Thought I'd kick this off...

CD 7 for me following 2nd mc 🤦🏼‍♀️ Ready to kick the new year off with a bang (not literally, sorry husband), and get a blimin bun in the oven already!
Come on ladies, let's get each other through this. BFP's coming our way soon I just know it 😘💪🙌xx

@JeanieJ

Oh no, what makes you feel like you are out? I always think that because my CM continues its normal patterns then I’m out.
Fingers crossed for your BFP on the 12th 🤞

I had 4 sessions on acupuncture last month which was my first time, and it definitely made me feel relaxed and also warmed my hands and feet up, I used to have permanently cold feet. Which has been great. OH very happy I’m not putting cold feet on him in bed anymore. Also my period this time was a lot heavier than it has been before - but it didn’t make a miracle pregnancy happen first month of having. Which I had sort of crazily hoped for. With lockdown being announced I’m going to check if the Dr is still doing it as I think it’s a bit of a grey area...

Oh I’m with you - I never test anymore - at the start I would test but it didn’t really help because it’s not a 100% answer. So I feel like it’s just stressful.

Ahh your BD routine is similar to ours we usually stop for about 3 days and then resume to normal.

Lockdown does have its perks! Completely empathise there - I used to be a teacher and it was draining Monday - Friday, our sex life back then took a real hit. Do you ever have sex in the morning?

@sunshineandshowers3
Mentioned that morning sex is great as sperm are more active then xx

Annabelle0852 · 05/01/2021 10:35

Pretty sure I OV yesterday which puts me 1dpo and into the dreaded TWW. 🤯

AF due 18th. Aim is to wait and see (not test) - I'm trying to kid myself that if I don't test then I'm technically still "playing it cool" 😂

I'm 27 and OH is 34. I think he feels his age more than me, even though I keep telling him there is no "clock" for men! TTC #1.

Going to try and distract myself for the next couple weeks - any tips because lockdown doesn't leave much to do but sit and think (and obsess on the Internet!)

JeanieJ · 05/01/2021 10:55

@MiniBaker - I guess I feel out because it all seems 'normal' down there ... but I should be more hopeful :)

That's amazing that the acupuncture warmed you up. I have really cold hands & feet too, so need to wear socks in bed. I'll have to investigate even if it doesn't work for TTC!

We rarely get to have sex in the morning during the week. OH get's up way to early and rushes out the door with no brekkie most days. That might change for the next 2 months now that we're both working from home again.

How's everyone feeling about lockdown 3.0? For me it's same same - the endless wfh cycle, but now I have company during the day.

I'm really not envious of anyone who has little ones at home and are trying to balance work. Thinking of you xx

Tara1711 · 05/01/2021 11:46

@Annabelle0852 it’s the ttw agonising! And lockdown does certainly not help trying to distract yourself! My OH and I are trying to focus on getting fit and healthy this month so I’m hoping to distract myself with that!

Lottiebugz22 · 05/01/2021 12:29

Is that an evap. It's like a shadow. I'm Cd19.

Happy New TTC Bus - Jan 2021 - it's going to be a corker!
Sar1010 · 05/01/2021 12:38

@Tara1711
I was told to look at chemicals as a positive! It’s hard to I know. But I guess it does mean something is happening.

@Annabelle0852 I think I OVd yesterday too. Going to BD today too just to safe have a break tomorrow and dtd once more. Do you feel a shift mentally and in your body when you’ve stopped OV? It’s almost like my libido disappears and my body goes very tired! I think it’s happened every cycle but I’ve only just realised it

SadieSazzle · 05/01/2021 12:53

@Tara1711 @Annabelle0852 @Sar1010 looks like there's a bunch of us OVing around the same time and due AF similar times too - we can help each other through the TWW!
Every month I tell myself I won't symptom spot this time...but I'm naughty and don't listen to my sensible self! You'd think by Cycle 20 I'd have learned my lesson...nope! 🙈

Annabelle0852 · 05/01/2021 12:54

@Lottiebugz22 I don't see it I'm afraid hun but CD19 is still very very early so don't get disheartened! 🤞

SadieSazzle · 05/01/2021 12:57

@Lottiebugz22
I agree with Annabelle0852 - still plenty of time to get a strong line so don't lose hope

Annabelle0852 · 05/01/2021 12:59

@SadieSazzle so glad to have company through all this!

@Sar1010 I have never noticed before but now you mention it... maybe?! Definitely be keeping and eye on the symptoms. I'd never noticed before my boobs being a bit swollen on OV but noticed this time.

We'll be BDing tonight too then relaxing into back as and when we feel like it. Think OH is looking forward to a break! 😂

Between us all (inc @Tara1711 😊) there are a lot of us due similar times... I would like to think statistically it has to be at least one of our lucky cycles?! Exciting times and baby dust to you all!

Annabelle0852 · 05/01/2021 13:02

@Tara1711 So agonising! You make such a good point - OH and I are trying to focus on fit/health this year and keep meaning to get on the exercise (at home) train. Maybe now it's the perfect distraction!

Emc16x · 05/01/2021 13:51

AF visited today!! After being a week late. I hate her. I really thought things were different this time around! Roll on the end of the month when I have my first fertility appointment! Hope you’re all okay! Xx

SophieMorton · 05/01/2021 13:52

Hi everyone
Bit late to the thread...I’m in the TWW, 3 DPO and AF due around 17th. Wanted to join in so I’m not tearing my hair out alone 🙈!

