Hi all,

Is there any others currently in their 2ww?

OH works away so we could only DTD 2-3 days before O. So I don't know whether I'm that hopeful. Plus it's our first month trying for #2.

So is there anyone else currently waiting and we can support each other through the wait? I'll be 10dpo on the 22nd which would be amazing if I get a positive as it will be a year on from a loss.

@Fifi1086 I've been thinking about you. It's so rubbish that you didn't get your static, but....if you DTD around CD10 then 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 it might happen for you this month! Also you're further along than you thought which I'm very jealous about. Maybe the tiredness is a sign. I'm also due around then too, hope we get our BFP's this month xx

Aw you're so good to be thinking of me @BWaiting yeah it's frustrating especially when I'm a control freak and need to know everything 😂 but there isn't much I can do. My temp has stayed high again today. I only temped this month so I could confirm ovulation and I've just ended up more confused haha

I am cd14 and predicted day of ov. I've spent the evening subtly suggesting to the oh that we should dtd as we did yesterday but he didn't finish... subtlety didn't work so I just got naked and got my own way haha Not convinced it was my ov day so will be continuing the seduction for at least another week just to know I've covered all bases and then he can have his Xbox back!!

@NW2021 So I don’t want to add fuel to the symptom spotting fire, but any chance your temp dip could be the implantation temp drop? As you’re very familiar with temping and it’s so unusual for you..? Would be early perhaps but you never know!

@1littlewren Haha, this is an excellent technique! Just gotta cut straight to the chase! I panicked yesterday when I thought I had EWCM and so had maybe mistimed ovulation, so got in another DTD “just in case” - we literally had to check our diaries and schedule it around work calls!

Are you teaching in school atm or at home? Bravo either way - I have some teacher friends and they are totally “Zoomed out” at the moment!

Anyway, there was probably no need for my extra DTD as my apps have all just confirmed ovulation - woop! Flo has me at 2DPO and FF at 3DPO, so obvs going to trust FF as it pushes me more into the 2WW 😀 I just checked my chart and totted up that we DTD twice on day of O (or the day before if you believe Flo) and once per day in the three days leading up and once after. If that’s not enough I don’t know what is... We did DTD twice in the lead up to the FW too though and now I’m kicking myself for that in case sperm count was too low on the days that mattered. But I think I also just need to chill out 😂

It’s great hearing all your experiences and thoughts too - I’m not sure if it increases or decreases the “crazy” really, but keep them coming!

@Fifi1086 that’s so strange still flashing smiles?! But I think you’re right not testing any more if they’re getting fainter, best to wait till AF arrives and see what happens! Least you’re hopefully further along than you thought 🥰 got everything crossed for you!

@Lowkeyloopy I did think that?! But I think it’d be too early for implantation? It was only around 5/6dpo yesterday?! No idea what was going on?!
Defo sounds like you’ve covered FW week with lots of DTD!! I wouldn’t panic you’ve done everything you can now, just the dreaded tww begins!

I’m absolutely shattered today. In bed for 8.30 last night 🤦🏼‍♀️ Then woke for my bbt and went back to bed again! 😂
It’s normally how I feel before AF to be honest but it seems a bit early to feel so crap. I’m defo starting to symptom spot more now, doing my own head in! I’m getting more CM at the moment and I’m thinking does that normally happen? Am I just noticing it because I’m looking for it? 🤯

Any way, how’s everyone else this morning? I’ve decided I’m CD29 a week today so if no AF I’m testing! I’d be 13/14dpo at that point.

Just had a FaceTime of my best friend whose told me she’s pregnant! Honestly I’m so so happy for her, I can’t stop smiling!! I just hope and pray now I get that bfp next week I would love to be pregnant and babies close to together with her.
I want that positive more than ever now!

@Fifi1086 I think they say EWCM but I read somewhere that any type of cm is good to protected the sperm any way. People can get pregnant without it. Just get DTD! 🤣

The amount of threads that go on for ages with people talking all about their 2WW symptoms and then people just.. disappear!! Don’t they know we need to know if their symptoms meant anything?!

