10dpo and tested with a frer- nothing. So confusing because for 16 years I've had symptoms of my period 5 days before. This time nothing.

@IndigoJam it's still very early days. Symptoms could be from hormonal changes that happen in your cycle anyway. I have symptoms every month these days which I never had pre-ttc. I'm convinced sperm effects me! Who knows 🤷‍♀️ Keeping fingers crossed for you x

Hi ladies, just thought I'd see how everyone is doing today? Lockdown life is pretty shitty for taking your mind off ttc isn't it?! 😬 So fed up of this journey tonight! Know it's just because I'm tired and my ds has been super challenging this weekend (although you'd think that would put me off having another altogether! 🤣), but oh how I long to be pregs right now 😞 I have very little hope this month which is unlike me as I'm an optimist at heart...just not really feeling it, ovulation was late/weird or didn't happen at all. 🤷‍♀️ Potentially 6dpo today..would ideally wait until next Saturday to test but realistically I know I'll cave by Thursday! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyone else waiting to test this/next week? Xx

Hi thanks for creating this thread, came across it after an emotional day. We've been ttc since Aug 2019 & starting to lose hope but I 'll get my positive head back on & be able to follow other ttc journeys 😊 9dpo for me & ttc first child x

CD3. Had a covid jab yesterday and felt shite all day but perked up now for a glass of rose!! Im on homeschooling duties tomorrow so hopefully il feel better. Im going to get some clear blue opks this time so i know when i ovulate , been going on ewcm last few months but dont know if i just get it on the day i ovulate or day (s) before. I get it for 2 days , didnt get as much this month those post chemical ...... anyway we will see what happens this time. Good luck to you 🤞🏻🤞🏻 xxxx

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking you have been a beacon of positivity for so many of us! But it’s okay to feel low and hopeless. It will certainly pass! I just downloaded expectful which is a ttc meditation app... I can’t really recommend it yet as I haven’t even done one but I’m looking forward to a 15 minute peaceful sesh. It’s worth a shot!

I’ve been toying with the idea of “not trying” in this next cycle? But not really sure how to do that when I know my cycle dates inside out?? The other part of me is thinking “no, don’t waste this month, try harder, use the preseed and take Agnes castor!!”

Is normal durex lube ok to use when ttc? We used conceive plus but didn't seem to help and dried in really quickly lol. If you get the one with applicators does your partner still need lube of some kind for moisture on the outside? 🤣🙈

@MgW1 oh well done on the covid jab! That's exciting and lucky in terms of timing in your cycle. Fingers crossed the side effects are kind to you! Take it easy (well as much as you can whilst homeschooling! 🤪)
My EWCM was non existent this month after chemical last. It's the main reason I'm doubting if I ovulated as I had all the other symptoms but dry as a bone! 😬🤦🏼‍♀️ Thanks for the luck - will definitely take that this month! 🤣🙏

Ahhh, thanks for the sweet message @Sar1010 I'm already feeling brighter today. You're right, we definitely have got this! And when you look at what's currently happening in the world, it definitely gives perspective on ttc. We will get there soon. I know it. 💪
I've done meditation a bit over the past lockdowns - I've got the headspace app - but in truth, not for this lockdown. Will try and pick it up again as I think it can definitely help with quieting the mind on those anxious days.
I totally know what you mean about whether it's possible to 'not try'. For me, it isn't! I 'didn't try' before Christmas...which basically means I drank wine when I wanted to, but still tracked my bbt and did a few opks until positive 🤦🏼‍♀️ it did work, I did get pregs, but it failed. The relaxed attitude is always good, and I do try and be as chilled as I can when ttc, but when you want something so much, it's very difficult to feel like you can just let a month 'slip by' or be left to chance. Realistically though, as you say, we all know our cycles so well now that you'll always be trying really! 🤷‍♀️🤣xxx

@Dogmum13 definitely don't use normal lube. Lots have spermicide in and even if they don't, they stop the swimmers as it's thick and heavy, not like EWCM. We use preeseed just as a normal lube. I don't shove a syringe load up, OH just uses it on himself. And despite the outrageous cost, I don't think we'd ever go back to normal lube as preeseed is just SO much closer to normal CM. X

@Dogmum13 you can get preeseed and another brand (possibly conceive plus, I can't remember the name) from boots if you've got one locally? Enjoy the BD! 😉
Ps. Have you ever done opks all month? I only ask as yesterday I was reading a story about a lady who got two peak opks a month and she was actually ovulating on the later one. Just thought I'd mention!xx

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking I've never done them all month but I have short cycles which would make sense with the early ovulation and I get ewcm and the most horrendous ovulation pains every month on the same day as my peak every time so think it's safe to say I'm definitely ovulating lol. Got my bloods at the end of the month too to confirm 😬 Thank you I'll have a look

I’m slightly apprehensive as I’ve had a range of gyne issues in the past.

@BubsNumber2inTheMaking I had a pain in my left side for 3 days & was convinced it could be implantation so I done a test yesterday (9dpo - BFN) I know it's too soon but couldn't help myself 🤣 will wait for AF now & pray the b**ch doesn't arrive! Yes this journey is definitely a cycle of emotions, but glad I've found this group as I feel no one in day to day life really talks about these struggles 😊 x

AF arrived...lovely start to the week 🙄 oh well, on to month 21! 3 days spotting before she arrived this time which is new for me. That normal for anyone else?

@SadieSazzle I've had spotting for a couple of days the odd time before but not what I'd call normal for me. Normally it's just a day before if I even spot at all. Have you had any testing done? I'm on month 13 and cycle 15 so we are just getting the ball rolling with it now xx

@Dogmum13 I just got my 21 day bloods done last week so just getting the ball rolling here too. Dont know when I get results or what next steps are so will chase up next week if I haven't heard.
Think I must be on about cycle 23 now as cycles are usually about 26 days long. Every month I keep hoping this will be the one but maybe I should start preparing myself for the fact it might just not happen for me...😕

Been using headspace too , on and off for years, but definitely will give the ttc one a go . And yes , what an absolutely nutty journey this is , my head feels like scrambled 🍳’s some days and others I feel hopeful...at least we all understand and have each other .

@SadieSazzle oh sorry AF arrived you, hope are you doing ok? that’s normal for , spotting for a few days before AF arrives , but this month was the opposite for me - she arrived full flow . Really throws you when she doesn’t arrive as expected x
