Well ladies we made it all of 9 days before needing a new bus, I think I’ve had farts that lasted long, especially when they were in a bag (in blog joke) and now it’s an extra long one...bus, not fart 😜.

We are a chatty bunch it seems and we like to encourage ppl to get involved with our racing car of a TTC bus which can also be a bit of sex education class as well!

It may seem a strange ride here as we’ve got all sorts on our bus (not just the animals). We’ve got long term ticket holders where some of us have been around each other for longer than we care to remember now (so bloody hell some ppl here REALLY are bloody owed a sticky BFP now right??) but cos we love 💓each other and genuinely care about each other we cling together...despite some of us heading of to the infertility clinics, and we’ve got some newbies at the start of their TTC journeys, child number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 18 we don’t care.

Any questions ask away, we LOVE ppl to get involved...we love those who chatter!! We also love a sex toy 😉

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

@minster2012 he was happy lol tho he's not hubs yet... still waiting on 💍

Think af gotta be due soon now... ordered some frer tests off eBay and I got sent some unknown weird brand or cheapo test... I could seriously join the club to shoot someone right now... anyone need a hitwoman? Feel like a volcano about to erupt! Such a stupid thing to get mad about too

Justanothercyster · 13/01/2021 11:13

@Vil10 ahhh yes I remember. Aw that sucks :( but at least you'll have an absolutely FAB holiday to make lots of happy memories. Especially after all this shit! I'm going to sound like a right hypocrite here, but try not to worry about time, you'll get your BFP one day, and let's hope it's soon! X

2020mission · 13/01/2021 11:18

@Dollybird89 how much were the FRERs you got on eBay? I always stick to amazon when buying them as they are really pretty cheap and with prime they come fast. I've saw them at £15 in boots before 😂 imagine having to pay that! It hurts enough knowing I'm paying £2.50-£3 to ultimately just bin something that also ruins my day (no one likes looking at another BFN haha). The last pack I bought on amazon was a fiver for a pack of 2.

2020mission · 13/01/2021 11:20

@Vil10 ah yeah I thought it was a holiday, that makes sense. You're not in your 30s yet are you? I'm sure you're fine to delay for a little bit and would be worth it to get a well deserved holiday! I haven't been out of Scotland since my trip to Lisbon in July 2019 😭

Vil10 · 13/01/2021 11:20

@Justanothercyster I do keep thinking that, gives us a nice holiday just the two of us before we have babies, and I have plenty of time, Im only 23, but OH will be 31 in June and he's always wanted a child before he turned 30, I know for men age doesn't matter, but I'd love to give him a baby before his birthday!! I guess I'll just have to hope and pray it happens these next few months, if not we have a holiday to look forward to! Thankyou lovely!!X

Vil10 · 13/01/2021 11:22

@2020mission no, I'm 23, 24 in March, so definitely got the time to delay but I just have it in my head that we'd have a baby this year! It's horrible isn't it, I think we all deserve a well needed holiday!!x

Juno231 · 13/01/2021 11:22

@vil10 def skip the 3 month wait when back and get the private tests done! Do a bit more research to get comfortable with it as well cause Mexico has a population of 127m people but only 34 cases of zika! Sounds like you're way more likely to get hit by a car or have your plane crash 🙊

Kirky658 · 13/01/2021 11:23

@vil10 where in Mexico are you going? I used to be a business development executive for a hotel chain out there and used to go to Cancun and the Riviera Maya 4 or 5 times a year! Best advice for the zika is to take extra strong strength deet insect repellent. There are very very few cases of it now, it was more of a big deal a few years back. The resorts also spray the foliage so to try and keep as many mosquitos away as possible xx

Vil10 · 13/01/2021 11:30

@Juno231 I remember you saying about the private tests!! Definitely think I'm going to do that actually! I think I'm going to speak to my gp and see what they think about it all, I would love to carry on trying, as I've checked my app and I'd be ovulating out there, so going off our last holiday in September, there would be plenty of bonking and relaxing so hopefully would make this baby🤞🏼

@Kirky658 we're going to the Royalton Riviera in Cancun! Oooo that job sounds amazing!! That's really good to know Thankyou!! I'm definitely going to do more research!! In your opinion, what would you say is the best thing I do? Trying to consider all options!!c

2020mission · 13/01/2021 11:34

@Vil10 glad to hear you're still in your prime you'll be fine if you have delay a bit but I completely get once you've started trying and feel ready you just don't want to wait any longer!

@lucyrp and you really put me to shame as when I was 23 I had only recently finished my degree and only just started my first graduate job. Before I was just part time in Sainsbury's on checkouts and studying so I was nowhere near ready to start a family 😂 I wish I knew back then how long it takes though I definitely would have prepared myself to start trying sooner if I knew.

