Hi all,

Is there any others currently in their 2ww?

OH works away so we could only DTD 2-3 days before O. So I don't know whether I'm that hopeful. Plus it's our first month trying for #2.

So is there anyone else currently waiting and we can support each other through the wait? I'll be 10dpo on the 22nd which would be amazing if I get a positive as it will be a year on from a loss.

@Lowkeyloopy I am absolutely the same! Woke at 12 thinking it was morning (I’d only been asleep an hour 😂) then the same happened woke at 5am thinking it was 7am. Wide awake since then reading! The past week I just can’t sleep. I think it’s just my brain not switching off 😂
I’ll be the same, feeling silly when my af arrives this week! Least I might be able to sleep then 😂

@Brightspark12 you have the best will power! 😂 I tested around 10-12dpo and got 2 bfn, I know it was probs way to early but I’ve now just written off this month. Luckily I have no more tests in the house either. If Af hasn’t arrived by Friday I best do another one because I’ve never had a cycle longer than 30 days.
When you thinking of testing?

@Brightspark12 @NW2021 snap I’m CD28 too, though my cycles are increasingly long so AF not due for another week or so. @Lowkeyloopy I’ve been increasingly insomniatic (not a word?!) since starting tracking and TTC and I’ve assumed it’s just anxiety but I really hope it’s good news for you. When are you planning to test?

@W8inray Yes I think you’re right and it’s quite possibly just anxiety for me too, though I don’t feel particularly anxious during the day or have much trouble getting off to sleep in the first place. Sigh.. we’ll see! I would be quite surprised if we had managed it this month - we were only planning to start TTC next month but kinda threw caution to the wind last week..! I won’t test until next weekend, assuming AF doesn’t show on 28 Jan as expected. I hope you’re managing the 2ww ok! Have you had any symptoms?

@NW2021 @Lowkeyloopy @W8inray wow I wonder if there is anything more to restless sleep? Hopefully we will find out😂 I think it will be CD30 on Friday so I will test weekend if AF hasn’t come as I’ve never had a cycle longer than 30 days. Didn’t think this would be such a bloody ballache 😂think it’s cos you hear so many stories when you’re younger of having sex once and getting knocked up you’re led to believe it’s easy!!

YES !! Finding this cycle so stressful !! AF arrived early last month CD 17 , so I am really anxious this month, haven't really tracked asuch just dtd every 2/3 days, baby dust to us all !! X I am symptom spotting like crazy, constipated, irritable, moody, tired, low back ache, headaches last week ... the joys !

@Lowkeyloopy @Brightspark12 @NW2021 I know I'm not a particularly anxious person (just impatient!) but sleep has been all over the place. No other notable symptoms for me, was very tired last night but probably all the waking up in the night!

I know exactly what you mean you spend your whole life living in fear of getting knocked up and then when it comes down to it it turns out it's actually much harder than you thought!

I'm symptom spotting like crazy too based on previous pregnancies. I have a heavy feeling in my tummy area lately too and crazy bloating. Not due to test for another week. Despite getting a long stretch of sleep I'm still tired a lot too.

@Moneypenny007 same here. I could genuinely sleep for 12+ hours and still need a nap. I get tired normally before AF too but usually a few days before not 9.

Guys just wondering- when does everyone consider it to be CD1? I usually have a bit when I wipe then proper flow starts next day- is it first day of full flow or from first sight of blood x

@Brightspark12 Hey! I’ve been reading a book on period cycles, trying to get a bit more knowledge in fertility etc & the author says the CD1 is when it’s the first day of full flow.

It’s called ‘Period Power’ it’s really good! I was reading over it last night, hence why I knew about CD1 😂 in the past I would of normally just gone with as soon as spotting is CD1 but actually full flow.

Still no sign of AF for me but I’ve had some weird groin pains & not sleeping. But apart from that literally nothing else anymore, I’m not getting my hopes up x

@Brightspark12 @NW2021 hi both. I've read similar too: that you count CD1 from the first day of proper red flow. I've started spotting before my period kicks in since coming off the pill. First cycle was for five days (!) second one only. But my first flow day was followed by a spotting day and then two flow days. Weird!

@NW2021 ps that book sounds interesting! There's such a lot to learn!!

@Nellieee @NW2021 oh I think I’m going to get that it looks really interesting! I have read conflicting opinions but yeah makes sense first day of full flow to be CD1 x

@Brightspark12 it's hard to keep up with what day of the week it is atm, let alone CDs!! 🥴🥴 as long as your spotting isn't for days on end, it'll only change things by a day or two hopefully.

When I bought it we weren’t Ttc but looking back over it last night there’s so much in about fertility & how different it can be, signs throughout your cycle, what’s ‘normal’, what to look out for etc.

Terrible skin which I’m assuming is AF on her way 😬 I keep getting odd pains and cramps. But I have endometriosis and I never know what pain is related to what 😂🙈

Late joining this thread but have been following.

Had laparoscopic surgery in July 2018 for endometriosis. Slight endo was removed. August 2020, came off the pill after being on it for 12 years. Withdrawal bleed early September. Started TTC after period in September. Cycles have ranged from 35 to this month 28. Have been using clear blue last 2 months, 5 days flashing face and then static. Currently 8dpo and have been feeling nausea for last few days, strange feeling in lower pelivic area and tender breast. Wondering when to test?

@LauraDanxx welcome to the thread! Reassuring that you are getting positives on your CB tests- maybe leave it till about 12DPO if you can as most people see positives then

@W8inray still nothing- this is a bit TMI but I felt like I was gonna come on yesterday so I used a tampon and there was the tiniest bit of blood which I assumed was AF hence my post.. I didn’t actually see anything on loo roll etc. Put another one up there now and it’s completely dry! Could be taking a while to get started... boobs still killing x how are you x
