Hi ladies,

Last time I posted I was spotting at 8DPO (usual for me when not pregnant). I got the faintest positive at 9DPO which got darker at 10 and 11DPO. The whole time I’ve been spotting all the colours! It’s mainly been brown but had a red bleed at 10DPO and was convinced AF had started then on 11DPO I had little brown clumpy bits of discharge. I took another test 11DPO in the afternoon and it was lighter (but I’d drank heaps of water). After 2 miscarriages I feel like this isn’t going to end well... I’ve not had a chemical pregnancy before does this sound like that? I had a hcg blood test at 10dpo and will have another at 13dpo so I guess it’s a waiting game. I actually went to the doctors to see if she would test progesterone but she wouldn’t.
@HappyVibes i hope your bleeding turns out to be nothing. So much waiting and stressing!

Pancakes7 · 17/01/2021 07:58

@jec1983 I really hope it's good news for you. Mine were both missed miscarriages so I don't have any experience of a chemical yet. How long do you need to wait for your hcg results?

Pancakes7 · 17/01/2021 08:01

I convinced myself I had tested too early (at 10dpo) with a Clear blue early. I tested today at 12dpo with my clear blue fertility monitor and it's BFN. Annoyingly my last early clear clue test had an error. But I'm accepting that once again it's not my month. I've never tried for this long before. It's horrible. As if the loss isn't bad enough, now struggling to get pregnant on top of that just sucks. Sorry feeling a bit down today. Seeing my pregnant friend tomorrow as well.

NatNoo96 · 17/01/2021 08:56

@HappyVibes we are literally in the same position. I am just over 5 weeks and started having pink discharge last Tuesday. I went to Epu on the Wednesday and had an internal scan and she said things look normal for now. I’m due to go back for a checkup scan the Wednesday after next but I’m still having pink discharge. She said to just assume it’s implantation but I feel like it’s going on for too long. I’ve read online that lots of people experience some sort of spotting on and off between 5-7 weeks and majority of them have healthy pregnancy’s. Hopefully we are in that majority!! 🤞

HappyVibes · 17/01/2021 09:03

Oh thank you @NatNoo96 I really appreciate you sharing that lovely. Did you just ring EPU and ask for a scan after telling them? I think I will call tomorrow. I haven’t had anything overnight/this morning 🤞🏽but my head is all over the place 💓

NatNoo96 · 17/01/2021 09:13

@HappyVibes yeah I had their number from last time so just rang in a panic and asked to come in and they saw me the next day. I had to have an internal scan as that’s the only way they can see anything this early.
It sounds good for you if it’s stopped! Mine comes and goes and is a very light pink discharge when it does come but after last time it puts me very on edge! Just willing the Wednesday after next to come so I can see if it’s ok still.

elsimo · 17/01/2021 09:54

@HappyVibes and @NatNoo96

If it's any help to you bot my mc's started with brown spotting and got heavier never had any light pink xx

HappyVibes · 17/01/2021 10:03

@NatNoo96 oh brilliant, I will do the same tomorrow when they reopen. Fingers crossed for you lovely. It is reassuring for you that the recent scan was all good. I’ve read a forum on here re similar and all advice was extremely reassuring to read, so glad I found it. Thank you @elsimo 💓💓💓

Runnergirl1 · 17/01/2021 10:38

@Bellabubble congratulations.

Sending positive vibes to the ladies who are spotting slightly. I know this can be normal after reading a lot about pregnancy (too much) after what we have all been through it’s easy to think the worst but try and stay positive x

M4v3r1ck · 17/01/2021 13:13

@Bellabubble fab news!!! Keep us posted!!! Here's to a healthy happy pregnancy! 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Sorry to those of you with spotting! As others have said, it's so hard not to worry, but it is a common thing that can happen! Sending lots of positive vibes!!! 😘😘😘

@jec1983 I wish I could advise, are you getting a positive on regular PT?

@bubblybrit he owes you for that!!! 😂😂😂 here's the group link! If there's anyone else 35 and over, please feel free to join! 😍 TTC 35+ Thread 5 Cougar and Silver Fox Club www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/4049041-TTC-35-Thread-5-Cougar-and-Silver-Fox-Club

Happy Sunday ladies! Hope you're all good! 😘

bez91 · 17/01/2021 13:39

Happy Sunday all!

Good vibes to all those with positive PTs and spotting, it is common for some ladies but let us know how you get on 🤗

4dpo today, I had some really weird pinky discharge yesterday that was almost like pink EWCM 🤷‍♀️ too early for implantation, wayyy to early for AF signs. DD3 is having to self isolate up to all of next week following a call from her nursery this morning so I'm sure WFH with a demanding diva will distract me from symptom spotting 🤯🙈

elsimo · 17/01/2021 16:22

Hmm could be promising tho @bez91.
Good luck working from home with the wee one!