Kirky658 · 13/01/2021 11:35

@vil10 sounds a lovely choice, that's down by playa del carmen, there's a big long strip called 5th avenue with loads of bars and shops it's really worth a visit. Oh and the best nightclub come cabaret, called Coco Bongo. To be honest I would still be going even if TTC, because the risk of zika now is so low over there. If you take the proper repellant precautions and try to make sure you wear it ALL DAY not just at night you should be fine. I've been in June, October, September and December and I think September October was the worst month for mozzies because the humidity was so high. What's your doc said xx

Juno231 · 13/01/2021 11:41

@vil10 I'm only saying it cause I don't think I could cope with putting TTC off for 6 months! I was looking into all this stuff when I had my India trip planned in Nov last year as I was freaking out about it then. My Indian friends thought I was insane for even worrying, they'd been there when pregnant and TTC and asked me if I thought all the women in all these Zika countries just gave up on TTC lol. The way I figured is that not only do I have to get bitten by a mosquito, but the odds of it being a zika one is tiny, plus then if it was a zika mosquito - the odds of the baby getting microcephaly is 0.95%. So it's a percentage of a percentage of a percentage. BUT I totally get it if you don't want to take the risk, I just know how tough it would be to wait

Kirky658 · 13/01/2021 11:42

@Vil10 having said that and done some more research, it looks like the advice now is to NOT travel if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Have you spoke to Tui to see if they'll allow you to amend it?

Ha I just realised... The current job I do I work for a large hotel chain that also operates in zika affected areas... I shan't be travelling this year then 🤣

Dollybird89 · 13/01/2021 11:43

@2020mission they were £5 for a pack of 2... complained and got a 50% refund so feeling a bit better. I'd use Amazon but don't got prime anymore

notyetamumbuttrying · 13/01/2021 11:43

@DJmum83 aw that's a shame. Enjoy the chocolate 🍫 I get a lot of pre symptoms too. Was in pain yesterday and cd 1 today isn't too bad at the mo. Tomorrow will be hell! Day 2 is also the worst for me!!
@Justanothercyster thanks 😊yeah defo enjoy it hun x
@Vil10 I love Mexico, spent a month travelling it bk in my early 20's. You'll have a fab time! Defo take note of what @Juno231 said about zika!

lucyrp · 13/01/2021 11:45

@Vil10 I just started looking at prams too yesterday I think I jinxed it 🤣 also I got my BFP at 16 months of TTC 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Kirky658 I was so worried about my rhr which is mostly why I went for the scan. Yes I booked an early scan for 8+4 but was going to cancel it but then checked my rhr later thag day and it was so low so asked if I could move it to the day after which was a Saturday which meant my oh could come with me. I was only 8 weeks but got to see their head and body and little limb buds. Saw a heart beating too! I thought I had nausea from the word go but it was nothing compared to when I hit 6 weeks and then at 6+2 I started throwing up 🤢xx

@2020mission I was saying to someone yesterday in a baby WhatsApp group I'm 23 but feel more like 30 as my life has been non stop since I was about 15! Having morgan at 17 was definitely a life changer too.

Dollybird89 · 13/01/2021 11:48

@vil10 you are aware the zika virus can cause u to become sterile? I would want to risk it if ttc. I'd go after conceiving and having as many kids as I could lol .

Something to make u laugh... sat on sofa with OH and dog just stood up (was laid between us) and farted in his face then walked off 🤣🤣🤣🤣

2020mission · 13/01/2021 11:50

@lucyrp yeah I think going to uni really delays it for a lot of people now. Back in the day when less people went to uni they would start working 16-18 so by their early 20s they'd be settled and ready to start. Completely understand why you feel about 30 having had your first at 17!

Juno231 · 13/01/2021 11:59

@Dollybird89 hahahaha love that!

Another thing to make you laugh that I forgot to tell you about yesterday...

I got chased by a fox down the street! It was following me around the block and when I stupidly grabbed a snack from my grocery bag (I like to sample my crisps on the way home...) the fox appeared next to me from in between two cars. I yelped, said go away and carried on walking - only for the fox to run in front and stop in front of me!! We're talking 2 feet away from me, eyeing up my grocery bag.

I panicked, chucked some crisps at it for distraction and ran home lol! It had no fear though and I guess I was worried it would try and rob me of my grocery bag and perhaps nip me in the process?

London foxes hey...

