Hi all,

Is there any others currently in their 2ww?

OH works away so we could only DTD 2-3 days before O. So I don't know whether I'm that hopeful. Plus it's our first month trying for #2.

So is there anyone else currently waiting and we can support each other through the wait? I'll be 10dpo on the 22nd which would be amazing if I get a positive as it will be a year on from a loss.

@1littlewren morning! CD31 today for me and still no AF.. my boobs are absolutely killing on the sides and under the arms. I’m getting more actual period like cramps today so I think she’s on the way just being slow 😂 any developments for anyone else x

@scandiontheloose it's so strange isn't it. We've actually had a last minute change of plans as little man decided he did t want to go out and it's also snowing and I really don't want to freeze today so I'm making cheese scones and banana loaf whilst dinosaurs terrorise little mans town!

@Brightspark12 oooo how many days is your cycle usually? Have you/are you testing soon?

@1littlewren they’re normally about 25-28 days... I am so convinced that AF Is coming I almost don’t want to waste a test 😂 how are you feeling x

Just after I typed that went to the toilet and AF had arrived 😂 oh well on to the next one xx

@Brightspark12 well you're well over your usual length so you never know... if you haven't tested yet you are the most strong willed person ever... I would never manage that!!

I'm ok, CD26 for me and I usually come on around 26-28 so just waiting now. I have tested and got bfn but I also know with my first I didn't get a BFP until after AF was due so 🤷🏻‍♀️ I am being a crazy symptom spotter though and finding things to cling onto 🤣

@1littlewren I know! I’m not feeling too bad tbh I could prob do with losing some weight before😂 ohh! That sounds promising, when are you going to test again x

Ttc Nr 2 at the moment. I'm in my 2 ww at the moment, currently cycle day 21. For some reason I don't think it will work this month though. I've got no early symptoms and still feel the same.

@Brightspark12 are you ttc your first? How long have you been trying for?
I was convinced last weekend that I was going to get a BFP this month and this weekend I'm quite the opposite, I'll not test now until I'm actually late.

@1littlewren... Yeah it’s my first- we’re taking a casual approach, we haven’t actually had the ‘shall we start trying’ conversation but we would both be happy. I did try temping and CB ov sticks this month so I’d have an idea of Ov... but never got a smiley so I think timings may have been off!
Welll you aren’t out till AF comes.. you may be surprised. Did you have any symptoms with your first x

@Brightspark12 honestly the casual approach is the best! I was so chilled with #1. This time I'm like a woman possessed!! I don't remember having any symptoms other than a feeling like I'd pulled a muscle in an odd place 🤣

@1littlewren how long did it take you for number 1? I know, although I say I’m casual when It comes to about 10dpo I am constantly thinking about it 😂

@Brightspark12 I think about 3/4 months. Oh I was a super tester but I had no idea then about symptoms or tww or cm or temping or anything!! We just said if it happens it happens!

Afternoon ladies!! I’ve been for a walk in the snow & it’s bloody freezing! Back home on the sofa, heating on and not planning on moving any time soon 😂

@Brightspark12 that is literally always the way! Me and my friend were saying as soon as you go to buy a test AF arrives like she’s knows you’ve just wasted money 😂
Gutted that AF has arrived for you, on to the next cycle though 🤍

I’ve decided next month I’m just going to try the casual approach (she says!). We’re going back to the old fashion method of just having lots and lots of sex 😂 and hopefully that’ll do it! I’ve got Mr back for a whole 2 weeks, rather than just a weekend, so it’s going to be our best shot.

Hey @NW2021 🙋🏻‍♀️ It's soooo cold isn't it!!! Glad you've got your Mr home for so long next month! We have taken a similar approach this month, just lots of love in this house 🤣 If it doesn't take then at least you can say you had fun 😜 I am due any time now really. It's CD 26 and my cycle is usually 26-28 days, although last month went to 30 just to drive me insane!!!

Current symptoms include super amount of sleepiness, ridiculous vivid dreams and a twitchy eye (yes I have actually googled that to see if it's a symptom 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣🤣)

@1littlewren exactly! Least it’ll be a fun couple of weeks 😂 I won’t have seen him for a month when he gets back so we’ve got some catching up to do! 🤣
So literally any time soon for you! I found that time is the worst part waiting for AF but also hoping she doesn’t arrive. I was the same this month! Normally 28/29 but this month 30! She’s so annoying sometimes!
I’m adamant next month I’m not going near a test till my af is due!

@NW2021 sorry to hear af arrived. Good luck for next month. Sounds like you will be able to give it a good try at least next month with OH being around at the crucial time.

@WaitingForEgg what did you decide to do about next month. We have decided we won't be trying till April when I've had the second vaccine dose. Anyone any good ideas of what to do the next three months to boost chances for April onwards x

@Brightspark12 I'm good thanks lovely! Went for a very long walk today with a friend and talked about lots of non-TTC things, which was nice and healthy. 22,000 steps too! Must remember that when I'm googling "leg cramps" as a symptom tomorrow!

Sorry to hear about your BFN - AF is so sneaky, but great attitude - onwards and upwards!

I was doing lots more reading last night and increasingly realising there is just really no way of guessing pregnancy so early post-O is there.. I do enjoy the symptom spotting with you all, but could just make myself actually loopy if I'm not careful! So am going to try to substitute nice books instead of my pre-bedtime googling sessions..! If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know!

@Peachee Welcome! We also kinda casually tried this month (for our first) having planned to try "properly" from next month. I then immediately became not so casual in my symptom spotting - hope you can do better than me!

@Violet1988 So I'm not an expert obvs as only first cycle TTC, but from all my reading.. obviously the important stuff like prenatal vitamins (me and DP both on pregnacare/wellman), not drinking or smoking and cutting down on caffeine, but I also heard stuff about plant protein being preferable to animal protein for pre-conception diet, which actually worked well for us as we kinda tried out being veggie (except for fish) during first lockdown and it stuck - we've both lost weight and have so much more energy! I've been listening to "What to expect before you're expecting" and "Mayo Clinic Guide to Fertility" on Audible and would recommend both!
