Well ladies we made it all of 9 days before needing a new bus, I think I’ve had farts that lasted long, especially when they were in a bag (in blog joke) and now it’s an extra long one...bus, not fart 😜.

We are a chatty bunch it seems and we like to encourage ppl to get involved with our racing car of a TTC bus which can also be a bit of sex education class as well!

It may seem a strange ride here as we’ve got all sorts on our bus (not just the animals). We’ve got long term ticket holders where some of us have been around each other for longer than we care to remember now (so bloody hell some ppl here REALLY are bloody owed a sticky BFP now right??) but cos we love 💓each other and genuinely care about each other we cling together...despite some of us heading of to the infertility clinics, and we’ve got some newbies at the start of their TTC journeys, child number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 18 we don’t care.

Any questions ask away, we LOVE ppl to get involved...we love those who chatter!! We also love a sex toy 😉

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

@vil10 there's always some bloody complication isn't there!!!! Lol

@juno231 watch out for those foxes, pesky little blighters

Just been for a run... A plod may be more accurate. Panicking because I had some crampy pain.. Then I realised I hadn't gone to the loo today shall we say, oh the joys of lots of progesterone 🤣

Justanothercyster · 13/01/2021 13:24

@Vil10 my dh is the same, he's always wanted a house and child before 30 but unfortunately neither are the case as he's turning 30 in Sept :( hopefully one will come true 🤞🏼 it's so hard isn't it. But yes you will have a fab time, I've always wanted to go to Mexico! Where abouts there are you going? Is it a resort?

@Juno231 omg a fox chasing you! Well done for surviving that 😂

@Minster2012 oh dear 😖

lucyrp · 13/01/2021 13:41

@2020mission yeah definitely ! Sometimes I wish I'd gone to uni and others I'm glad I didn't!

@Vil10 I was looking at buying one but not now! Il be getting everything second hand this time though. No point going new! Hopefully!

@Dollybird89 omg you nearly made me throw up. Pea and ham soup is the worst soup ever🤮

Katao · 13/01/2021 14:04

I'm still catching up on this morning's posts but @Vil10 I'm sorry I just laughed at your post! Its January 13th and you have just written off the whole of 2021 😂 calm down and stay positive my dear! This ttc break will hopefully never happen 😉

Katao · 13/01/2021 14:06

@Vil10 Not to mention you are only 4dpo of this cycle yet! I'm visualising BFPs for us both next week 😁🥰

Katao · 13/01/2021 14:33

@Kirky658 aw that's great if telling the parents will help how you feel. Enjoy sharing your good news 🥰
@Juno231 @2020mission you are freaking me out with these wildlife attacks stories 😬😂

Did anyone see Loose Women this afternoon? I caught a bit of it when I was on my lunch break and they were interviewing a woman who had her second baby through surrogacy after being told it was too dangerous to get pregnant again. She used an agency in America because it meant great legal protection. Made me think of you @Minster2012 and your friend being the legal mother until 6 months. The mind boggles.

amy2503 · 13/01/2021 14:35

Can anyone who does opk tests help?? If my peak happened yesterday, and now it's started to drop- does that mean ovulation has been and gone? Or could it still be happening although my LH has started dropping? Basically do I still have a chance to get pregnant tonight after my surge yesterday???

Katao · 13/01/2021 14:37

Sorry for replying over numerous posts, I was doing as I caught up on each page, afraid I'd lose a long reply 😂

@Vil10 just saw the 😬 emoji on my last comment to you sorry that was not meant to be there!

Katao · 13/01/2021 14:40

@amy2503 I'm pretty sure you are still in with a good chance. The opks give 24 to 36 hours notice of ovulation from the peak generally so that would probably mean ovulation today

amy2503 · 13/01/2021 14:44

I'm just worried as I've tested today and it's gone back down again... but yesterday was definitely the highest peak... @Katao hey ho I'll give it a shot if OH will lol xxx

@clolo thanks so much xx

Minster2012 · 13/01/2021 15:25

@paintfairy very harsh of DH, we can add him to the list? OMG you should def be first on the IVF list and tell that woman to shut t f up. You will get your baby first

@Vil10 I'm only hypothetically thinking of holidays I v much doubt I will be going abroad any time soon but DH is also a "world is ending" cos pubs aren't open & seeing as he doesn't take holiday for anything other than ACTUAL holiday if we are going somewhere or shooting (cos what's the point spending time at home with us) cos the business needs him then I know he needs things to think of even if they might get cancelled but we won't actually book anything. Nice to dream tho. It doesn't help lots of ppl we know have, like you, got actual holidays booked as something to even dream of.

