When TTC feels like a proper TWATFACE, we’ve got each other’s backs. We’ve had trolling TTC charts, f**k boy bodies and a few of us are giving up and handing our bodies to the fertility doctors instead. Maybe they can do a better job eh?

We are TTC in often weird and wonderful ways and that’s the way we like it...long as we are there for each other, be it DTD, SMEP, syringe, IVF we don’t care 🥰

This is my first month trying for no. 2, for my 1st I was incredibly lucky and got my BFP our first month and now have a gorgeous nearly 2 year old, im now inching closer and closer to 40 so feel like it's now or never and there's no way I can be that lucky a second time.

Hardly anything on paper, nothing on pad, I truly hate spotting, every fucking month, no cramps or any symptoms really, it’ll wait till tomorrow and see if starts properly,

The hospital, the appointment it was for was alright, everything pretty much the same, little to worry about, but, the ass of a doctor thinks his spot in hospital was covid and we just tested too early, proceeded to say he shouldn’t be in a hospital and not out for a few more days, that a+e should have tested for covid, quite panicky, I asked if we should test him again and said no, as he is better now, I checked there’s no slots available today anyway, we might not bother really if still contagious surely is worth testing, I bet without symptoms, she didn’t want the responsibility of ordering the test, it must be hard to be that paranoid and working in a hospital

@amy2503 I was a year trying with my 1st before success. Taking longer 2nd time round, think its cycle 16 now but not giving up hope there's been lots of success stories on the bus of people trying a while. Hang on in there, I know it gets harder to stay positive with each passing month and can feel like it's never going to happen but we're all with you.

Nice strong lines there @Luna57. I dont know how you're going to manage to keep it a secret till Christmas it must feel like torture! (Tho a good torture)

Got my blood results back today and all good. Progesterone levels fine, no thyroid problems and no diabetes. Good news that there's nothing wrong with them, but if there was a problem with one of them it would have been an easier fix. Scan next week to have a look at what's going on inside see if it can shed any light.

Also...DH just came back from work with his annual corporate gifts (as in the ones given to him) fir buying lots of machinery for instance... & you can tell we live in the country @blodyn91 you'll like this...we've got a lovely ceramic bottle of something (there is alcohol in it too I've checked I'm guessing sloe gin), I'm claiming that, and DH got a flask. We also got given half a lamb, frozen, in cutlets, shoulder, joint, loin, mince and all 🤣😂😅the irony being I've ordered leg of lamb for our Xmas meal!! So if I'd have known I needn't have bothered (I've paid deposit)

I did a cheapy test this morning and bfn. No pms yet cd23 so given my irregular cycles who knows. App predicting a 27 day cycle, last was 24 🤷‍♀️ think I'll do an frer Christmas eve if no af by then. That should be a solid answer.

We only gave out a few hampers to our top customers this year and instead gave the money to our local food bank & 1000 loo rolls 🤪maybe we should've given them a sheep instead 😬

Is it bad I'm sort of having impostor syndrome about the appointment in Feb? I started the investigations in July as I have family history of early menopause but now I feel bad thinking a referral at cycle 14 is premature or not as important as other people's referrals. Objectively I know I'm being ridiculous but even this has given me anxiety now lol. I guess it doesn't hurt right?

@DKDK123 yeah that's how I feel. At least if they found a problem, you can tackle it or accept it. It frustrates me having no answer. 😞

@Juno231 it's not a one size fits all though is it. They are judging it by your family history as well as how long you have been ttc. Ssme as someone over 35 only has to wait 6 months not a year etc. You are well entitled to your appointment 😘

@Minster2012 I feel that my dissertation would fully give my profession away and make it more obvious who I am so I’m really sorry but don’t want to say. But it’s health related, I’ve interviewed people in depth to explore the lived experiences to see if we can improve the care we provide to them.

@Juno231 not premature at all hun and you never know hopefully you might not need it by then.
