@susiebluebell glad it's not just me! Yes, Waiting for it to stop! 🙈😂

@SophW194 I agree with @susiebluebell and I know I'll be the same too with worry! I need regular exercise to keep me sane and the midwife assured me that as long as it was exercise that you're used to, then you're ok! The worry is if you suddenly take up running when you didn't usually! Hope that helps too! 😘

@PumpkinEverything garrr yup that's exactly what I'm having! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hurrah for Christmas Day for you! 😃 Good to know re: longer cycles - thank you! Any idea on what's in it that makes the cycles longer? 🤔

Good luck to the TWW-ers!!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

MSG92 · 01/01/2021 20:42

@SophW194 stretching would not have done anything, please don't think it would have. I used to workout 4-5 times a week, hiit, bodyweight strength training, and was told to carry on as normal, although I've felt to nauseas to workout more than once a week!! There are also pregnancy safe workouts on YouTube etc.

SophW194 · 01/01/2021 20:51

Aw thanks guys that really does help 😘🥰. It’s weird cos as soon as I found out I was pregnant I was really nervous about mc from the start whereas with the others it was more of a background worry that I think every pregnant woman has whereas I was even googling sneezing and whether it harms the baby 😳. And then me and hubby had a little disagreement cos I’d told a couple of friends and he wanted it to be our lil secret and I said ‘it’s different as the woman cos you’re worried about something going wrong so you want someone else to know in case it does’ and then the next morning I woke up and was bleeding ☹️. It’s like I instinctively knew or something..or just that I’m 10 years older than I was when I first ever got pregnant 😅🙈.
Weird as well cos even when I was bleeding before we had it confirmed as a mc my hubby was like ‘well if we tried again and you did get pregnant it would ruin it for you with all the worry it’ll happen again’ and I knew what he meant but now I might be pregnant it’s insane how much I’m worrying. That’s why I’m not going to tell him until next Thursday as that’s when I’m due on so if I haven’t bled by then I might feel better about it and it’s also Ukrainian Xmas that day and I’m half Ukrainian so it’ll be a lil present to him 🤞🏻🙏🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻. Sorry everyone I’m waffling on now but I’ve really found you guys such an amazing help during such a horrible time you’re all such lovely people and I really am hoping for the best for everyone here you all deserve it 🥰😘😘 xx

PumpkinEverything · 01/01/2021 20:56

@M4v3r1ck it’s frustrating, but it’ll stop soon! Just feels like it takes so long. I think from what I read it might be something to do with some of the B vitamins in it, but I’m not 100% on that! When I compared my pregnacare and seven seas boxes it was actually crazy seeing the difference in the two to be honest.

@SophW194 I was like that with my pregnancy too. I spent the whole 9 weeks anxious and worried about miscarriage. Googling everything and wouldn’t let myself get excited and could never let myself think far enough ahead. I do wonder if we just know deep down that early that something is wrong! I so hope it happens for me again soon; and I’m already trying to tell myself now that I’m not to get myself so stressed out next time and let myself enjoy it, as I think all my stress and anxiety wasn’t good for me at all.

RichmondLady1981 · 01/01/2021 21:55

@HappyVibes looks like we are TWW buddies again. I’m also due AF on same day as you.

@susiebluebell been thinking of you. Here’s hoping to this cycle for you! X

HappyVibes · 01/01/2021 22:02

Ah fab @RichmondLady1981 Here’s to hoping that the new year has something magical for us 💫

RichmondLady1981 · 01/01/2021 22:08

@SophW194 congratulations. Try to enjoy this exciting time. :)

@Bellabubble that’s so interesting. Might need to set a few alarms next FW 😛

M4v3r1ck · 01/01/2021 22:18

@MSG92 omg the nausea hit me hard too when I was pregnant! I was having to stop multiple times during body balance at one point! 😂

@SophW194 that's what we're here for, lovely! 😘 The worrying is completely natural and understandable! I guess we can only accept it will be there, and try and manage it as best as we can! 😘

@PumpkinEverything how insane! Will just stick with the regular tablets then! Thanks! 😃 I feel you re: the Googling and not allowing myself to enjoy it! The whole process of TTC then pregnancy is overwhelming - I'm going to try and work towards a "cautiously optimistic" state!

Bellabubble · 01/01/2021 22:19

@RichmondLady1981 I know lol!! I’ve been thinking the same! I’m meant to be getting close to ovulation - so was going to get the alarms set 😉 Although I’m hoping my body isn’t out of whack at the moment - I usually ovulate cd14 or 15 - but all my opks which I started on cd9 have been super low! I got a temp spike yesterday though, so am hoping I didn’t miss it by ovulating really early!

@PumpkinEverything I feel like I have a strong sense about things - like both pregnancies, I wasn’t anxious - I just felt like I couldn’t get excited and kept saying if this if that - and about a week ago, as I was going to sleep, I got such a strong feeling of peace was over me with a sense that I was going to be pregnant very soon and that it would all be fine! We shall see what comes over the next few cycles lol!

@SophW194 there is definitely a faint line on the clear blue! Please don’t blame yourself. If it helps at all with my first miscarriage I was paranoid my 2 year old had caused it as he is quite energetic and had kicked me really hard (by accident!) in my lower abdomen. I mentioned this to the doctor and she said first trimester miscarriages were most likely to be chromosome issues and a toddler kick wouldn’t cause miscarriage . She said it would have to be something like a motorbike accident and even then it would usually only be if you are further on in the pregnancy. My GP also told me there was nothing I had done to cause it. I hope this helps to reassure you!!

