So I've read AMH can also be affected by when in your cycle it's tested so I'm not worrying too much just yet and hoping eggs will so be of good quality even if there's less of the little blighters to harvest. AF due tomorrow and no signs what so ever just have an annoying stitch on my left hand side 🤦🏼‍♀️ TTC is just so exhausting! With you all in the effort with making it fun instead of scheduled I keep thinking what's the point it's not going to happen naturally. Must shake this feeling and get back into the swing before we find out when we can start ivf xxx

@RobinRose @Tofu35 @notyetamumbuttrying I can't remember when sex wasn't scheduled! Deffo think lockdown and the last year has affected that. How I long due a few nights away to just be normal and not be thinking I need to pee in an opk before sex 😂😂

@Hayley19835 has your doctor/consultant said anything about low AMH? I ask as mine is lower than should be for my age (7.4 and 29 years) but my consultant wasn't too worried. Just said it's lower than should be but shouldn't affect TTC.

@Theawkwardblonde no not yet due to discuss it at our next apt on 9th of March so will see what they say x

We struggle with same thing too but we've found some insemination rather than did sometimes really takes pressure off and we've managed more of the cycle (as my body shows signs of ovulating about 2 weeks!) And more regular partly to prove to clinic were doing it enough even though I can tell when I'm in luteal phase 🙄🤔

Good news. Checked with my GP and they've put my NHS referral in today for my scans etc (due to the ridiculous costs private).
Lord knows how long it will take 🤷🏼‍♀️ stressed to bits today due to work which is having a bit of an effect on mood TTC etc. I can manage my GAD well usually but tonight I'm having a right wobbler.

@Tofu35 thanks! My consultant said we are in a good position as had all bloods done multiple times and AMH. Still awaiting DH sperm analysis though...been nagging him weeks to get on to his consultant but in typical man fashion he just shrugs and says he will sorts it. He frustrates me so much at times. He's so laid back it sometimes comes across as he's not bothered. I think he's just anxious that he may be the issue.

Wish we could get all these baggy boxered men in their own thread so they could support each other, @theawkwardblonde! Mine is fine with SA tests but it was/is a mission trying to get him to do regular exercise.

Although he did make me laugh when he said he had to go to the hospital toilet for one of the tests, and it was blue lit "worst wank lighting ever".

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker How are you getting on with the TWW? I can feel my usual pre AF cramps starting up this morning 😩. I've been ok at keeping myself occupied and not thinking too much until now but then pre AF cramps start and it's hard to ignore it!

Anyone else around 2dpo?

@Theawkwardblonde ah glad you finished it but shame you didn't enjoy it. It was the intrigue of who lady whistledown was for me and the hot duke 😂 good to hear you're referral is in hun, making steps forward n all that! Hope your anxiety is a bit better today. It's so tough to manage with a stressful job too. It affects my sleep when it gets really bad!

@Dogmum13 yes! Me exactly, we can be tww buddies although I don't really monitor it anymore due to our low low chances!

@notyetamumbuttrying I don't fancy our chances either tbh but we will see what happens. I don't symptom spot because I've had them all and they meant nothing 🙈 just hate the waiting 😬 I'm waiting for a phone call about my covid jab and I'm worried I'll be in the tww when called 🙈

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker I'm sorry to hear that 😟. Don't write yourself off yet though it could still be too early. I tested a couple of cycles but found the 💔 worse than AF turning up so I try not to test anymore. Although I do have a shorter LP so the wait isn't as long, if it was a full two weeks I probably would be more tempted. At this stage of the TWW I start thinking about what my due date would be which I definitely shouldn't be I just can't seem to help it!

Thank you for the documentary and Cat & Alice recommendations I'll look into those. Think I heard of Cat and Alice during fertility week through the BFN girls. I can't believe your best friend said that - I feel like people sometimes just have no idea what to say! I've told a few of my closest friends and definitely find it best when they just stick to being comforting rather than trying to be helpful by giving (bad) advice/suggestions if they haven't been through anything like it before. I guess that's why it helps to have these groups though.

Ps I admire you for wearing jeans during lockdown can't remember the last time I wore jeans!!

Although mentioned it to husband there and he looked a bit horrified and said "that's a bit close to the bone for me right now". But I'm hoping that because it's rhod gilbert, he might change his mind.

I can't believe your friend has cracked the code, I didn't know all we needed to do was have sex more! That's something only someone who doesn't schedule sex or POAS a lot can confidently say 😂

Hey all, good luck to everyone in the TWW! On the subject of people saying odd things the few people at work I've told about the ivf have all said "congratulations how exciting " which to me is just bizarre! Im sure they mean well but needing to have Ivf is not something I feel warrants congratulations! Im probably just overly sensitive though. I start my downregulating drugs on Saturday, bring on the hot flushes!

@notyetamumbuttrying I was intrigued who lady whistledown was, although I did click on about ep 6/7 who it was. Visually it was nice-lots of fancy costumes! Anxiety is a bigger-it's definitely work too which doesn't help.

I'm still awaiting positive opk-should be ovulating soon judging by my cramps.

I'm 26 days post miscarriage no.4. Felt off this morning and just thought it's period on its way. But had a very slight positive. Frer are due to arrive tomorrow.

You've got to laugh @theawkwardblonde, there's definitely some elements of ridiculousness in what we're all going through just now :)

@notyetamumbuttrying I work with kids and one has Down's Syndrome so technically yes he is very vulnerable but that's not why I'm getting it. I'm getting it cause I'm asthmatic, my partner got his letter too as he's asthmatic as well

I think they will be vaccinating people who work with kids soon though anyway
