@notyetamumbuttrying I think I have endo as well on top of the adenomyosis. When I asked the fertility consultant about possible endo months ago she said she wouldn't want to do a lap as it is surgery and the fertility treatment for endo is ivf anyway! I honestly think she just wanted to refer me for ivf to just get rid of me. So to investigate it now I would have to get referred to gynae and then they would probably not do anything as even though I get bad pain around my period I don't think it's bad enough for them to do a lap. Plus I couldn't have a lap and ivf at the same time.

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker oh god I hope that is not the case I can barely cope with every other day now 😂 twice a day?! When do you find the time unless you're on holiday!?

Oh no *@notyetamumbuttrying* but maybe the fertility clinic is the best way to get the procedure done quickly? Just really emphasize your symptoms.

My husband has been seen by a Urologist, suspected Variceole. The Urologist also said we'd been having sex too few times 🤦‍♀God help me! He said twice a day at the time of ovulation is 👌 despite his SA being on the lower side. Apparently new research says the second 'load' within 1-3 hrs is the most potent. Report here...

We conceived when we did it every day close to ovulation but there's not chance twice a day. Unless its insemination as I cba to have sex once never mind twice haha

Do we have to do the abstaining and then the double? What a faff! although maybe this system wouldn't work for women, should we tell our partners to go solo for the first and then find us for the second? 😂

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker yeah probably! Ooh interesting about the urologist and the increased sex! Ours didn't tell us that. Interesting study too, will show Dh, not that we'd do it anymore anyway. We only did it twice during FW this time round! Not done it since and I'm due on on Sunday 😩 I'll jump him Saturday as I do fancy some! "Sexy as a lamppost" tho 😂
@Narwhal88 this is what has dawned on me too...pretty gutted as my pain is getting worse! Let's hope ivf works and I can just get pregnancy pains instead 😆
@Marvellouslymadmum same here! But it's new research tho so not as founded as the old. Stick to every other day girls or daily if you must. Who has time for twice a day and actually wants it that much anyway 😂 I think my Dh would divorce me lol! He's not as horny as me 😝

@notyetamumbuttrying rhats rubbish about the GP not referring your for endo! But like they say ivf is the fertility treatment for it so fingers crossed! 9 months off of period pain 🙌🙌

I am about 2 or 3 dpo now we dtd about 3 times in fertile week so not too bad!

Now just gonna try not stress :p

@Annny27 yeah 3 times is our usual average so I suppose twice isn't terrible. Our most was 5 times but we were on holiday for 7 days 😂
9 months off of period pain would be bloody heavenly 🙌🏾 and to get a baby at the end of it too, the dream! 🥺
Hope you get through the tww ok, I'm due on on Sunday and have my delightful aches and pains...sex actually helps them apart from the weird uncomfortableness i experience afterwards. God I feel so broken sometimes 😩

😂 No way to more sex!! We’ve already planned to dtd every 3 days this fw as I thought it would be a change from every day or other day and I’m really enjoying it less often! Maybe we’ll try it next month! 😩

Morning all, just checking in. I've now done 7 of my buserelin downregulating injections, no side effects so far but I did get a lump on my leg the other day for a few hours where I think the fluid stayed under the skin for a while before being absorbed. One more week and then I have my scan to see if these have done their job and then I start the stims. I'll keep you all posted! Good luck those in the middle of a cycle xx

Had my day 21 bloods done and just phoned to get results. They said my hormone profile is normal. Does anyone know what that means? 🤔

@Dogmum13 that just means that you ovulated as your progesterone was a normal level :)

@notyetamumbuttrying yep the month we conceived we dtd on cycle 5 and them waited 5 days untoll cycle day 10 then did it cd12 and cd13 (ovulayed cd13). So maaaaaaaybe the big gap made a big difference

@notyetamumbuttrying 😂 I'm the same, twice a day on the odd occasion but not for a few days in a row! He would definitely give up on the ttc if that was the schedule 🤦🏼‍♀️

@marvellouslymadmum this probably makes me very boring but I dont think I have ever had sex twice in a day (well maybe when we were late teens/early 20s) but certainly not since we were serious long term haha

@Annny27 interesting. I just don't see it happening naturally for us ever, even if the sperm does improve as if I do have endo, that could be causing blockages to the egg?!
@Marvellouslymadmum we did it twice on one day once since ttc and that was aggeees ago now. Prob won't happen again anytime soon 😂

@Annny27 I think we have only done it twice in a day a handful of times since we have been together and all those times we have been on holiday 😂

Care fertility called today and my TSH is now 1.3 so we can start IVF 🎉
So this cycle was officially our last natural try before IVF. I will be starting northisterone on 2nd March, egg collection around 29th (my dads birthday) and aim to transfer around 3rd April (my brothers birthday!)
I have the last 2 weeks of March off work anyway which is perfect timing (I kind of did this on purpose hoping we could start on my March cycle 🤣)

Hi everyone, just had a read through the thread and wondered if it'd be ok if I joined in? I've been ttc for nearly two years now (came off the pill May 2019).

Had my first fertility clinic appointment in Dec 2020 and got it confirmed that I have PCOS which wasn't really a surprise as my cycles are all over the place. Turns out it's likely I don't ovulate by myself at all so they've started me on letrozole this cycle to see if they can get me to ovulate. I'm on CD 11 now and really excited to see if it works, but trying not to get hopes up too high after all this time.

I'm now on Cd28 (32 day cycle) and it's getting to the point where I need to be put in a wee box for a few days- symptom spotting and googling everything is not good for general well-being! Need to start doing yoga so I can become more zen...
