Thank you @PeanutButterBrownies. I actually loved your name when I first saw it, it's brilliant! I have two Dachshunds

Theawkwardblonde · 02/02/2021 10:02

So say manically symptom spotting this morning. Boobs are in agony, bad head, feel sick. Only 5DPO. Definitely need to give my head a shake!

Dogmum13 · 02/02/2021 10:52

@Theawkwardblonde my boobs have actually been much less sore than normal but I'm trying not to hope that means something 🤦‍♀️ every month there is something different 😬

Tofu35 · 02/02/2021 11:23

I definitely think 5DPO is when symptom spitting reaches its hysterical peak. It must be when we get a surge in hormones because every month is the same!

Tofu35 · 02/02/2021 11:23

Spotting not spitting!

kerrym87 · 02/02/2021 12:00

I had very few symptoms in tww which was unusual but AF bang on time yesterday so cd2, sorry for myself today as was at work yesterday and distracted. Want it so much but kinda think what's the point but equally don't want to miss a chance no matter how slim! I domr have any care clinics anywhere near me and getting camera and dye would cost almost 2k privately up here which is a bummer but my CCG gives 3 cycles IVF, has high rates of success whatever method used but I'm getting the wait as they can't even tell me roughly when investigations will be. Turn 34 on thursday so just feel time ticking although I know that's still relatively young, 35 is just rammed at you as when your bits start to shrivel! 😅 know that's not the case but stupid society etc......

Annny27 · 02/02/2021 12:07

Morning ladies :) pretty sure ovulation has happened today or yesterday:) dtd every other day so we'll see if that helps sperm vs the every day we usually do around ovulation.

@kerrym87 thats good your ccg does 3 goes! Mine only does 1 round so we are saving just incase we need ivf!

@tofu35 for me its around 8dpo when I start to get highest progesteron symptoms!

@notyetamumbuttrying I get pain during sex but mines related to vaginismus and a retroverted uterus - tmi but it means anything like doggy hurts as it pushes against my rectum haha!

notyetamumbuttrying · 02/02/2021 13:11

@kerrym87 I'm 35 in March and I feel like I'm about to hit 80 the way these clinic market things! Looking at payment plans and my appointment is two weeks before I turn 35 so I'm hoping I can still get the spring chicken rate!! Sorry about Af, always hurts doesn't it, even when you know it's coming! Can you not get investigations done on the nhs then?
@Annny27 my pain is more afterwards, only sometimes during. Like an unpleasant throbbing pain, like he's still in me but clearly he's not lol! I had a transvaginal scan done and nothing showed so I thought oh well but have since realised that I need a laparoscopy to actually check for it!
Here's hoping your well timed sex has done the trick this month!

@Motherofkittens28 belated birthday wishes! 🎉🎂🎁 Hope you had a lovely day!

@notyetamumbuttrying saw the Care post yesterday, but the plans probably won’t apply for me as I’m reaching the golden oldie age! Luckily our ccg gives one free round up to age 42, so at least I’ve got a chance for that!!

That’s interesting about the pain after sex. Is it related to endo? I sometimes get painful cramping in my womb after orgasm (sorry if tmi!) I haven’t had chance to mention it to GP yet, but thought I really should as it could be to do with something affecting my fertility. 🤔

Dogmum13 · 02/02/2021 14:40

@notyetamumbuttrying I get that pain too

notyetamumbuttrying · 02/02/2021 14:46

@Dogmum13 I'm almost convinced I have endo now! It would make so much about all things...gonna call the gp and see if they'll refer me to gynaecology. I've got a pretty good drs surgery so they should based on inconclusive investigations so far. The scan, my bloods and can blame ttc!
@crazycatlady1981 I really don't know but it makes sense to me. Need to start the ball rolling to see if I have it! Not heard of pain after orgasm, that's interesting and defo worth mentioning!

notyetamumbuttrying · 02/02/2021 14:48

Sense* missed this word out!

OP posts:
Dogmum13 · 02/02/2021 14:50

@notyetamumbuttrying yes definitely get the ball rolling with it all 🙂 my gp told me if I could get pregnant it would really help the endo cause it gives your body a break xx

notyetamumbuttrying · 02/02/2021 15:55

@Dogmum13 have an appointment booked for Friday Grin
Thank you for helping me see that I've probably got this, can't believe I just dismissed it before! I've had pain after sex for years now (over 6 years as think I had it before Dh), and my period pain and pain before has steadily been getting worse as well! I just can't believe it doesn't show on a regular scan, lesson learned x

Dogmum13 · 02/02/2021 16:12

@notyetamumbuttrying let me know how it goes 🙂

kerrym87 · 02/02/2021 18:32

@notyetamumbuttrying I only know about endometriosis as my mam had it so badly and my sister was diagnosed before me so was forewarned (there's a genetic link). I can get the investigations on NHS I'm waiting but they can't tell me how long until I will get it if that makes sense

notyetamumbuttrying · 02/02/2021 18:48

@Dogmum13 yes definitely!
@kerrym87 yeah it does. If they're anything like my area it's likely going to be a long wait. 😬

PeanutButterBrownies · 02/02/2021 19:37

@notyetamumbuttrying Yes!! Peanut butter brownies are the best! Not least because OH doesn't like them so I get them all to myself Grin salted caramel are a very close second but I have to share those ones... Glad to hear you've managed to get an appointment, hope it goes well. It's so great to have somewhere like this to talk about these things, you just don't know what's normal until you talk about it and learn from other people's experiences.

@Crazydoglady123 Awwh lovely, I love dachshunds, they're so sweet! My friend got her second dachshund puppy a few weeks ago, apparently you do need two of them!

notyetamumbuttrying · 02/02/2021 19:46

@PeanutButterBrownies wow that's lucky! Thanks hun. Yeah it really is. God knows how long I would've gone on with just thinking it was bad period pain! Hope you're well?!

Hayley19835 · 02/02/2021 20:04

Hope everyone is ok
Beginning of FW here and I have horrendous sciatica and can barely walk let alone get jiggy with it 🤦🏼‍♀️ why do ours bodies do this too us! x

Tofu35 · 04/02/2021 11:35

Aww @hayley19835 hope you're doing ok!

Husband has his next SA test today, he's really nervous as my tests have all came back okay so far, so he's hoping his motility has improved since the last one. Fingers crossed for him :)

notyetamumbuttrying · 04/02/2021 13:28

@Tofu35 fingers crossed for you hubby! Glad you're all good 😌
@Hayley19835 hope you're ok and managed to get some sessions in?!

I've got the dr ringing me this afternoon rather than tomorrow, so I'll be asking to get referred to gynae for suspected endo.

OP posts:
Tofu35 · 04/02/2021 13:36

Hope your call goes well @notyetamumbuttrying, that'd be a step in the right direction if they agreed to look into this :)

notyetamumbuttrying · 04/02/2021 14:14

@Tofu35 thanks 😊 it really will! Could really do without low lying pain throughout the majority of my cycle! I'm forever popping pills which isn't good. Confused

OP posts:
notyetamumbuttrying · 04/02/2021 15:47

Not long got off the phone with the GP and she wouldn't refer me. She said no as I have my fertility referral soon and all gynae would do is put me on the pill 😂 so I'll just wait to speak to fertility and see if they'll book me in for a laparoscopy I guess 🤷🏾‍♀️
