Has anyone experienced hot flushes post ovulation? I got them last cycle from 7dpo and this cycle they started last night which was 2dpo

@Dogmum13 no, not me. Although I do get more sweaty in the week before AF.

@notyetamumbuttrying I don't even know of hot flushes is the right word. I don't sweat, my body is warm but just nice. My face is like a tomato and burning hot, so hot I have to put ice packs on it but only in the evenings 🙈

@Dogmum13 I get it in tww sometimes and get night sweats x had the duvet on and off 3 times last night!

I've got TTC rage this morning ladies! 🤣🤣

My dear best friend who is pregnant, fell very quickly with a new partner. They've been together nearly a year now, but she fell after a few months. I keep thinking I've been TTC longer than she has been with the new partner.

Anyways, she's lovely but doesn't really understand our struggles. She genuinely said to me "are you sure you're having enough sex? And at the right time?"
What do people think we do when TTC? Just lie in bed together and assume it'll happen? I have to laugh or I'll cry but it really winds me up. We've done the sex every other day, we've done fertile week, SMEP etc. I feel like saying I've had more sex this last year and a half than you'll likely have had in your life. It's physically exhausting!
At beast she didn't ask if it's in the right hole, unlike my mother 😂

@Theawkwardblonde lol that made me chuckle 🤭 oh babe I feel your pain! Ppl just don't get it when it doesn't effect them. They think they're being helpful when all their doing is being knobs! I start saying my Dh's sperm numbers now, that soon shuts them up! 🙊

@theawkwardblonde haha definitely been there! One of our friend couples were boasting at how easy it was (preg first month of trying) and how they didn't know why people struggled. This chat stopped pretty quickly when she started going to NCT and baby groups and must have heard other people's experiences. Had a quiet laugh to myself at the thought of them realising "oh we were lucky, and being knobs to people who are going through issues".

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker sorry to hear AF arrived but glad you're feeling okay about it. My temp has plummeted this morning so I'm expecting it any second now! Also feeling quite okay about it but didn't have any expectations this month. Feels like I'm just waiting for time to pass! Think I'll be having a few drinks this weekend without feeling guilty.

@theawkwardblonde enjoyed reading your mum and friends advice this morning. It's so frustrating isn't it 🙈. Just relax is another one I hate. We told DHs parents we were trying the other day as they always talk about grandkids and we told them DHs SA results (not great). Their advice was relax it'll happen (just kept repeating it about 15x on one call) regretted it straight away. DH was like I don't think they really understood what we told them - nope they did not, relaxing is not our issue!

Seems a lot of people have the friends telling them how to suck eggs basically!

Its like telling someone with diabetes have they tried to relax and maybe their body will produce insulin!!!!!!

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker omg are we the same person! My sister got knocked up twice without even trying as well! The second time she had pcos and was on the pill...she had diarrhoea for a few days so the pill stopped working and she ovulated. She must've had sex before getting sick so her DH has some staying power sperm!! Gosh your sister does sound insensitive, I'm very fortunate that mine is a sweetie and is very sensitive. We're 3 sisters and my older sister is kid free too but would love one but she's single. She's looked into donor sperm!

My friend texted back after I had a bit of a go and was like "I was just checking you're doing right". So tempting to reply and be nope-any hole but the V, but thanks for your concern 😂😂 had a nap to calm down but it hasn't helped!
