Girls I'm pulling my hair out atm! I'm cd31 and no sign of AF. Three BFN tests now (last one yesterday). On the Letrozole and Clomid I've been more 28 day cycles but before mine varied between 26-34 days but I usually spot for 4-5 days before. I still feel bloated and getting occasional gripes from my cysts but because they were haemorrhagic cysts we know I ovulated (and released 5 eggs!) this cycle. I'm so fed up....just want AF or a BFP 😩

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/02/2021 12:31

@Crazydoglady123 that sounds like the worst tww! It's so frustrating isn't it when all this happens 😕 hope you get some answers soon!

Theawkwardblonde · 06/02/2021 12:37

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker creased at your "rather have a kitkat" comment 😂😂
Hope everyone is okay. Been manic at work so just catching up with the posts on here.

I've been feeling unwell again following my UTI. I've had a bit blood/light spotting today. I usually spot a couple of days before AF but not due for 5 days so now just say with the worry that my cycles are shortening. Eurgh-why do our bodies do this to us!

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/02/2021 13:33

I'm starting to get rather stressed with these opk strips I'm so glad I've bought cb for next month! So far I've had -
Cd6 43% cd7 10% cd8 77% cd9 31% cd10 20% cd11 0% cd12 33% cd13 42% cd14 9% cd15 25% it makes no sense whatsoever! Also had little to no cm so now I'm wondering if I'm even ovulating at all or if my body is trying but nothing getting there 🤦🏼‍♀️ did someone say vitamin b12 helps with ewcm?

PeanutButterBrownies · 06/02/2021 14:09

@Crazydoglady123 argh that's so frustrating! I hate when that happens :( so disappointing. Hope it resolves itself for you soon!

@Theawkwardblonde oh I'm sorry you've been unwell Sad that's probably what's affecting your cycle, rather than a general change. I hope you're managing to get lots of R&R and feel better soon!

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker agreed that I'd rather have a kitkat! Or a cheeky pimms... Speaking of... one of the benefits of being in the first two weeks of the cycle is worry free drinking right? Grin

Crazydoglady123 · 06/02/2021 14:12

Thanks @Marvellouslymadmum and @PeanutButterBrownies 💗

I totally agree I'd take the Kitkat or a drink! First two weeks drinking is deffo fine!

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/02/2021 16:05

@Narwhal88 such wonderful news hun! So pleased for you, you must be elated knowing it's all getting started now. 🥳 Please keep us posted throughout! I'm hoping I might be able to start with my late March cycle if all appointments go to plan.
@marshwiggle90 of course! Welcome 🤗
Hope the ovulation drugs work! Have they mentioned clomid to you as well yet? I know women tend to go on that to bring on ovulation too.
@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker haha 😂 i'd rather have a Kit Kat too!
@Dogmum13 no experience of them either.
@Tofu35 get your yoga mat out 🧘‍♂️
@Crazydoglady123 how frustrating for you, so sorry hun x

I'm due on tomorrow and bled after sex today so that's me well and truly out! Roll on these appointments!!
AMH & SA 22nd feb
AFC 8th March

@PeanutButterBrownies thanks. Not a clue what's up. Had a single bright red bleed this afternoon (sorry tmi). Very stressed as I'm not due for 5 days. Got a nice nighshitf tonight too to worry about it 😂😂

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/02/2021 16:56

@Theawkwardblonde sorry I missed your post! Sorry to hear you've been suffering and still trooping on with work! If you don't come on full flow it could be IB? 😬🤞🏾

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/02/2021 18:14

Hello ladies,

I am Laura 👋 I am 27 yrs old and we have now been TTC since March 2020, it currently feels like it's never going to happen. My doctor has been helpful and already started the ball rolling with fertility support. I have my OH's SA here to do and get my D21 bloods back Monday - kinda scary really!

I've attached my BBT's this cycle - can anyone tell me if this looks normal?!

TTC 12 months and longer!
notyetamumbuttrying · 06/02/2021 18:30

@laura2093 hi 🙋🏾‍♀️ welcome to this lovely thread! Good investigations are underway, hope all come bk fine. I don't chart but hopefully the others do and can offer advice. Best of luck 🍀

OP posts:
Yutes · 06/02/2021 19:36

Hi @laura2093
Your chart looks ok to me.
Looks like everything is progressing ok so far in terms of appointments. It’s just so hard to stay patient.

laura2093 · 06/02/2021 19:49

Thank you @notyetamumbuttrying @Yutes 👍

It's a long old road this TTC isn't it. I've had to push because I am a little bit too early but... I think you know when something isn't right. At the minute I can't even picture myself pregnant which is so sad. We have never wanted something so much. We are sooo ready for one 😩

Lots of love and baby dust! ❤️❤️

Crazydoglady123 · 07/02/2021 08:58

Morning ladies! Still no sign of AF for me. Last tested with FRER Friday and BFN. Tomorrow we have our virtual open evening with the IVF clinic we're looking at going with. I can't remember whose having IVF on here but wondered if there's any questions you think I need to ask as I'm making a list today ready ☺️

notyetamumbuttrying · 07/02/2021 09:37

@laura2093 I know that feeling well! It's been 17 months of ttc now and plenty of time before hand thinking about it before actually doing it. I went early too, at 11 months so it's good to get the ball rolling ASAP! It turned out to be male factor for us.

