@MSG92 I cried when I saw your scan picture. I'm so happy that all is well - worries unfounded! Enjoy this amazing time xx

MSG92 · 05/01/2021 19:05

@HappyVibes thank you ❤️

@susiebluebell aww that's so sweet! Yes, I will try to. Keeping everything crossed for you all! Keep those BFP's coming. This is a new year, treat it as a fresh start, forget all the previous months you've been ttc, RELAX, look after yourselves and just go with the flow! Baby dust to you all, chin up and soldier on xx

SophW194 · 05/01/2021 19:53

Hey guys sorry I’ve not spoken much on here, I felt really cheeky to be talking about worrying with my bfp when people aren’t in that stage yet but I’ve just gone to the loo and there was very very slight pinkish brown in my cm..I’m panicking now 😢 I’m still very very early so I just don’t know what to think now and don’t know whether to tell hubby or not until I know more 😪 xx

CLSM · 05/01/2021 19:56

@SophW194 my friend had a lot of that colour blood at beginning of pregnancy I think it can be normal especially as it’s very light. I would tell your husband so you have support and maybe contact Early Pregnancy Unit for reassurance? I honestly think you will be ok though. When did you get BFP?

SophW194 · 05/01/2021 20:00

@CLSM I got my bfp last Thursday but I think I was only 8dpo so I think I’m 12dpo now..I haven’t had a period since mc but I’m gonna assume they’d date it as 2 weeks before ovulation so that would make me 3w5d..so I guess the early pregnancy unit would say it’s too early for a scan ? 😣😫 xx

MSG92 · 05/01/2021 20:16

Hi @SophW194 it's too early for a scan, and if you're not bleeding I don't think they'd do anything. Keep an eye, but if your not experiencing any other symptoms such as ongoing pain in the abdomen, and as long as your not actively bleeding I don't think you need to worry. See how it goes tomorrow. Have you done anymore tests as 8dpo is so early?

SophW194 · 05/01/2021 20:22

@MSG92 I’ve had some very light cramps but now I dunno if I’m feeling them more now that I’ve just seen that 😫. Yeah I’ve done easy@homes and frers every morning to see if the line progresses 🙈. This is it which I thought was ok but now I’m really stressing out 😪 xx

I think your latest line looks really good @SophW194 unfortunately I can’t give any personal advice on the bleeding/spotting, but I do think it can be quite common as I believe it can happen around the time AF is due? I think you should maybe tell your husband as either way you’ll probably want or need the support and at least it means you won’t be stressing silently 😊 I think it’s going to be okay, but sending you love anyway ❤️

TheDaydreamBelievers · 05/01/2021 21:40

@SophW194 I had pinkish brown plus cramps at tour stage and things were totally fine at that point. Early cramps and pink ans/or brown spotting is normal

M4v3r1ck · 05/01/2021 21:49

Sorry just quickly catching up everyone! Hope you're all good! 😘

@MSG92 absolutely delighted for you!!! Amazing pic!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍

@PumpkinEverything @bez91 and others, I'm feeling your pain, every time I think this bleeding is going away or maybe changing to AF, it changes yet again! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Unfortunately, I think they said it could be up to 4-6 weeks for things to "normalise"!

@SophW194 I'm so sorry you're stressed! I know some people have bleeding/spotting during pregnancy! As others have said, could you phone early pregnancy unit for advice?

M4v3r1ck · 05/01/2021 21:58

Ps. So so so Sorry if I missed any BFPs or forgot to say hello to anyone new!!! It's been a long day in work!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

PumpkinEverything · 05/01/2021 22:03

It’s so annoying @M4v3r1ck 🤦‍♀️ How many weeks past are you now? I’ve had very minimal brown spotting today but a few cramps again and everytime I go to the bathroom I expect there to be something there, but nope barely anything at all

Simmy20 · 06/01/2021 06:02

Hi again all. I've been in this group before but have not been on in a while. I've had 2 mc - 1 mmc and the other a blighted ovum. I've had some bloods done and I possibly have a low positive reading of antinuclear antibodies. Dr is doing another blood test just to check it wasn't a false positive. Has anyone had this before?

