@Marvellouslymadmum wow I bet that is so hard! You must get inundated and females who have never experienced problems with ttc or infertility are so insensitive so will just blurt shit out without even thinking 🤨 you do well to keep sane ♥️ oh well if your cycle is usually 28 days I can see why she'd do that then. Keep us posted.
@Annny27 hey 👋🏾 sorry you think you're out, that sucks! 16day LP is long but still within normal range. Maybe one to bring up should you speak to fertility.
Ah yeah hope so, we should get timeframes on Monday so that we can decide whether we wait or go private. Yeah my ccg say 2 rounds of private is fine before losing your nhs entitlement, so we're thinking if it's a long wait we'll go private in the meantime and have nhs as back up if private doesn't work. No pancakes for me, not that keen on them really. You?
@Loki21 being late and no AF is the worst! Sorry lovely, hope she shows soon! 🤞🏾

AF due Thursday and tonight I've started spotting....thanks body!
Love a pancake so will definitely be indulging tonight especially now the witch is on her way!

Marvellouslymadmum · 16/02/2021 18:05

@Annny27 it's frustrating when you know she's on her way but she takes her own sweet time, happens to me sometimes!

We will be having plenty of pancakes this evening, especially since af arrived - treat for me haha

@notyetamumbuttrying it's very frustrating, doesn't help when one of the biggest names in the industry has had fertility problems but because her hubby's family paid to get her business up and running she now owns a multimillion£ nail product brand and she paid for the best help and ended up pregnant straight away - I've been reluctant to go on any of the pages since. 😒 how did your appointment go?

Marvellouslymadmum · 16/02/2021 18:07

I've just read up on the fsh test and it says online it should be done around cd3 yet my doc is doing it with the cd21 progesterone test 🤔 should I bring this up?

Hayley19835 · 16/02/2021 18:20

@Marvellouslymadmum I'll check my paperwork for what I had done when from when I had mine done I had day 3 and day 21 but due to short cycle I had them on different days if that makes sense xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 16/02/2021 18:25

@Hayley19835 yes that makes sense thank you!

notyetamumbuttrying · 16/02/2021 18:29

@Marvellouslymadmum oh to be rich eh! 🙄 the appointments tomorrow afternoon. I would bring it up. You need to have the correct ones done on the right days or else the results could be skewed! X

OP posts:
Hayley19835 · 16/02/2021 18:48

@Marvellouslymadmum so I had FSH and LH done on day 3 got abnormal results so had them repeated on day 2 and they were normal. I had progesterone on day 17 as it should be 7 days before your expected period starts. So day 21 is if you have a 28day cycle. Hope this helps xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 16/02/2021 18:53

@notyetamumbuttrying yes, if only! @Hayley19835 thank you, I'm not sure if I should ring the doc back and ask her to re book those ones in for day 3 or wait for the result of this one and get her to book another

kerrym87 · 16/02/2021 22:03

So I got a call while on the most manic shift (picked it up in my break which I actually got) my hospital has a cancellation at private hospital for my hysteroscopy and hysterosalpinogram....downside is because it's been outsourced to private I have to isolate 14 days beforehand so from 26th Feb! If it was NHS would have been 2 days......however, I decided to go for it so I can get tests done otherwise no idea when I'd get it done.
Its happened when I decided to apply for promotion when it comes out next week (sister/nurse in charge) and try to focus on acupuncture, self care and taking some charge of my eating as ttc was consuming me. Not sure if it helps others but reassessing my worries on paper and how I could address them and finding a new project has really helped me suddenly get some of my sparkle back and feel more in control.

Dogmum13 · 16/02/2021 22:23

Has anyone used the conceive plus applicators? I read people saying there's so much in one tube that you only need half of it but I just used one for the first time and when I squeezed it, it sucked all the air out of it but no lube came out. Then it all seems to come out of the tube in one go on the way out 🤣 I felt like down there was being squeezed into the tube 🤣🤣🤣 People also said it was far too wet and slippery with the whole lot but it didn't feel any different to us. Wondering if I done something wrong lol

Theawkwardblonde · 17/02/2021 07:59

Hey all. Not good news from me I'm afraid. Miscarried last night and now HPT showing as negative. Gutted to be honest but DH is even more devastated. Doesn't get any easier this TTC malarkey.

Crazydoglady123 · 17/02/2021 08:21

@Theawkwardblonde I'm so sorry to read this. Absolutely heart broken for you. The TTC journey is an absolute bitch 😔 Sending you hugs

Dogmum13 · 17/02/2021 08:30

Marvellouslymadmum · 17/02/2021 09:56

@kerrym87 that is good news for you, I'm glad you're feeling better.

@Theawkwardblonde so so sorry for your loss, it's such a horrible part of ttc.

Tofu35 · 17/02/2021 10:09

Oh @theawkwardblonde I'm so sorry to hear this, take care of each other Flowers

Annny27 · 17/02/2021 10:20

@theawkwardblonde I am so so sorry for your loss :( its such a painful experience 💔 sending you lots of love xxx have you been referred to recurrent miscarriage?

@Dogmum13 I havent used conceive plus applicators but I have used preseed ones and we only used a tiny amount but it was enough to make things more comfortable:)

@notyetamumbuttrying definitely feeling AF coming today - nauseous with cramps. Wish she would just arrive we know she is coming haha!

How much is a round looking like for ivf privately for you? There's an access Fertility package for 9k or so that I was looking at

@hayley19835 sorry that AF looks like its on the way :(

@marvellouslymadmum yes deffo sweet pancakes for AF arrival!

@kerrym87 thats good that its booked in! Rubbish about the isolation but will be worth it :) yes I'd effort find a project keeps me going!

kerrym87 · 17/02/2021 11:01

@Theawkwardblonde I'm really sorry to hear that my friend had recurrent miscarriages and they started her on low dose aspirin and gave her progesterone medication (I think tablets and suppositories) which seemed to do the trick, might be worth asking about that? Xxx sending hugs

Hayley19835 · 17/02/2021 11:14

@Annny27 it's made a full appearance this morning....big sigh. Not really sure what I was expecting to be honest. Onwards we go xx

Motherofkittens28 · 17/02/2021 11:36

@Theawkwardblonde so so sorry to hear this, you poor thing, I hope you are taking care of yourself.

@Annny27 I'm not doing anything relaxing really, I did try to find another acupuncturist but they were booked up and our local reflexology clinic is open but not allowed to do fertility reflexology because of lockdown. I'm sticking with baths, apparently the heat is good to help develop the eggs before egg collection.

@kerrym87 pleased for you ♥️
@Dogmum13 not used that one before, used preseed a few times and you don't need a lot at all.
@Theawkwardblonde I said on your other thread but will also say on here too. So sorry to hear! Please take care xx
@Annny27 annoying she's not turned up yet. She might do what mine does and come at 10pm!!
Yeah we saw the 9k access one which we might go for as you get a few goes don't you. Just one round is £5.5k or something and then i think £1.5k for frozen transfers so we might just do that as we're only allowed 2 rounds before we forfeit our nhs round.
@Hayley19835 sorry honey ♥️
@Motherofkittens28 good to know that about heat and baths. Will remember that for when my time rolls round.

Have a call at 3pm today with the reproductive unit at the hospital. Will update you afterwards as I don't really know it's about. Hope everyone's well x