I have had another tiny tiny bit of brown spotting today, still one very sore boob and feel bit sick today and super grumpy.

I think i'm pretty much out tho, did an easy at home this morning and it was negative, saving my FRER for just now.

I have never had implantation bleeding before but I have had spotting before my period so more likely to be that I think xx

AnxiousBear · 17/01/2021 16:40

Hey, can I join? I had mmc end September/October. Got my periods back in November and have been trying since. For the last year I’ve had ongoing but mild pelvic pain, which makes me really anxious and adds generally to all my ‘what if I can’t have children’ worries. It’s been narrowed down now either to endo or ibs. I feel really worried that I’m not pregnant again yet already since the mmc but I think my body’s been really out of whack from it.

Sorry to hear that @elisimo I get sick and grumpy just before a period too. If it’s not this month for you I hope it is next month.

@bez91 ooh, could your dates for ovulation be out? I’ve heard you can get implantation from day 5 even if unusual.

elsimo · 17/01/2021 17:39

@AnxiousBear try not to worry, thats not really long at all, just one proper cycle since ur mc ❤️ xx

RichmondLady1981 · 17/01/2021 18:33

@Runnergirl1 gorgeous photo! Congratulations!! Hope school isn’t too stressful!

@Pancakes7 your story is pretty much the same as mine. I had my son in May 2019. Had a miscarriage back in summer and been trying for 6 month. We are due to have IVF either next month or early March depending on one of my husbands test results is back. 2 of my NCT friends are expecting and one has already had a son! She had two babies under two! My AMH was normal in august but came out low in December. Happy to chat.

@RS2609 huge congratulations! X x

RichmondLady1981 · 17/01/2021 18:36

@Bellabubble I’m so chuffed for you. X x x

@HappyVibes... easier said than done but try not to panic. I had a bleed with my now healthy son and it was quite considerable (filled two tampons!!) and he was absolutely perfect. The bleed was at 5 weeks.

HappyVibes · 17/01/2021 18:48

Oh @RichmondLady1981 you’ve always been so helpful and kind. Thank you so much lovely. Had some brown today but no red and still only very light. I will ring EPU tomorrow 💓💓💓

RichmondLady1981 · 17/01/2021 19:58

@HappyVibes brown and light shouldn’t be anything to be worried about my dear. Everything crossed! Keep us posted and will be thinking of you x

Pancakes7 · 17/01/2021 20:25

@RichmondLady1981 that's so similar! 3 if my NCT friends are expecting and 1 has already had a son too! Spooky. Did you have ivf previously? I wish you weren't here but I'm glad you are as it's good to talk to someone who understands.

jec1983 · 17/01/2021 21:12

@Pancakes7 Thanks. I had my first hcg results back they were 13 at 10dpo. My next one is today (Monday-I’m in Oz) and will get results on Tuesday. It’s really sad that that you said you haven’t had a chemical ‘yet’. I said to my husband I had had a stronger line on the PT so hopefully I haven’t miscarried and he added ‘yet’. Losses really change how you think about things. Did you test again? How did meeting your pregnant friend go? I have a couple of friends who are pregnant with a due date a few weeks from my original pregnancy and it’s always hard thinking that could be me. I hope you are feeling more positive and fingers crossed you get your rainbow baby soon.

@M4v3r1ck I haven’t tested on a regular PT yet but I may go and and buy some today. Thanks for the link to the over 35 group. I’m 37 so I think I’ll have a little look.

@bez91 good luck WFH with your diva!

@elsimo did you use your frer to test? You have some promising symptoms but it’s so hard when they are the same as AF symptoms. Why can’t the symptoms just be completely different?? Hope you’re feeling okay.
@AnxiousBear sorry you find yourself here but the ladies in this group are really supportive and I’ve found it really helpful.
@HappyVibes glad to here you’ve just got light brown now. Are you on progesterone pessaries? I’ve heard they can cause irritation and some spotting. Let us know what the EPU say. I hope everything is okay for you.
@RichmondLady1981 did you ever find out what caused your bleed? It’s good to hear success stories with bleeding so thanks for sharing.
@NatNoo96 sorry you’re getting light pink discharge but glad they said everything looks okay. It’s so easy to think the worst when you’ve already experienced a loss. Keep us updated with your scan on Wednesday and I hope time doesn’t go too slow for you. Waiting for scans feels like an eternity!

elsimo · 17/01/2021 21:46

@jec1983 no I used an easy @ home this morning.
I did a frer @ 8dpo and saving the next one now I think.
I know I hate it, it's so confusing.
I'm ok, just be glad when AF here and can't start again xx
