Oh my goodness to say we are a chatty group is an understatement most times but that’s great cos it’s not all about TTC here, anything goes, we now have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat so a few ppl can pop up on top heads up and out into wind to gulp in the non TTC air but still hold on to us & know where we are...like our pups that come with us with ears flapping in the wind our beloved ladies may have one flap flying in the wind...”watch out for the left outer flap”...someone once shouted to their OH...that might set the tone here nicely.

Get it?! No?! Sometimes nor do we...🙄the chat, the deed, the sperm, the egg, the fact that we aren’t pregnant yet after shagging twelfty millions times a month forever. But we are here for each other, to chat shit, to help each other out the pits or wallow within the pits, for all the highs and lows.

MIL phoned me today after she's been looking on google about one of my conditions (addisons) and how dangerous it is in pregnancy (it's not that bad) and how it can cause miscarriages (not that much) so she's convinced that caused my MMC (highly unlikely & I was actually at an endocrine antenatal appointment after my early scan when we realised & I was only meant to be 7 weeks so that was as early as I needed to be in the system endocrine system anyway they got me straight into talk about what "being pregnant & my condition meant") but she's now convinced it's horrendous FFS. Dr google has a lot to answer for. 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Franklydear omg! What a fucking bitch?! Yeah you are unreasonable you selfish cow! 🤣 Who even would bother posting that? If asked for the money you'd just think that's fine? If they said don't bother you'd be like- oh thank you very much? But what makes her think they can afford it? Jesus.

@minster2012 I don't get the hype with mafs never watched it... not much a fan of those sorts of shows.. give me more bridgerton anyday

Just had long talks with OH and he still wants me to have appointment for clinic 😁 his main worry is more that last year bcos of covid he didn't be in as many hours as normal and additional costs of baby would mean things would be real tight and couldn't have the little luxuries etc which I totally understand. Atm he feels like it would be too hard with just the one income. We gonna save up and get second car (I drive motability car for use with my dad) and do evening deliveries to save up a nice pot of money. But he's said to give him till March April to see how work goes and then take it from there... we not actually going to stop trying ( if it happens as and when dtd)but he will make more of an effort with it and obv with clinic appointment give everything 110% .feeling much better after that . I had major doubts in my head because of my ex(left due to d.abuse) refused sex for almost 3 years so I couldn't risk getting pregnant as he couldn't provide for kid (never worked a day in his life till I left him!)
But now I'm glad we talked as I understand where we are at and we have a plan!

Sorry for long post.. it's good to get it out...

Now I can work on Valentine's day naughtiness 😈🤪 I'm gonna bake a cake and find something naughty to wear I think lol sooo glad it falls at the weekend as last year he was working.

@Dollybird89 from what I've learnt from friends and family, there is never a right and perfect time for a baby, there'll always be something, don't cancel your fertility appointment, still go ahead with it, and don't stress lovely, I know it's easier said than done though xx just read further down and saw that you've discussed it, glad you feel better about it and you're still going ahead with your appointment!

@Dollybird89 that's so good and never apologise for a long post lovely, that's what we are here for, sounds like a great plan bloody hell I think the delivery driver round here must earn more than us (I'm genuinely being serious) but do you need a second car for that even to start with? Juno got it right before, you've got no lost income atm anyway if you got pregnant whereas if you "got a new job" it may actually be worse but I totally see his point on the tax bill and not as much work as last year so it's a very good compromise as he's clearly worried

I'm massively relieved and have one embryo on board. One had already been frozen and i have one more they want to watch until monday before making a decision on it.

@justanothercyster no bed rest, i was on my feet within 3 minutes of the transfer. Just to take it easy. She gave me a photo of the embryo inside me as well which was a nice touch :D

@minster2012 its mainly just to build up a pot of savings to buy new baby stuff with etc and a lil bit to fall back on if needed.. I'm not allowed to use current car for deliveries for insurance reasons. It's not a long term thing with the deliveries just till work picks back up.

I'm excited to see how things go for your scan wed.. fingers crossed it's all good news. What would the next step be on results from the scan?

@Dollybird89 i am glad you sorted things out. I'm sure it'll be fine. Definitely no perfect time! And I don't watch mafs either. 🤣 I did the UK one but DH was not impressed I made him watch shite. We only have 1 TV.

@Clairey844 yeah on MIL I just went I will take a look at google thanks & bear it in mind 🙄 like you say my teams are very good so I will go by what they say as opposed to google but tbh it's pretty shit cos I have to manage it all myself & it's hard to try to deal with what "normal ppls bodies would deal with normal fluctuations in cortisol" I can't do that & that's where I end up in hospital & I think she's just realised that in general 🙄

@Dollybird89 ahhh I see on the car front. With ya. And yeah savings would be good, but second hand is good for loads of stuff. I haven't had a new pram yet & our DS's furniture is solid oak & cost £250 for a roomful, way better quality than anything I saw in the shops new & it had already gone through 3 children in the family we got it off. I like that. If my lining is ready the transfer is booked for the following week but this is my 3rd & I've never had a lining ready at the first one yet ☹️in fact they think mine is just "thin" & could contribute to poor implantation. I'm trying to be positive but 😩

It's good that things are going ahead with the fertility clinic @Justanothercyster, I know march might feel like ages away but at least it's giving you something to aim for tho still hoping you get some natural luck before then.

Arghh another pregnancy announcement at our weekly Friday company wide work video call 😑 a it's a woman who just came back from maternity leave in September too! It's fine... I poured a wine and trying to forget how easy it is for some people.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. We had a mention of something called flexi furlough that we're apparently starting next week which sounds odd to me - I always thought you were either on furlough or not? If it means more free time though I'm fine with that 😂 more BD time!

@minster2012 oak is what the OHwants .. he's planning on making a crib and rocking chair when the time comes.. so that not cost much as he shud b able to get the wood from work! But he's always cautious when it comes to money and always likes to have at least the next 2/3 months lot of bill /rent money and the delay at going back after Xmas plus lack of work due to covid put him back a bit ... he keeps money worries to himself but finally let up today so was really good totalk.

OMG Tesco bank just phoned me to say there's been a fraud attempt on my card and they need to change my card etc and now I've had to interrupt MAFS when they were screaming at each other FFS

@Minster2012 they guilted us into working during furlough in the summer it was pretty dodgy 😬 it sounds the same again really as surely you're either on furlough or not? It sounds like they are claiming furlough for us but will want us to work at least part time. Should find out more on Monday when I have a catch up with my line manager!

Oh no was there any dodgy activity on your Tesco bank card? My credit card got cancelled once due to suspicious activity but I had ordered a click and collect at Doddle the day before and I think that was what they thought was dodgy as suddenly 2 orders weren't being delivered to my usual address anymore. I'm so careful with my card and noticed nothing suspicious on my bills at the time. It was right before Christmas too 🙄 they wouldn't tell me what they thought was dodgy when they cancelled it either.

@2020mission I've heard of part time furlough, basically the company can use it to top up your wages so ask you to do three days a week say and then pay you your full wage for 2 days of that makes sense, friend of mine is an estate agent and she's working 3 days being paid for 5 atm. But they don't have to give you as much notice and can chop and change a bit more with it hence the flexible part.

Its weird it only seems to happen with credit cards? I literally barely use mine. But I had it happen once with i think it was barclaycard? They are so on the ball with it, it's unreal?
