Oh my goodness to say we are a chatty group is an understatement most times but that’s great cos it’s not all about TTC here, anything goes, we now have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat so a few ppl can pop up on top heads up and out into wind to gulp in the non TTC air but still hold on to us & know where we are...like our pups that come with us with ears flapping in the wind our beloved ladies may have one flap flying in the wind...”watch out for the left outer flap”...someone once shouted to their OH...that might set the tone here nicely.

Get it?! No?! Sometimes nor do we...🙄the chat, the deed, the sperm, the egg, the fact that we aren’t pregnant yet after shagging twelfty millions times a month forever. But we are here for each other, to chat shit, to help each other out the pits or wallow within the pits, for all the highs and lows.

@blackcurrantqueen yes 12 days is OK. Implantation they say is day 10 (reckon it's earlier many times though) so as long as its longer than that. But if you are spotting from before that, then that wouldn't be ideal.
@Skip86 interesting he feels like that about the counselling. Hopefully it'll get better. But no one likes being told when they aren't behaving right and that's what it's for? It can't help if she just sat there telling you that there's no problem? Men. 🙄 I would find it very hard though, I have to admit. But after a few times it'll hopefully become easier.

@lucyrp I'm a gagger too. Even when they do an xray! Completely feel your pain.

14dpo today. Felt horrendous in the night. Woke up 1000 degrees. Felt sick. Horrendous stomach pain right in the middle, and bad wind that smelled horrific. Usually i feel sick but know i won't be in life, but I actually thought it was going to happen. Still a bit of wind this morning but OK otherwise. Strange. But a similar thing actually happened last month (Christmas day night actually) at 12dpo. I got lower stomach pains, and had diarrhea. I thought I'd eaten something. Therefore I'm not excited I'm pregnant, because I felt like death. But I can't say this new symptom is enjoyable!

@Minster2012 bit grim, WFH with a 3 year old on your knee 99.9% of the day isn't fun 😆 yes in TWW, 10/11 DPO today.

This is another stupid question, but say you have more than one fertilised embryo, do they put them all in or dispose of the rest, or... I forgot to ask that and it's a bit unclear. Does one round mean one transfer?

@lucyrp ah yes I remember when I got my braces off when I was 15 I think, it was a great day and I couldn't stop smiling haha. You'll get used to them, eek for the gagging! I still have my permanent retainers in, they'll never leave my mouth 😂 How far along are you now? Have you announced of anything?

@notyetamumbuttrying that would be cool! I don't know how I feel about ivf tbh, I read about the success rates first time around and I feel like I've already given up. Just can't imagine actually ever being pregnant now and pisses me off that the nhs only offers one round when it's so hit or miss 😞 but something is better than nothing... let's hope we're lucky 🤞🏼

Well to say we talked about holding off from ttc untilafter March just yesterday.. I went bed early coz felt bit unwell... as soon as OH came bed he pounced on me with the 🍆🤣 no complaints here lol

@Franklydear hmmm constipation & bowels are a tricky one. Every person had a different pattern so some people go once or sometimes twice a day and that's normal for them and others only go once every 2-3days and that's normal for them. Typically I tell people if you aren't going as regular as you were before or if you have a bad tummy, feel particularly bloated or if when you do go it doesn't feel complete then it needs to be addressed for you own comfort & wellbeing.

So with regards to DS, it hard to advise properly because obviously I havnt done an assessment but I would say if hes got a reasonably regular pattern (even if its not daily) and doesn't have a bad tummy then it will probably be okay. If he is uncomfortable then I would consider the laxatives to help keep him regular but it maybe explore different types if this one isn't really suiting him. If it's causing bowel urgency & loose stools then that's no good.

What's his diet like? What about drinks/fluids? If constipation or sluggish bowel movements are an ongoing thing then usually the diet is playing a role, especially if someone's maybe has a less varied diet which is common in autism as many people struggle with textures/tastes/sensory issues.

So I'm back on social media now after a 16 day break and can say it did a world of good!! Caught up with Minster musing insta @Minster2012 love it!! We've had lots of snow here so going to take the dogs out in it soon, then I'm going to have a pamper I think, shower hair wash shave tinted moisturiser nails, trying to make myself feeling better whilst on my period!! @Justanothercyster so he said 10% mortgages have only just come bk and he thinks 5% will too but he can't put a time on it, he said the government will have to back it too, so guessing it'll be a while yet!
And on ivf, something I only found out once I spoke to more ppl about it... one round does NOT mean one go at it! One round means a round of embryo creation so if they make several embryos they'll freeze all of them and then can transfer them should the fresh round not work. My area do 1 fresh round and 2 frozen. Some areas do endless frozen until all the embryos are used. Check your ccg and hospital if you know which one already.