@Dollybird89 why scared to eat it?? Oooooh for tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻❤️ I had homemade leek & potato soup for lunch, yum! Have you looked at my recipes on the blog? On the forum?

@Kirky658 see, progesterone, sod your HR!

@Katao oooo I might catch up on that, yeah those that can afford go to America, like Tom Daley, cos you are legally the parents straight away. It's sweet, when we said we would have to use surrogacy to get a baby my MIL said "we will help you if you need to go to America we will help you" until I told her "thank you that would be lovely, it's about £250,000 in all" she quickly went "ok so what other options are there, maybe we'll just have to be support instead" I said thank you but don't worry we aren't going to America 🤣😂

@clolo are you going straight into a cycle have they said? Have they mentioned a long or short protocol? I would guess if they are doing it that close to your period then they are checking everything, checking your ovaries and also checking how your lining is looking at that later part of your cycle so that they can determine whether they could start straight away so you might even be given your stimulation drugs to take away with you to make less appointments.
They often get one person to do the scan, then make you go sit somewhere else (or in the reception again of ours) whilst they decide on the protocol and time plan then get you back in with the nurse to go through it. That's how ours was. So that could work timing wise. 🤞🏻

Minster2012 · 13/01/2021 15:32

But if you've not had any scan yet @clolo if may be just a checking scan first and not linked to your period to then do everything else in the mean time & start in March.

@Vil10 I understand your stresses because I would be the same overthinking everything! But tbh I wouldn't worry too much about Zika right now, maybe speak to the GP just so you have some professional advice anyway, but I personally wouldn't want to put TTC on hold for a holiday that could potentially be cancelled anyway. Sorry to be a downer on the holiday dreaming front but the way things are going with covid I don't see travel opening up a huge amount any time soon 😞

Kirky658 · 13/01/2021 15:46

@ltay2 to be honest working in the industry myself, I'm inclined to agree with you. Our MD is forecasting things could return June or July... We are busy moving people for April now that want to amend their hols.

Minster2012 · 13/01/2021 16:16

@clolo it will be an overall MOT one then and I bet you'll go off March AF because that will give them better planning time I bet. Hopefully short protocol 🤞🏻

OP posts:
Ltay2 · 13/01/2021 16:22

@Kirky658 Such a shame for the industry! I have so many holiday/hotel vouchers stashed away in a drawer just waiting to be used but we know now that we defo aren't going anywhere before baby arrives (April) and won't be going anywhere any time soon after he arrives either so probably almost another year before we can get away 🙈

Minster2012 · 13/01/2021 16:35

@Ltay2 @Kirky658 def don't think it will be this year as I think a lot of ppl will be reticent and a lot of places will require you to have a test or show you've had a vaccine, BUT I think a lot of ppl will also WANT to book something & bugger off so I don't think it will be as horrendous as we think, it a weird one

@clolo yeah def, and most ppl are short protocol anyway so averages would say so 🤞🏻mine are always long cos of my history & drugs

Minster2012 · 13/01/2021 16:36

@clolo exiting though that you've got your first steps 🥰🥳

Kirky658 · 13/01/2021 16:43

@minster2012 @ltay2 yeah definitely, it's a really difficult one. We will just have to see how it all goes over the next couple of months. We won't be going away this year now either 🤣

Ltay2 · 13/01/2021 16:48

@Minster2012 @Kirky658 All of my holiday cancellations were for the UK anyway so I'm quite happy with staying in this country for a long while 😂 planning a log cabin / nature holiday for November when baby will be 6 months. It's one that got cancelled in March right at the beginning of lockdown and we have until Dec 2021 to use it so definitely be different this time around with baby in tow.

Dollybird89 · 13/01/2021 16:49

I've neglected the blog for a few days @minster2012 will go catch up 👍😁 btw I love making leek and potato soup!