2020mission · 13/01/2021 12:15

@Juno231 😆 I think I'd have done the same! I had a squirrel run up my leg to go for a chocolate bar I was eating when I was walking home through the park once (no, it wasn't a snickers haha)

Minster2012 · 13/01/2021 12:33

Thank you @InkyPaper I'm the parents thing, it just pushes me further away from them. Like you @Florence13 then, I'm very lucky with my in laws, I don't know why I think my mum can change.
Ah well. Anyways!! Back from dog walking & MASSIVE sheep spotting, trust me they looked huge close up. 🤣

@DJmum83 damn it gutting on the BFN but glad you aren't as sore as you thought

@Franklydear @outback81 errrrrrr yeah I absolutely have days like that!! We alllll should have days like that!

@Kirky658 that's why you need to stay positive lady! Heart rate means f all. Do you see it on the nhs website?? Nope. Would your gp take it as a pregnancy symptom, nope. I won't either. NEXT. 😘

@Juno231 oh god. Let's not think about it.

@Vil10 DH and I had a vague conversation about similar stuff last night, he said he didn't feel he had anything to looks forwards to. No holiday (I reminded him we do have center parcs rearranged again for end of March), no shooting (so he's not taking those days as holiday what a surprise) no where to go and nothing to do. I said well you could always see ivf as to look forwards to, center parcs and he'll we could always book something for summer?? That's how dare night came about but bloody hell it's hard trying to stay positive. I need him to try. He needs me to try. We all gotta try but it's so hard, so I know what you mean. Shit, I didn't have the answer there. Balls 😋🤦🏼‍♀️

@2020mission ahhhh our naivety 🤪

@Justanothercyster ive said the same, sickness is my bodies reaction to most things. And it's really dangerous for me to "be sick" cos of my other surgeries & lack of cortisol. So I'm fucked. Oh well fun and games 😩🤣

@Dollybird89 oooo I think there's a few ppl wanting a hot woman right now! And glad OH was happy! Apologies! Are you gonna piss on them anyway??

Coco bongo now that sounds like somewhere the whole bus should go to 🤣😂❤️🙌🏻💃🏼👯‍♀️

Wait...@Juno231 you got chased by a fox??? Were you having an illegal picnic?? Sounds like it. They did you a favour. Stopped a fine I think
@2020mission a snickers ha love that!
Only rats here remember that?!!
Phew!

@TTCAbroad completely agree on the condom front!

All this talk of holidays. If only. I've completely accepted we'll be going nowhere this year. I think zika is the least of your worries @Vil10 and I really wouldn't centre my life around it. However with your age, delaying isn't a concern either.

I was just reading someone moaning about the wait times for ivf because she's 30 with no time left. Well I hope she's behind me in the list. Because 30 or not, I'm 38 this month so she'll have to bloody wait. 🤣 Seriously though- the wait time is a worry for me. But not much I can really do about it?

Still angry today. DH said I need a therapist, a bit harsh? 🤔

Vil10 · 13/01/2021 12:46

@2020mission that's literally the problem, knowing how long it's taking already, the thought of it taking this long when we start trying again is really bothering me!

@Kirky658 we're going with 2 other couples as well, one of them will have an 18month old by then, which is why we had to choose a child friendly one, if it was up to us I would've gone adults only😂 last bit of peace before we had one ourselves!! Yess we deffo want to go to coco bongos!! It's my OH's birthday whilst we're out there so said we'd go for that! Yeah whenever I've researched it it's said the advice is to not go, I haven't spoken to my dr yet, I think I'll call if we haven't conceived by middle of feb! Pissing Zika virus ruining it for us all😂x

@Juno231 you are right in saying that, like all these women in Zika countries, I never thought of it that way!! It's a hard decision, like you say it's so so minimal, but then I just tbink imagine if I was TTC out there and I got bit I'd be like omg that's it Zika😂 I think my best bet is speaking to my dr and going from there!! Thankyou for your info it's really helped!!x

@notyetamumbuttrying ohh I bet that was amazing!! I've been before but OH hasnt!

@lucyrp that's so exciting!! I look at prams and I'm not even pregnant😂 maybe the 16 month mark will be lucky for me!! I just dread starting again in summer and it taking as long as it is this time!

@Dollybird89 no I didn't know that actually!

@Minster2012 that's the thing isn't it, we all need something to look forward to, but I even just keep thinking from the way things are going it could even get cancelled at this rate!! I think IVF and centre parcs are deffo things to look forward to!!

@paintfairy I think I need to do more research and speak to my dr before I come to a definite decision! I know delaying is no issue but after TTC already for now 9 months, I don't particularly want to put it off, especially if it takes this long the second time round

Vil10 · 13/01/2021 12:47

Thankyou everyone though for your info and input, I really appreciate it❤️

Dollybird89 · 13/01/2021 12:57

@minster2012 think I'll prob do one tomorrow..
God I just had pea and ham soup.... it scared me to eat it because it looked so vile... tasted good after I made OH try a bit first!
