I felt a bit down about it but il be ok , i have had 3 mc 's in total ( first was 8 yrs ago before my daughter) and never conceived month after. After it happened 8 yrs ago i saw the nurse practiotioner at my gp surgery and she told me to try again and that your super fertile the month after. When it didnt happen , i was so upset!! Thought bloody hell if I cant get pregnant when i am most fertile then I have no hope! Got pregnant the month after so im feeling positive. We are both having a drink this weekend and then my husband is stopping for 2 weeks and then im stopping the 2 weeks after that, hopefully i wont be too far behind you 👍🏻 keep in touch with us wont ya?

Aww it is such a frustrating journey. Noone understands unless they are on it as well. Not helped by the fact that every month feels like an eternity. Are you still working at the moment? You’ve got to keep your mind busy.
I’m ok thanks. Emotionally a bit up and down with anxiety about it all but trying to stay positive. Xx

@PandaFamilyDS yes I know exactly what you mean about being in a state of limbo. As soon as we started trying, through to when I stopped bf my ds, I just didn't feel like my body was mine to do as I please. This time round we've been ttc for a year and that's SUCH a long time to feel that way before I'm even pregs! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Oh well, I'm getting more used to it now and feel a bit more at peace with it. Fingers crossed we all get sticky beans very soon though!🤞🤞🤞

9dpo today and took a test. Very negative. I know its still early but I was hopeful. I havent had a single symptom or pre period symptom that I usually get so I was hopeful. Clearly my body is trying to play tricks on me.

Yes exactly! I didn’t feel like my body was mine until I stopped breastfeeding over a year after my first either. Bless you, that is a long time to feel that way, I really hope you get your BFP soon

My AF still hasn’t arrived cycle day 30 despite having bad cramps all day yesterday so I was sure it was going to. Has anyone experienced this? Painful cramps (as bad, if not worse than AF) but no AF and then got a BFP?

Morning ladies! Think AF is very imminent but using all my brain power to will her away!! Does anyone else do that? 😆 like, if I just try hard enough, maybe I can stop her from arriving! 😂 Pretty sure I'm just a bit mad! 🙈

@PandaFamilyDS YES I did in the middle of the night with my ds. They were so bad I had to use a hot water bottle and remembered thinking something was going terribly wrong. I then stressed the next day when I read you shouldn't use a hot water bottle if you ARE pregs 🤦🏼‍♀️ Got a BFP shortly after. Cramping and dizziness were my only symptoms until 6weeks x

@IndigoJam no AF symptoms either like usual...but another bfn for me and AF due tomo so definitely some tricks going on!

Ahhh it might be a sign then! I can’t remember this before but your reply just got me so excited I did a little run to the sofa to sit down and reply and my boobs felt a little tender haha I don’t want to get my hopes up to much as AF could still arrive but if it doesn’t in a few days I’m going to test!

After yesterday’s faint lines I took 3 tests this morning, but it wasn’t until the clear blue digital said ‘Pregnant 1-2 weeks’ that I believed it! A BFP!!
In total shock as is DH. Just crossing fingers for a sticky baby!

Hey ladies,
Took a test yesterday as I started to get AF cramps and just wanted to know either way. BFN at 12 dpo on a clear blue early test. I guess that makes me out? I feel really really sad about it today and haven’t left my bed yet. I was so sure it would be positive- I had sore boobs (which i don’t get with AF), I had intense dizzy spells, overly exhausted, heartburn... I’m going to have to do the doctors and see what all these symptoms are about?! Could be that there’s something else going on. Anyway just wanted to keep you updated and I guess reach out as I’m feeling so fed up and scarily sad.

@Sar1010 I'm sorry to hear you're feeling blue. I know exactly how you feel. It's rotten. Have you tried a FRER test? When is AF due? Makes sure you take the time you need for yourself. Tomorrow will be better ❤️
After a year of ttc and 2 pregnancies, I've discovered I don't get many symptoms when pregnant and I've had month with LOTS of symptoms when it fails. What I've concluded is that for me, it's just hormones and any symptoms mean bugger all. And knowing that has actually made me feel a bit more chilled about the process. There's just no way of knowing until a positive on that silly test! 🤦🏼‍♀️
After you ovulate, progesterone just goes nuts until your hormones all just drop when you get AF. For me, it's the hormone changes which cause all the problems. I often feel sick first thing in the mornings during the tww, and get light headed easily. I've also had several months where my boobs were absolutely agony - like so painful , hot and engorged that the only other time I've experienced that was when bf my ds...and still negative tests!
I'm not sure if that will offer any comfort but just wanted to say I get it. It's so hard. I've had tests at the docs and that did put my mind at ease (everything came back within normal range), so definitely do get checked if you're worried about anything. Keep the faith 💪 if it's not your month this time, next month very well could be! ❤️xx

Thank you for such a lovely message. It really helps to know I’m not alone. I’ve sobbed and sobbed until I can’t anymore!! I now feel like Im picking myself up again to try again. Onto cycle 10. It was weird because this cycle was the only cycle I’ve had symptoms except cycle 2 when I when I had a chemical. I’ve been counting my cycles since cp and been saying it’s cycle 8 but in reality it’s 10!
I’m going to ring the doctors on Monday, what do I ask for? Does my partner need to call too?

I think I’m going to have a Prosecco tonight. It’s so tough going through this journey when the world is like this... ideally a trip to the cinema with the girls or a dance floor would do the trick. I can’t help think that the stress of covid and constantly being home is effecting our stress levels and therefore making it tricky to conceive. But then again I look around and it seems every Joan, Jill and sally is popping one out 😂

AF arrived this afternoon for me which i’d been expecting as the signs were there and i’d had a BFN. Still it’s always disappointing. onwards to next month!

When you call the doctor you just need to say you're trying to conceive, tracking everything and not having any luck. Are you under 35? If so, say you've been trying a year, if older it only needs to be 6months before they'll investigate. And personally id just say you'd like your bloods checked. They might do a thyroid blood test, otherwise they'll book you in for your CD21day bloods which check progesterone levels. My experience was that they checked me first (2 bloods and a scan), then checked hubby's swimmers, and now they've referred us to the fertility clinic but that'll likely be 3-6months wait. I'm just hoping we conceive naturally before then 🤞🤞🤞xx