HappyVibes · 06/01/2021 07:38

Morning ladies,

Thank you so much for your squinty eyes on Monday & giving me all the hope & optimism. So so glad I spoke to you all & got the reassurance to start the meds as I now have retested two days later and phew. I’m still only 11DPO, so I’ll keep testing until the test line goes darker than the control.

My gynae said that when I get BFP, because of my history, I can ring EPU & have an early scan before 12wks. Does anyone know when approx this would be? Does anyone know if husbands can now go in with for scans?

Thank you ladies and genuinely if this is my happy ending - as cliche as it sounds - DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE, IT WILL HAPPEN for you 💫 💓💫💓

@HappyVibes CONGRATULATIONS!!! I’m so thrilled for you!! Look at that line!
I’m in a similar position so have been told to book a scan at around 6 weeks (not before then though as they most likely wouldn’t hear the heartbeat).
Wishing you a healthy, happy pregnancy xxx

PumpkinEverything · 06/01/2021 08:04

So pleased for you @HappyVibes definitely a line there now 😊 the EPU told me I could get a scan around the time I had my MMC, so for me it would be 8/9 weeks they said, so I suspect everywhere is around the same? I think husbands are allowed in now unless anything has changed again, but I’m not 100% sure

HappyVibes · 06/01/2021 08:09

Thank you @familybythesea and @PumpkinEverything I think I will just ring EPU once my line is mega progressed, and see when they suggest. I ideally wanna book in ASAP with them, then we will do at least one private before the 12week too.

Oh that’s so reassuring re partners going for scan, I hope it’s still the same - I’ll do some checking today. My husband and I vowed that we can’t do any scans again without one another as that just added so much to the angst of it all, so I do hope it is this 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

Have a beautiful day lovelies 💫💫💫💓💓💓

familybythesea · 06/01/2021 08:12

@SophW194 Congrats on the bfp but sorry to hear you’re feeling stressed. I got my bfp on Thursday too, but have been spotting every day since so I understand your concerns. I don’t know what my outcome will be this time as I’ve had the spotting go both ways - with my DS it was quite heavy and I bled a few times throughout the pregnancy but all was fine. Being honest, I’ve also had it go the other way, but I think my tests were lighter than yours and it was red fresh blood when I spotted.
It’s impossible not to worry, I know that, but there’s still a good chance all will be fine. I hope you can get some rest and take it easy xxx

SophW194 · 06/01/2021 08:14

Congratulations @HappyVibes !!! That’s amazing ! And I think it still depends on the individual hospitals about husbands being there. I live in Wales and Wales said quite early on that hubby’s can be there so when I was needing my scans for my mc I assumed he could come but they said the room they have is too small so he couldn’t come in 😢. So might be worth asking when you book your scan to avoid disappointment xx

susiebluebell · 06/01/2021 08:19

Well look at that line progression @HappyVibes! No need to squint now! 💕😛

@Simmy20 Hi and welcome! I'm afraid i don't have experience of antinuclear antibodies but perhaps others will. Sorry that you find yourself here - again xx

SophW194 · 06/01/2021 08:24

@familybythesea thanks for sharing your experience but I’m sorry you’re having to worry about spotting too ! Are you going to ask for an early scan ? I looked on my hospital’s website and they have quite strict criteria for who they allow and it was even more strict when I was there because of covid so I’m not sure I’d get one 😏 the only thing is my husband’s aunty is my midwife so maybe I can ask her to pull some strings 😅. That’s cute that we got our bfps together, how many dpo are you now ? Xx

chloedancer897 · 06/01/2021 08:25

@HappyVibes what amazing news! Congratulations xo

bez91 · 06/01/2021 08:49

@HappyVibes that's great news - congratulations 😊🥳 I'm pretty certain they said to me last time it will be after 6 weeks for a scan.

Think AF has nearly gone for me, so I'm excited about OPKs arriving today 😆 this is the only excitement lockdown brings x

RichmondLady1981 · 06/01/2021 08:59

Absolutely no squinting from this side @HappyVibes!!!! Whoooohooooooooo!!!!!!!!
Huge huge congratulations!!!!

M4v3r1ck · 06/01/2021 09:10
