Oh wow, I turn away from Mumsnet for a day and look at all the new people joining us! So exciting - welcome ladies! @nibblette @Coco987 @BlondieBlondie15 @caitvictoria ! I'm TTC baby no.1, first "official" cycle (last month we had a spontaneous unprotected moment, but we weren't actively trying yet!). Currently 6-7 DPO depending on which app you believe.
@BlondieBlondie15 - I'm so sorry to hear about your MCs. Two of them at 6 weeks is just so cruel. Sending you lots of hugs and good vibes for a BFP and a healthy PG! I'm with you on reading into every symptom. I've taken @NW2021' s approach of looking back at my symptoms for previous months (I've been tracking my cycle for a few months) to remind myself I got the same symptoms when not PG!
@nibblette I also admire your willpower! I'm totally with you on wanting to avoid knowing about a possible chemical though - the extra few days knowing perhaps isn't worth the potential stress and upset. Agree there is SO much information out there, and it's quite hard to know what to trust. The trouble is I'd like to just stick to the NHS website or something similar that I can trust - but that's like 10 minutes of reading then you're done! We want more! So random googling it is...
@coco987 Fingers crossed it's just imp bleeding, but as others have said, remember it's a fresh start if not. Allow yourself some time to be sad, but also make a list of all the things you can definitely do - at least for the next few weeks - that you wouldn't be able to. For me that would be wine (obvs), maybe a brutal workout or run and a really hot bath!
@1littlewren @JCQ2021 - Hope you're both doing well my cycle twins! Or I guess triplets
JCQ - that looks like a great confirmation of O on your chart! I've finally gotten used to taking my BBT and can tell it's going to be so useful. Temps staying high atm, though I had a little dip to the cover line at DPO 5 - could be nothing, but obviously I went straight to "implantation"! It would be too early, and not a big enough dip, I think.
@Fifi1086 I hope you get your spike soon! I'm envious of your EWCM (what a WEIRD sentence!). I barely got any this month, or at least.. I couldn't tell whether I was getting it because of all the DTD - an odd problem to have. We used PreSeed, so I hope that helped- has anyone else tried it?
@NW2021 You've made it to double figures! You
! Seriously got my fingers crossed for you! Hopefully the early feeling of AF is a good sign...!
Phewf - I hope I got everybody! Haha. As for me and my "symptoms"... 6/7 DPO atm, felt very tired at 5-6 DPO (like eye-twitchingly tired), but much better today, slightly tender in left breast, but I know from last month that's kinda normal for me, my skin was cr*p immediately post O, but is now clearing up. Thinking the better skin might be the mid-luteal estrogen surge, which is perhaps consistent with my slight temp dip too. I was very bloated at 5-6 DPO too, but I guess that's just normal progesterone? I've had a bit of twinging too, but no major cramps. Oh and creamy CM, which increased today, but nothing major.
So I've done a fair amount of googling and learning about hormones! But tbh I don't feel very out of the ordinary - if I weren't TTC, I don't think I'd notice anything! Fingers crossed for the next few days... Fortunately work is super busy atm (this was a nice lunch break thing to do!) so that's a nice distraction!
