then! Shit I didn't drink my Pom juice yesterday 😱😱need to do that today!! AF has left the building yes so prob some condom action tonight 😀😆I'm like you I have to feel like I'm doing something!!

Minster2012 · 18/01/2021 11:15

@paintfairy what's the latest on your referral? They did your bloods right last time didn't they, did you get the result? It's always so horrible when you sortie it down & I know for @blackcurrantqueen they CLEARLY don't know there's a bloody bus willing that bean on in there & waiting on news 🤞🏻

@blodyn91 please tell me it's called folly farm!! That would be fab!

OP posts:
paintfairy · 18/01/2021 11:16

The hospital must have been listening to my mn rant. They've just phoned me. My first fertility appointment (by phone) is 9th February! So not long at all.

paintfairy · 18/01/2021 11:17

@Minster2012 crossed posts. See above. 🤣

blackcurrantqueen · 18/01/2021 11:24

Will read and catch up later!

Short story... empty womb as predicted
A bit of fluid probably blood but no bean!
I've got quite bad pain under my left ribs and in my left pelvis today so they want a repeat HCG to quadruple check nothing there except for some pesky little cysts
Also my bladder was quite full but I've weed three times since I've been here so god knows what's going on there!
Just waiting now to see the doctor but I imagine the plan will be expectant management now

Ive got a million questions I know they're going to fob me off but hopefully they'll be able to refer me to the recurrent MC clinic now

Vil10 · 18/01/2021 11:35

@InkyPaper it's a reasonably quiet day so I should be fine, probably just be knackered when I get home, definitely an early night on the cards!!

@Elsie2021 welcome!!x

@Minster2012 hahaha bless her!! At least she has character though!! Why is the waiting so bloody hard😂 they didn't really say much, just that a few people have looked around but no offers yet!! So hopefully it stays that way🤞🏼

@paintfairy yayyy to fertility appointment!! And not a long wait either, bonus!!

Katao · 18/01/2021 11:46

@Vil10 sorry you aren't feeling hopeful.

@InkyPaper thanks
@Franklydear yes same about 25 days on average but was starting to head morre 25-28 instead of early 20s 😥
@Juno231 thanks. I've been on high dose B vitamins for a year (for another reason). I tried to temp again this cycle but missed lots and to be honest I'm a terrible sleeper so not a great candidate. I think with your granny's funeral that does sound very tough logistically and your family will have to understand if you cannot do it. Maybe you could do something in her honour the day of the funeral as your way of saying goodbye x
@blackcurrantqueen ugh to still waiting! 9h just saw update. Sorry love that it isn't better news and you dtill have so many questions
@paintfairy thanks
@Minster2012 I've been referred but my appointment after Christmas got postponed because of lockdown and no word on the new date.

notyetamumbuttrying · 18/01/2021 11:52

@Birdladybird ah that sounds amazing! And how's your French? 😏 I loved French at school but could never actually speak it to a French speaker with them actually understanding me 😂
Oh that's interesting, I'm sure they'll be surprised and thrilled when ivf is a success then!
As mines on the nhs it's a unit in a popular London hospital and I know they're cancelling phone appointments at the moment. As we have to go in, I hope ours won't be cancelled!!
@paintfairy oh hun, it has been shit for you hasn't it! Just seen your follow up, yay to a phone appointment!! Only a couple of weeks away too. 🙌🏾
@blackcurrantqueen so sorry darlin. Hope you're ok x

Katao · 18/01/2021 11:56

Oh @paintfairy that's great at last!

Minster2012 · 18/01/2021 12:10

Oh @blackcurrantqueen I'm so sorry, I'm always intrigued as to what they think a "normal bladder" is cos they always say that to me too 🤔remember the questions you want to ask then & def push for recurring miscarriage clinic darling. Push push push we are behind you xxx😘

@paintfairy that's great! You are getting somewhere & that's really soon! Boom!

@KateColx you stay lurking sexy, have you made a decision on your pessary stitch thing?

@Katao can you chase them? Def chase them keep pushing

2020mission · 18/01/2021 12:18

Nice to read your TTC stories although I'm not sure when it started and are we all expected to post ours again?

Dropping in this morning with a quick pregnacare question for those who are or have taken these supplements... are headaches a side effect? I've had 3 days of headaches since starting and I'm someone who never gets headaches so I know something is off 🙁 is it just me?

Hope everyone is doing ok and we have some more BFPs soon!

paintfairy · 18/01/2021 12:31

@2020mission no i never got headaches. But my friend did and claims it was them. She stopped taking them.
@blackcurrantqueen oh no. I'm really sorry to read your news. I hope you are OK x
@Minster2012 @notyetamumbuttrying @Katao @Vil10 yeah not long at all! I was expecting months. I mean, they might not do anything for months. But I suppose at least the ball is rolling. Somehow! I'll feel well nervous nearer the time though. Hate video calls as it is! 🙈

2020mission · 18/01/2021 12:41

Thanks for your quick reply @paintfairy! I am quite petite (both in height and weight) so I think maybe the levels or something in it is just hitting me too hard. I was absolutely fine with the seven seas so it's strange. I'll see how the rest of today and tomorrow goes with it but I might have to just come off them. My husband is fine with his wellman tablets at least 😅

Minster2012 · 18/01/2021 12:47

@2020mission I think a few ppl have said that yes, I think it's a balance finding the right tablets for you really some ppl don't like them I asked my GP about them & she said "they are just vitamins so should be fine" but they can affect ppl in different ways

OP posts:
Kirky658 · 18/01/2021 13:03

@2020mission I've been taking for 6 months at first I had headaches then I think I adjusted to them. Like @minster2012 says it's just trial and error to find the ones that suit you really!

@blackcurrantqueen sending so much love your way. Xx

paintfairy · 18/01/2021 13:07

@2020mission oh possibly? My friend is really petite too? Her DH carried on with the wellman but she stopped the pregnacare. I think some people do just get on with different ones. Boots do their own? I started on those. Seem more comprehensive than seven seas but not as much as pregnacare.
I also saw a link to these earlier (not tried them though). www.cytoplan.co.uk/pregna-plan?gclid=CjwKCAiAgJWABhArEiwAmNVTBz60_O8g7I2cV9oXUz-xl5BE_zoBtBmlouX07pC822Bb1BsMYDZeoRoCy78QAvD_BwE