Does anyone have anything planned for Valentine's Day? It's my least favourite day of the year, I am not one for all the hype and know full well that the OH will completely forget!!

@NW2021 how lovely that your friend is pregnant, hopefully this will be your month too. It's so nice having a friend for mat leave, although, Covid permitting, you'll be able to make lots of friends at baby groups too! I made one of my best mum friends at a random coffee date!
I have a friend at work who is pregnant and I'm finding it hard to be over the moon happy for her, in a really selfish way. I feel like she wasn't massively wanting to be pregnant and got pregnant super quick whereas I am sooo desperate and it's not happening.

@Lowkeyloopy have you started symptom spotting??!! How many dpo are you now??

Happy Saturday! Everyone! Got a dip on my bbt chart today so I'm hoping a peak tomorrow will confirm ovulation 😁 even though I got the peak on cb, I never got any positives on regular opk. I'm placing my trust in cb!

That’s so difficult especially if she’s not really wanting to get pregnant! I still find it hard to understand how people get pregnant so quick! When others try for years.

Honestly I thought they’d be a part of me sad (in a really selfish way) when she told me but i was over the moon! I couldn’t stop smiling for the rest of the day! It really was the happy news I needed this lockdown.
Im FaceTiming her later to get all the details! (It was really quick our convo yesterday) I know she’d come off the pill last year and took her about 5mths to get pregnant.

Ooo I hope so! 🥰 I do feel a bit more relaxed this month, really don’t have that many symptoms to be honest so not getting my hopes up! I did nearly puke at the smell of bacon this morning though 😂 it turned my stomach I had to Chuck it I couldn’t bring myself to eat it.

@NW2021 that def sounds like a good sign to me! And you often hear it's the month that people don't have any symptoms that they get their BFP! How many dpo are you now? On my first pregnancy bacon was the thing I craved the most in the first few months 😂😂 I spent months surviving on bacon in bagels 😂 and I wouldn't be a big meat eater at all!

We made a decision finally that we are gonna go ahead and get married in May this year. We were meant to have our big day last May but then covid happened so we postponed it til May this year. We don't wanna keep putting it off so we are gonna have a very small family wedding in May and then a big reception in March next year!!! That way, I will get to wear my dress for at least one of them whether I get pregnant now or later 😂 #priorities

I love that we are all over the place.. I'm in the midlands in England!! Also nothing to do!! Contemplating a nice walk later....

My OH is working late tomorrow so we literally will do nothing for valentines at all. According to Flo today is my last FW day so going to try and dtd again later. I am super lightheaded again today though and I've just compared notes from last month and it matches perfectly to 2dpo!! Weird!!! (Thats assuming Flo has got my ov day correct!)

Exciting about your wedding @Fifi1086. We postponed ours last year and were going to do it this summer but I'm going to wait until next (2022) Christmas now I think

@Fifi1086 Haha I think it’s ok to be excited to ovulate - not like there’s much else to do at the moment! We’re on total lock down in the UK. How about Ireland?

@1littlewren No real plans for V day. DP will be watching the 6 nations and I’m going for a walk with my friend! We’ll do cards and we started a bit of a tradition a couple of years ago of buying each other donations to charity, so I’ll sort that later!

@NW2021 All good with me! Continue to feel like it definitely hasn’t happened, though that’s based on absolutely nothing! 4 DPO today. Had a chat with DP this morning about when we could test and I explained about the possibility of a chemical. So he was like “oh we just definitely shouldn’t test until missed period then”. D’oh. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think he’s right but it’s going to be so hard to do that!

So lovely how happy you are for your friend! I have everything crossed for you for this month, but remember even if you’re a couple of months after her, it won’t make any difference in the long run!

@1littlewren Nope haven’t started symptom spotting! It’s tempting to, but I know that anything I’m feeling now will just be the progesterone surge... Ask me again at 8DPO though, haha.