@Sausage1990 doctors was literally last resort, can't face prunes but have spent over a week getting about 10 portions of fruit and veg a day, avoiding stodgy & processes food etc but no joy so called the dr and was like please help me 🙈 Wasn't quite brave enough for prunes @lucyrp 😂

@Skip86 men hate when they actually have to talk and I think they have such fragile egos that when someone points out that maybe, just possibly, they might be wrong or their behaviour has been less than exemplary they take that as badly as a bullet! Last time round was so bad towards the end and after c section they wouldn't let me leave hospital until I pooped so I was in for 5 days 🙈 definitely do not want that again so I'll take my disgusting softeners and down it in one telling myself it's tequila 😂

@Kirky658 I seem to be sleeping in 3/4 hour bursts which means I'm awake at random times. I'll sleep from 7-11 then be awake til 4/5am, another few hours, up again, wfh so I usually end up napping on my lunch hour then back to sound asleep at 7 😩

@Minster2012 heidi has crazy eyes 👀 so far the only sane/normal woman seems to be jules (?) had a nosey online and her and cam are still together and have/are having baby/babies 😊 Mel is nuts but she's so nice she's the polar opposite of Ines (god I hate her!!)

@notyetamumbuttrying I couldn't believe he was 44, nearly cried laughing when he was described as what a baby of Jason statham and Bruce Willis would look like 🤣 I'm ok, he was 73, had been receiving throat cancer treatment through the summer despite not exactly being in the best of health (smoker, heavy drinker, he enjoyed life but definitely did not prioritise health). Sadly he never really recovered from treatment and was being tube fed, all very sad but I like to think he's at peace now and at 73 he had a good life when you consider others passing away so so much younger.

@Justanothercyster not silly questions at all, they will always freeze other good embryos for you. it depends on your area as to how many "rounds you get on the nhs" @clolo what's it in your area? & @Juno231 but if you get more fertilised then like @Birdladybird here you get the others frozen for future use. So my friend who has just got preg naturally had ivf on NHS before had one put back in on her fresh transfer, that worked, and she has 3 frozen still. But because her fresh worked you then have to pay for the later frozen transfers (about £1800 in total like mine now). But I think @clolo looked into it and gets one fresh transfer & 1 frozen in her area If the fresh doesn't work then the nhs pay for the frozen try too. You also get the storage costs of the frozen embryos paid for a set time depending on your area (£350 per year here) It always stops when you have a child that reaches 6 months old. Does that make sense??

When I say he didn't look after his health he really didn't, alcoholic for 50+ years, he was 73 but if you saw him would swear he was 93! My grandad (other side) is 80, fit as a fiddle and full of life so try not to worry about your dad, I saw my uncle as an old man but don't see my grandad like that at all. Nobody believes he is 80! I'm sure no one here knows me so I'll show you a photo from his 80th! I can't wait to tell him he's going to be a great grandad again, he's going to be so delighted, adores dd and she adores him! He was my first visitor in the hospital when she was born and was v emotional at the privilege of being a great grandad!

Feel ok about this TWW, it seems to have dragged because of lockdown and not a lot of distractions but I've had some symptoms similar to my other BFPs that ended in MC but who knows- we shall see on Wednesday 😊

I didn't realise they IVF was such a postcode lottery, I assumed it would be the same across the country. That's really exciting about Wednesday, fingers crossed for you! Hope you got your bank sorted - little bastards x

Ahh that's so sweet! Love your grandad! 🥰 yeah no one believes my dad when he says his age. My mum is 8 years younger and everyone thinks she's older than him 😂 not because she looks it, because he looks so good! He dyes his beard to hide the greys and shaves his head so he can fool everyone lol! He's not overweight or anything and just looks so youthful still. Plus acts about 15 😆 he's hilarious!

@notyetamumbuttrying I think originally the plan was to whack it straight in. But her body was over stimulating on the drugs. So they said they would freeze. And look to do it this year. I guess as soon as her body is doing the right thing?

@notyetamumbuttrying yep, we live rural so the garden is huge! OH bought himself a ride on mower to tackle it 😂 wish it was smaller as I have zero interest in gardening! The hill you see is part of the family land and there is a nice wee loch up there, not sure for how much longer I'll be able to haul my ass up there though as I struggle as it is 🥵🤣