FluffyLittleDragon · 05/01/2021 13:57

@Sar1010 OMG I can relate to that! 😬. Before I'm due I'm always more active & that was happening near the time I had my implant removed. Whereas the end of last week & going into this week I can feel the fatigue overtaking me😴😕. I don't know why I'm feeling the fatigue other than I'm still WFH & it's not always bright outside. It's odd! However we've been focusing on going for our walks during my lunch time & trying to focus on our health. Being stuck indoors, my walks help me feel like I've actually seen daylight!

Tara1711 · 05/01/2021 14:04

@Annabelle0852 I love the idea that statistically it should be one of us this month!

Hopefully working on getting fit and healthy will mean a BFP sooner!

@SophieMorton welcome! There are a few of us due around that time!

FluffyLittleDragon · 05/01/2021 14:06

@SophieMorton, you're not alone 🙃. It seems as though we're all in a similar boat! My implant was removed in Dec 2020 & AF hasn't visited yet. Therefore my cycle is anyone's guess?! 😄🧐🤷🏽‍♀️. Some of the posts from the other members helps & it's great that we're able to cheer each other on 🙌🏽.

I really hope someone may be able to deliver good news & we can celebrate from afar (& socially distanced 😉). We can live vicariously through each other or not 😄 (it's optional) 👍🏽.

SophieMorton · 05/01/2021 14:14

@FluffyLittleDragon
I was about 6 weeks after coming off progesterone pill that I had been on for 18yrs...but since it’s been pretty regular 😅
I’m on second cycle of TTC and been measuring everything since August...it’s been a steep learning curve 😆.

FluffyLittleDragon · 05/01/2021 14:44

@SophieMorton yes I'm learning so much. Please forgive me for being naive.....I didn't know women could track their ovulation with a testing kit! 😲. I use my Fitbit to store my AF cycles so without an implant....my data won't know what to do with itself?! 😂😂. I had the implant in for 11 years & rarely missed AF. If anything, my cycles were beyond "normal" so I referred to them as "my version of normal" 🤷🏽‍♀️.

I'm not sure if I'm alone in this type of thinking.....I'm 32 & 33 next month so sometimes I wonder if I'm even able to conceive even though there has been no medical reason I can't? What if there is something wrong & the implant masked it all these years but I have to wait a year before the Dr will see me? My mind just warps further than it should & I have remind of myself of the now & enjoy it.

SophieMorton · 05/01/2021 14:53

@FluffyLittleDragon I was the same. I’m 35 next month and eo July was the first time Ive been off the pill in 18yrs. No idea if I’m too old or where to start!
My first AF was middle of September. But I started tracking symptoms, temps etc everyday
From august. I was so behind that I did an IC everyday to test for OV as I didn’t realise when you actually ovulated!! How on earth I got to my age without understand or even questioning my own body makes me feel like an idiot! Been far too focused on my career...now I only test for OV on 3 days haha it’s much cheaper.
Since mid Sep my OV occurs 5 days after AF (to the hour regular, I get a surge day before and can physically feel the pains the day after). And AF is regular within about 6 hours. So I’m taking all that as a good sign...but like I say, I was 6 weeks until I had AF and usually that should be taken as a withdrawal bleed rather than period.
Hopefully yours will come soon and you can start understanding it all 🤞🏼

Leonberger · 05/01/2021 15:13

Hi everyone, can I join please?

Struggling this month as AF is just about here. Tested today and negative but really thought this would be it as I got my first positive opk and dtd before, during and after Confused

I’ve been tracking and using opk since May 2020, so must be on cycle 8/coming up to cycle 9 by now. I’ve got no idea why it’s not working. My friend who started TTC at the same time is almost due!

Totally fed up of it now Sad

FluffyLittleDragon · 05/01/2021 15:21

@SophieMorton, I feel the same too however another perspective is that we didn't have the need to have that information about our bodies prior to TTC 🤔. I don't feel I'm at that stage yet to use OPK, I might start after 6 months or so if I'm not PG by then! Sometimes I do think, should I have had children in my 20s when I was in prime? Then I remember that in my 20s, it was about me & my DH 😁. I told my DH that his species are fortunate because they don't have a biological timer 😏.

FluffyLittleDragon · 05/01/2021 15:25

@Leonberger welcome 😊. We're all so different & I'm new to TTC. I'm not how comforting I can be except we're good listeners & I'm sending a virtual hug 🫂.

Leonberger · 05/01/2021 15:31

@FluffyLittleDragon thank you Smile

I’ve held it together most months but this month has been the hardest! It feels like we have been trying forever and still nothing. I know fertility testing won’t be easy to get either with the current situation!

SophieMorton · 05/01/2021 15:38

@FluffyLittleDragon for sure if I’d known in my teens I’d have never gone on the pill or worried so much about getting pregnant! Nm we are here now...I’ve found using opk kits really useful, just for data. At first we didn’t use them to make sure we were dtd (didn’t want the pressure) but now at least I know what happens when and if we don’t fall pg then we can be more concentrated straight away. I just use cheapie ones from internet for now 👍🏼

SophieMorton · 05/01/2021 15:41

@Leonberger all my friends have at least one DC and are due seconds shortly. But it’s given me lots of food for thought watching them, on how I want to do things and I’ve changed my mind a lot, so not all negative!
I’m on cycle 3 & like you, dtd by the book lol...is everything pretty regular for you with OV & AF or any other reasons, except the months passing, to think you might have issues?
