CD 7 for me following 2nd mc 🤦🏼‍♀️ Ready to kick the new year off with a bang (not literally, sorry husband), and get a blimin bun in the oven already!

Are acupuncture places open at the moment? I found reflexology really useful before (I think it's the relaxation and someone to focus on as much as anything) but the place I usually go is closed in lockdown. As if TTC isn't hard enough, lockdown is definitely adding challenges.

@sandsandwiches the lady I went to is still open as it falls under medical but I think some have chosen to close

Hey @SRyellow happy Friday! Hows it going? Temping is ok i do find it hard as I wake up quite a lot in the night as im a terrible sleeper but really trying this month to give it a go! How are you feeling? Yes I am having accupuncture started in October definitely feel it does help to relax me. Hope you are doing good xx

Mine is still neg but started with ewcm today so hopefully il get mine tomorrow or sunday 🤞🏻🤞🏻 get dtd today and tomoz fingers crossed hun xxx

@gracie2307 terrible... I have a horrendous fear of needles and the nurse was so rough I had a panic attack. Glad it's over now anyway. Should get the results by Tuesday or Wednesday 🤞🤞 Hope you're having a good weekend

Oh gosh I'm so sorry @Dogmum13! The main thing is that you got it done but that nurse sounds awful 😔 hope you have had a relaxed evening to compensate. I am not too bad thank you glad it is the weekend! Xx

@gracie2307 yes I was supposed to be studying today but decided to just take it easy and had a Chinese tonight too 😁 arm is still killing me but will hopefully be a bit better tomorrow xx

I think I've missed my peak ☹️ this journey is so hard isn't it!! With my father in law here it's seemed impossible to DTD!! We DTD on the 23rd but that was a week before my peek so I feel like I'm completely out this month.

Kind of feel relieved that I'm not going to drive myself crazy this month but also feel like it's so much time wasted.

My OH is so much more chilled about the process as I am and he doesn't really seem the issue with a missed month but it feels like such a time waster for me 😩

Does anyone else have this with their partner? I'm only 24 so I feel like I've got time but equally we have been trying for 14 months now and nothing.
My OH is 29 in Feb and only has one testical so don't know if that's going to make it harder for us.

Sorry for the rant ladies!! It definitely helps to gets it off your chest.

Hi @gracie2307 how are you? I'm not brilliant atm tbh. Super busy and stressful week and it ended with being told at 6pm yesterday that interviews for redundancy will be Monday and will be 'competency' based, so I.e using a STAR method of assessment which has got me really panicked. I work in advertising and haven't ever had to do that sort of interview in my 15yr career so now I'm freaking out, couldn't sleep etc. I'm also really annoyed at how late they confirmed things as I've got a 4yr old so weekends (when he's home rather than at nursery) are the hardest time for me to prep! 🙄😬 I was feeling ok about things up until now but I just feel a bit like the rug has been pulled out beneath me again. I know I'll feel better when I've prepped but just feeling anxious and sick right now 😞
ANYWAY, it's refreshing to not be thinking about ttc for once! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 Really heavy period atm so will be pleased when that's gone. Should be pretty much over by Monday so that's one good thing at least. How's it all going for you? I've not got around to starting the Feb bus yet - has anyone else? Otherwise I'm happy to kick it off today xx

Yes dont worry , your only 24 so you have time to and enjoy when you can but does sound hard having your father in law there too you may have to organise a hotel room next time or a night or 2 away after lockdown if restrictions permit? Are you defo sure you missed your peak? What day are you on? Xx

Hi @BubsNumber2inTheMaking I'm so sorry to hear about your work 😔 that must be really difficult at the moment. I work in marcomms and advertising too so I can relate. Wishing you all the luck for Monday, its the anticipation that's the worst thing but just prep all that you can and with your experience you will have plenty of examples for the STAR competency. I am ok thanks im cd14 today havent had my peak yet but should be tomorrow fingers crossed! I dont think anyone else has started a Feb bus but wanted to double check 🙂 xxx