@Crazydoglady123 I'll be doing ivf but not had the first meeting yet so will be leaning on you as to what it was like! Have you had all tests done then? Like AMH & AFC scan?

OP posts:
Crazydoglady123 · 07/02/2021 10:13

@notyetamumbuttrying aw exciting! I'm sure my NHS consultant did AMH bloods and they were higher than average for my age. Not sure on scans but I've had a Hycosy with NHS. Will see what they say tomorrow

Tofu35 · 07/02/2021 10:28

Good luck for tomorrow @crazydoglady123. What happens in the virtual meeting? Do they give info and then a Q&A? Is it done in a group or just 1 couple and specialist?

I'm sure others here go through this, but getting to point in my cycle where I'm starting to dread going to the toilet in case I see blood when I wipe. AF due Tuesday but sometimes comes early.
Just want to get to the point where I can do a test! 😖

Crazydoglady123 · 07/02/2021 10:47

@Tofu35 I'm not 100% sure. I think it's a group webinar and you hear about what they offer, pricing etc. Not sure where we go from it though. I'm supposed to be seeing my Nhs consultant for a scan to re evaluate my cysts but have to book on cd1 but late and still no sign of AF. I know the feeling like you say, everytime you go to the loo you expect to see it and it's not there.

Motherofkittens28 · 07/02/2021 11:11

@Crazydoglady123 I went to one of those before I picked my clinic. They basically walked us through the ivf/icsi process and then opened up to question's. I asked lots of questions about success rates for my age when amh is low as that was my main concern. You might want to ask how many scans you are likely to have and whether they have early appointments for these (so you can do them before work) also whether they tend to favour long or short protocols, just some ideas.
For me once we had picked our clinic I had to fill out millions of forms, ha my anta follicle count scan and then had a virtual consultation to discuss treatment plan. This assumes you've already had all your bloods, SA done on the NHS and quite recently, otherwise they will do them again before deciding on treatment. After that it was a matter of phoning them when my new cycle started and then we got going. Hope that is helpful!

Crazydoglady123 · 07/02/2021 11:20

@Motherofkittens28 thank you so much! My main thing is with how I over reacted to the Clomid, is if they are going to closely monitor me as I think I'm going to be a at OHSS risk. All of our tests have been in the second half of 2020 so hopefully they'll be able to use them. I'm sure I've had AMH bloods and mine was good/above average for my age. Also OH two SA on the NHS was taken at this clinic we're going to. Did you look at many clinics and are you having IVF or ICSI? We don't have that many nearby. This is the closet one to us and someone on Mumsnet I've been talking to is there and she looked up a few and went with this one and recommends them. Also being closet OH can also do his collection at home and we can take it with us.

notyetamumbuttrying · 07/02/2021 12:07

@Crazydoglady123 good to hear your AMH is high. AFC is your follicle count so they'll want to do that as well. Let us know how it goes!
@Tofu35 I'm due on today and spotted yesterday. I just know it won't come properly until tonight just to do my head in 😖 so I feel your pain!

OP posts:
Motherofkittens28 · 07/02/2021 14:18

@Crazydoglady123 we considered 3 clinics, we wanted to go with Care Woking originally but there dont offer access fertility packages which we wanted to use (you pay a reduced amount for multiple cycles up front, a gamble but much cheaper if you aren't successful first time) we then picked our clinic due to location and slightly price (2k cheaper than the other one). All clinics were rated on theduff.co.uk/best-ivf-fertility-clinics-private-uk/#southeast so we felt they should all be offering a good service. Ironically covid closed the clinic 20mins from us so now its a 50min drive to each appointment!
I have my worries though because after we had paid and were all signed up I mentioned which clinic we were using to my acupuncturist and she told me not to go with them as 3 years ago they weren't very good, she then refused to keep treating me if I had my ivf through them. It really upset me and I thought it was super unprofessional of her. Weve carried on regardless, I just dont have acupuncture anymore!

Theawkwardblonde · 07/02/2021 17:13

Eurgh well my early spotting (5days) appears to be AF a whopping 3/4 days early. FML 😂😂
Still feel sick as a dog too and on another night shift tonight.
