2020 was a bit of a TWATFACE for us
2021...is surely EXACTLY the number of babies we are owed by now.

Morning ladies yeah I'm feeling much better today had a good sleep he tried to message this morning but he can get stuffed if he doesn't want to talk like an adult in person then he can stay where he is I don't need that shit. We have been together three years but have known eachorhsr for ten years haha we worked together and were really good friends before I was with my ex we lost contact but got back in touch when I left my ex and things just went from there really. We have an amazing relationship most of the time except from when there's an argument and he acts like a child. He's nearly thirty now and needs to get a grip I have enough with three children I don't need a grown child to have to pick up the mess from😂

@blackcurrantqueen actually you have really reassured me because thinking about it my gp knows my medical history and has referred me for fertility treatment so obviously she doesn't think I'm mad! I hope your appointment goes well.

@Deemama21 glad you are doing ok. Yeah he definitely needs telling very clearly that this is not acceptable behaviour. If things are good otherwise then he just needs to sort himself out and stop being such a drama queen.

Ladies ladies, jaysus you can talk!!! After days of reading, walking through a desert, over hot coals, through a snake pit... I finally made it to the most recent post and nearly cried with relief.
It was all exceptionally entertaining, of course, but I just wanted to get to the end so I can finally join again! (Yes I know a while back I said I would just skip pages if I needed to, but FOMO).

OH back at work now after two-and-a-bit weeks off, so back to reality for all of us. We had such an awesome chrissy/NY/friends' wedding/holiday away... but again I don't want to be the gloating arsehole saying how fab things are when you poor sods are having such a tough time over there 😢😢 massive distance hugs to all xxx

No sense talked into him yet, but baby steps (so to speak). Our relationship was in such a terrible place while I was doing the house, I don't really blame him for wanting to put a hold on it. Now after a few weeks back and fun holidays I'm hoping we'll both be in a better space to start the conversation again soon. We did have a LOT of sex over the last few weeks!
Oh, and I DID get him a butt plug and lube for his bday this weekend!!! 🙌🏼😂🤣 Can't wait for his reaction 😂😂

@Minster2012 I have more jammies and loungewear than I have normal clothes. I already take the entire wardrobe I bought him some clothes box thingys for his for under the bed😂kids are with their dad, he's fucked off it's been quite a relaxing day had the tv to myself it's been bliss😍😂

@Hopeful110 it's too hard to resist isn't it! No harm wasting a few cheapies if it doesn't upset you. Ok my official stance is that no I can't see a line. And stop reading there if you are looking for sense talked into you.....but with the second photo if I turn my brightness way up a tilt my phone a certain way I see a little something but honestly could be indent, evap etc so not my official stance.

@Katao Bit late with the response but just to reassure you regarding the 'are we mad for ttc during a pandemic'.. I absolutely cannot fault the antenatal care I have received so far from all aspects of NHS as well as private scans. I've at no point felt rushed or fobbed off by anyone. I haven't had a baby before to compare it to but I have felt supported throughout and other than there being restrictions on partners attending scans, and some trusts restricting birth partners until in established labour which admittedly is shit, the rest seems like it hasn't much changed as far as I am aware. The downside is of course not having as many in person classes to attend, as well as the social aspect of those classes but there is a lot of online material being provided by a lot of companies for free at the moment which is great for someone like me who would probably be too tight to pay £200+ to learn how to change a nappy anyway 🤣 my only real worries are how fitting it will be if my partner suddenly contracts covid and can't attend the birth (I will be fine, more so gutted for him missing it) and also worried about how I'll feel restricting visiting to my newborn baby (guilty no doubt as I will be being very strict - our parents and our 2 siblings only) as in normal circumstances we'd no doubt have all sorts of friends and family visiting in those first few weeks but also it's probably a blessing in disguise that they can't as it will give us some peace and stop people asking if they can pop round.

@Ltay2 I think you've nailed it there, and most p j know say similar & those that have given birth have actually been happy to have OH:DHs around more it's just the pregnancy/birth/scan bit that's scary & bits you wish you'd shared but you get over it, & soon as lockdown ends in my area baby groups started up again so that wasn't too bad for new mums. My SIL really panicked but she's found it good. I've just packed up a sensory box for her today with their Xmas presents to send to them as they are loving the "box of crap" sensory stuff I sent a bit ago it's giving her valuable shower time!! So there are things ppl can do xx

@Vil10 I get that and have had cysts show up on scans, I think the sharp pin is then bursting, and the ache is the build up. I hope it's nothing too serious :/ do you have pcos too?

@Jane334 welcome to the crazy crew. I'm 27 and ttc for 16/17 months (pcos and sperm issues). So sorry about your loss :( I can't even imagine. Sometimes it takes a bit longer for some so don't worry yet x

@paintfairy you make some very good points about lockdown, let's hope it's not as bad this year.

@Katao I do worry, but I also remember that we're both basically infertile and laugh when I think about the prospect of getting pregnant 😅 I'm just that desperate now I can't cope with holding it off. If it's this hard with a first child then god knows when/ if I'll ever have a second!

@blackcurrantqueen I haven't to be honest, I'm not really one to take medication or anything and I usually find it doesn't touch it! Spent the whole afternoon using my shakti mat and with the massager on my arse😂

@Justanothercyster maybe that's what it is then cysts?? It would make a lot of sense! I don't have pcos but it has entered my mind, last time I went to the doctor he said he doesn't think I do, but I suppose this scan will show if I do, I'm hoping it's just a few random cysts that go away on their own, but for all I know it could be a reason for why I haven't conceived yet!x

@jane334 I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I also has a MMC in Sept/Oct which we found out at 11wks. I hear you hunny, it's truly heart breaking. I can't remember who said this now but your baby knew it was loved. I believe my baby knew how loved it was & how much it was wanted. I was actually feeling really reflective last week about 2020 and so many people talking about how shit this year was (and it really was) but although it was the year I miscarried it was also the year I conceived and carried my little cherry for 11wks. And I can't be mad about that. Those weeks brought me & DH such happiness and excitement and although it didn't end like we'd hoped, I will always be grateful for those happy months of 2020 💕
