When TTC feels like a proper TWATFACE, we’ve got each other’s backs. We’ve had trolling TTC charts, f**k boy bodies and a few of us are giving up and handing our bodies to the fertility doctors instead. Maybe they can do a better job eh?

We are TTC in often weird and wonderful ways and that’s the way we like it...long as we are there for each other, be it DTD, SMEP, syringe, IVF we don’t care 🥰

Morning everyone.
Last day off work then on for 4 days double shifts could honestly cry but I'll just need to pull up my big girl pants and get on with it.
Tomorrow is supposed to be ovulation day but still not even a faint second line on OPK so I'm guessing I'm going to be later this month.
My clearblue advanced ovulation sticks should be here today so will see what they say.
My chart is also all over the place I'm not getting the best sleep just now, have fallen out with my dad and it's giving me sleepless nights.

How is everybody else doing?

@paintfairy there's a logical explanation for the photo...DH was at work, but came gone for couple of hours as couldn't do anything cos servers were being updated...I had DS asleep in car...postie arrived...DH said well of course try it on then "your arse looks banging" I said I can't see it?! Here I'll show you...and then it actually turned out to be the ONE photo ever I think I look hot in 😂😝that will never be seen by anyone else. Ever. Obviously! I never look good in any other shots as wedding guest or anything FFS. Bloody better have got your blood tests right or shot gun & e coming their way. Not in onesie

! @DJmum83 as above, doesn't usually look that good but I'm pleased atm with body over past year since losing a hit of weight for the ivf last feb I've kept it off. Sorry to hear about your dad, and a lot of work to boot, that could knock your cycle off track? Being stressed?

@notyetamumbuttrying oh I'd love that to be the case! Me and OH are making conscious efforts to have healthier minds in January, I'm going to start reading more instead of scrolling on social media and he's going to come off social media, just a little detox for us both so hopefully being calm and relaxed will help with the whole TTC! So, my friends OH is quite big, height and weight, I'd probably say his bmi is very high, I know he social smokes, and doesn't go to the gym, not sure on the tablets front, my OH isn't taking anything tablets wise but he goes to the gym 6 times a week, he walks for his job, and 4 times a week wakes up early and walks up a hill before work, doesn't smoke, has a really healthy lifestyle so I literally can't knock him for anything! I just take folic acid, and go to the gym 5 times a week, and walk everyday, healthy eating, drink 3 litres of water a day, we're both probably at the best health we've ever been (probs not this month, I'm full on Christmas food and alcohol) so next is to tackle the mind and hopefully that will be the secret for us!!🤞🏼x

@DJmum83 sorry to here about your falling out with your dad, but as @Minster2012 said, that and with work and not sleeping could be affecting your cycle?x

@Minster2012 yeah I think the stress of everything (I have a lot going on) my aunt is under psychiatric care, my dad doesn't have anybody in his life so leans on me and turns up all the time wanting to sit for hours, expects me to jump when he wants something and doesn't give a shit about his grandkids never asks about them, so yesterday I just had enough when he turned up bang on tea time when me and hubby were just sitting down to a nice meal.
My mum has MS and as-well as working full time I help care for her and she is becoming so demanding. I just want to scream and tell them all to leave me alone, I never get any time off as 1 of them always need/ want me.
My mum and my aunt they are not well so I understand but my dad is just so selfish he wasn't in our life growing up picked drink abs women over me and my brother but now he is off the drink and no women will have him I'm meant to have him in my life everyday. He does nothing to help me just sits demanding coffee, so yeah I blew.

Sorry for the rant ladies think I just needed to get that out.
But yeah I think with all this going on and the chemical I'm going to ovulate later.

I have managed to clean the house today and kids actually helped 😱😱
We are now chilling with a film waiting on hubby to come home.

I turned my phone and house phone off and locked the door, we just needed it xx

@DJmum83 that sounds so tough, sorry to hear your having such a rough time. Sometimes you have to do what’s best for yourself for your own health and sanity.

@Vil10 sounds like excellent plans in place! You both sound super fit! We're doing the same re lifestyle in new year. We'll be booze free too! I need to get rid of Christmas weight and lockdown weight so 😂 so I'll be exercising and watching the carbs etc. Need to lower my bmi for ivf as well so that's another incentive!
@DJmum83 sorry you're having such a tough time, rant anytime you need. We're here for all emotions and life's struggles. Hope things improve for you and your family soon x

@DJmum83 I got aunties like that, easier to avoid, now they wonder why they don't see us, even the bait if 'i got something for ds' doesn't entise us ... harder with a parent, I know, but the only solution is distance, I'll let you know when I am available, depending on your attitude, for some people that's never

DH has asked that we keep trying until next Xmas, that way I'll be 44 giving birth, if it doesn't happen, we'll get a cat 🐈 lol, gotta love him sometimes...

@DKDK123 thanks for sharing your journey, I also hate going to doctors, but I think I might just call them once the witch appears and let them know. They still think I'm pregnant since Oct, as I only notified the maternity unit at the hospital of the CP and to cancel the appointment, but didn't call my GP lol I'm 33 TTC #1, so don't think I'll be allowed to cut queues for scans/tests tho...just got to see what they can offer, altho I read somewhere that doctors don't do investigations until it happens 3 or more times

Well other news, a family member we saw a few days ago has tested positive for covid, and we are now to self isolate incase we caught it....no symptoms yet but not sure if it is playing on our mind, we keep thinking 'oh tickly throat!' or 'is that a headache' 😒 well I know I don't have a fever lol my temps dropped this morning!

Think I need to jump on the bandwagon to get fitter in 2021 as well! Put on weight in 2020 when one of my resolutions were to lose weight 😂

Today was lovely no phone calls nothing just me and kids.

So cd14 and low on the clearblue I always have high by now so I'm definitely ovulating later this month.
Just going to DTD every second night and keep testing.

Cannot believe we are saying goodbye to 2020 tomorrow, actually can't wait to see the back of it.

@DJmum83 ok so, New Years resolution...your family come first which includes YOU. Then others can work around that. Fact. 2021 is for you guys. Start saying "no dad it's not a good time I'm afraid, go over to (brothers)" and repeat, "I will see you X AS ARRANGED". Big pants darling. You got it. DTD and enjoy it, it's your year xxx

@DJmum83 my friend always reminds me that you cannot pour from an empty cup, make sure to refill for you too, I am particularly bad at this, bossboy always tells me this too, but he means make sure there's something left for him, I don't think he understood it... I've been good with my food and drink since Sunday now and already lost 1.5kg of pure bloat lol 😅. Tomorrow is a write off though I think with a big NYE meal planned but maybe I'll just skip breakfast and lunch just for damage limitation 🤣.

11dpo today and got my referal letter to infertility clinic today.. waiting on phone call to make appointment... got the urge to test as got a positive feeling but it's gotta be my brain overthinking things. How many dpo do you all wait for to test?