@PumpkinEverythingI worry so much I worry about the worrying affecting things!! I was so anxious about my last pregnancy as I knew something wasn’t right (really slow rising hcg, cramping, spotting, measuring over a week behind) but kept getting told it was fine. The day before I miscarried they showed me a heartbeat and she was really excited telling me I had a ‘perfect little pregnancy’. I tried to tell her I didn’t think it was. She must have thought I was crazy!

MSG92 · 01/01/2021 22:34

Ladies, looking for advice, hopefully we have a medical professional in here. I'm almost 12w, scan on Tuesday. Nausea has returned worse than ever, non stop. I never drank enough before I was pregnant, but since I have been I've been drinking more, I'm a lot thirstier, it's probably still less than I'm supposed to but better than before. So today I've had 2 glasses of water, a carton of orange juice and half a glass of Prune juice, and the odd sip of shloer, I keep feeling like I need to pee, and I feel so stretched inside, but when I go, barely anything comes out. I've also had a couple of stab like pains in my lower right back, only a few times in about 1-2 hours and it seems to have subsided. Any ideas? I darent drink too much before bed as I always need to pee in the night, probably haven't drunk as much today as normal...

Garman · 01/01/2021 23:12

@MSG92 could be a uti or kidney infection?

PumpkinEverything · 01/01/2021 23:22

@Bellabubble that’s what I was like too! My husband kept trying to talk about us changing the spare room and what to do with the things in it and I just said we’d cross that bridge when we came to it. I really hope that your feeling is right 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@jec1983 I felt the same. This was my first pregnancy so I’ve had no experience, but I just felt so anxious by my lack of symptoms. All I had was heavy/sore boobs. No sickness and instead of feeling tired I felt like I had more energy which I thought was from giving up caffeine. I had said to my friend (the one person who knew) that my experience made me actually believe how other people could be pregnant and not know for months as apart from being able to see it clearly on the PT and having an early scan, I’d never have thought I was!

@MSG92 sounds a bit like a UTI. Ive had one once and it felt like constantly needing to go to the toilet, even if I had just went, but nothing was coming out and felt like it was becoming an effort to push to make something come out. I think it’s better for you to keep drinking so something at least does come out when you do go, and to help flush your body. Would give the doctor a ring on Monday though if you feel like you can wait without ringing the out of hours.

bez91 · 02/01/2021 08:00

Woke up to AF today (CD32) which was a bit of a surprise, I expected to wait longer. Possible I ovulated whilst still had a faint positive PT. I'm happy it's here, kinda finally marks the end of the MC 😊

Hope everyone is good x

RichmondLady1981 · 02/01/2021 08:39

@bez91 I remember feeling so relieved for AF to return after surgery. You’re right, it means you can ‘move on’ and be excited about your new cycle! 🙌🏻

susiebluebell · 02/01/2021 09:37

[quote RichmondLady1981]@HappyVibes looks like we are TWW buddies again. I’m also due AF on same day as you.

Ah you're so lovely. I hope this is my cycle too - and yours! Xx

Regarding Pregnacare/Seven Seas (was it you @M4v3r1ck who asked?) it was exactly that huge difference in them that's put me off. I just felt I wasn't knowledgeable enough to know what the ingredients would do versus what my body needs supplements of. So I just take folic acid all the time, and evening primrose oil up to ovulation xx

PumpkinEverything · 02/01/2021 10:48

Happy for you @bez91 it’s good you can now start fresh once she’s gone 😊 remind me, would this be a normal length cycle for you?

RS2609 · 02/01/2021 11:08

@MSG92 having had UTI’s before this certainly sounds like one and I know they are meant to be more common in pregnancy. Perhaps contact your midwife for some advice? And definitely stay hydrated!

bez91 · 02/01/2021 11:44

Thanks @PumpkinEverything fingers crossed for you Sunday/Monday I think you were planning to retake your test hopefully for a negative!

Cycle average about 31 days, I say average because they've ranged from 21-43 since coming off the pill in May so this is the first one that seems kind of 'normal'

MSG92 · 02/01/2021 11:57

Thanks @PumpkinEverything and @RS2609 I've had loads of UTI's before, over 10, normally I need to pee all the time and nothing hardly anything comes out, might sting a bit, I've never had this stabbing pain in my back either, I've been for a wee this morning and it was what I would normally expect having not been all night. Got my 12w scan on Tuesday so perhaps I'll mention it then if I'm still getting these pains. Had about 4 or 5 of them this morning as well but they seem to have stopped again 🤞

PumpkinEverything · 02/01/2021 12:12

Oh that’s great then! I’m even happier for you @bez91 (as weird as it sounds as I know that we all want one result!) as it seems your body has hopefully went back to normal 😊 yep, testing for me either tomorrow or Monday. Think I might hold off until Monday as I think if I do need to ring them they won’t be able to do anything tomorrow anyway!

I wonder if it’s maybe a kidney infection @MSG92 I think they sometimes come with back pain! Hopefully if it seems to be okay it’s been nothing, but I would definitely mention it at your appointment and keep drinking liquids 😊

bez91 · 02/01/2021 12:33

@PumpkinEverything that's true and sensible, you don't want to have to have to wait an extra day if there is still a faint line. Keep us updated 🤞🏼

susiebluebell · 02/01/2021 12:54

Ladies I need a bit of cheerleading. My lovely sis-in-law gave birth in the early hours of today and I was fine until my OH (who is over there) sent a photo. I'm trying really hard to be generous and happy for her but I just feel bitter and angry! 😢

I feel guilty for being like this as I know she's had miscarriages too. It's just been really difficult watching her breeze through this pregnancy with no idea that I had a mc. The baby is absolutely beautiful but I'm worried that when I meet her I won't be able to hide my feelings 😔

Hanbanxx · 02/01/2021 13:13

@susiebluebell ahhh that is completely understandable. I would absolutely feel the same way that you do xx
