When TTC feels like a proper TWATFACE, we’ve got each other’s backs. We’ve had trolling TTC charts, f**k boy bodies and a few of us are giving up and handing our bodies to the fertility doctors instead. Maybe they can do a better job eh?

We are TTC in often weird and wonderful ways and that’s the way we like it...long as we are there for each other, be it DTD, SMEP, syringe, IVF we don’t care 🥰

@Minster2012 ooh thank you so much for the tips on the CB monitor, that's really useful. I was thinking of getting an eBay one and then only have to pay for the sticks 🤷🏻‍♀️ still pricey though I can imagine! Especially if you are obsessive like me!

Those people taking down their decs already.. I don't get the obsession with trees going up earlier and coming down earlier (I think we're the only ones in europe who do this? I know the French think we're mad anyway haha). Xmas isn't over until the twelfth night so 6th jan! Mine will stay up until the weekend after NY just before I go back to work, no point in starting the January depression earlier than it needs to be 😂 I am still clearing out the house though in terms of making room for Xmas presents and to feel fresh ready for new year. But also doing that slowly and spending lots of time on the sofa eating the Xmas leftovers and watching Xmas movies/TV. It's heaven.

@Emmgrem mine didn't even get up properly until Christmas eve so I can't really take it down yet. 🤣

@Minster2012 the effort was there though😂 I hate the ice, my car isn't too bad in it but I'm just not a fan of driving when the weathers like this! She took a clear blue and was negative😩 I feel so sorry for her, she said she thinks she ovulated on the 13th and she had the brown discharge on the 21st, which would've made her 8dpo, then she would be 16dpo today, she said she keeps thinking she might be one of those who doesn't show a positive test for a while, so I hope that is the case for her!!

@lucyrp sorry to hear you're feeling rough but it's for a good cause, keep soldiering on!! Are you excited for your first appointment?? I was really hopeful for her but she got a negative😩

@Vil10 oh yes definitely! I am excited but I also know that nothing really exciting happens at it other than it's a step forward so yeah 🙈 oh no really ? That's rubbish 😳

She thinks she ovulated the 13th then had brown discharge on the 21st and now she's 16dpo with no af, so she said she's going to take a clear blue digital on Thursday if she still hasn't started because she keeps hoping she's one of those people who doesn't get a positive early, I really hope that's the case for her!!

Morning ladies! Hope everyone's doing better than I am at remembering what day of the week it is in this fuzzy post-Christmas haze!
@Minster2012 yes! Seven seas purchased and 2 tablets down already. I'm surprised AF hasn't arrived yet (CD28) but my cycles vary from 24-29 days and she's felt nearby for 2 days or so. Did have some brown/pink spotting yesterday evening and trying not to convince myself it's implantation bleeding - got into a right rabbit hole googling that last night!

@Vil10 sorry to hear about your friend, lets hope she is someone who takes longer to get a positive.

Hey ladies. Got af and switched off. It was actually an ok few days. Expected it to be hormone central to be honest.
To be honest I feel like just giving up on try now. If I get a bfp now I'll be 41, every month since my mc has just been heartache. Think I just need a break from it all. Turn rhr on Fitbit off. No opks. Just accept my 1 chance of this has passed. Just wasnt meant to be. Stewing over it every month is just putting a cloud over other things.
Sorry to be doom and gloom over xmas but I feel I need to just draw a line under it. Look after me, my family, enjoy what I do have.
Who knows in a few wks I might feel different. But for now I'm out. I really wish every one ball the luck in the world. This ttc lark isnt easy, be kind to yourself. Those of you here a long time, I take my hat off to you. It's an emotional rollercoaster.

@Sausage1990 it feels weird being happy that someone AF has arrived on here but I'm really glad yours is back so that you can start the new year positively and hopefully have a little long awaited baby in your arms by this time next year.

@Emmgrem I'm a Christmas Dec's down the day after boxing day kinda person 😂 I don't mind putting them up earlier usually the end of the 1st week Dec to build the excitement but once Christmas day is over thats Christmas over in my books I need my house back in order. We got married 28th Dec and I remember it annoying me that the venue couldn't take their Christmas tree down so I hid it behind something as Christmas was finished by then in my eyes 😂

@lucyrp good to hear from you, sorry its a rough pregnancy but at least lots of bad symptoms may be putting your mind a bit more at ease than a lack of symptoms!

I've got my scan this afternoon to see if they can work out why we keep having CPs. Must admit I felt a bit teary about it this morn the thought of going to a scan and not seeing a wee bean on the screen or hearing a heartbeat, just looking at emptiness but that's quickly been replaced by the fear as it was our anniversary last night so we had a few drinks and my stomach feels so gassy today. They said as well as a stomach scan they might need to go up the foof and now all I'm thinking about it what if they shove the probe up and I fart in their face while they're doing it! 🙈 Also worried about left over jizz coming scooshing out as they shove it up, have cleaned so much down there this morn trying to make sure there's nothing left up there that I'm probably going to have upset the pH balance and give myself thrush. At least the random panics are keeping the tears at bay. 😂

@Emmgrem glad it helps. I'm only taking decs down as DH is here to help currently & he's manic in jan plus it gives me something to do with DS, little bits to keep him occupied each day!

@Vil10 oh no for your friend 😔you told her bodies are fuck boys right?! And I don't like driving in the snow. But yesterday was horrendous sheet ice here so we didn't go anywhere we just walked but even walking after 12pm was treacherous

Thanks @Minster2012, Unfortunately due to covid regulations I've got to go on my own which I totally understand. I'm hoping they find something so that it can at least feel like we're moving forward if its something they can fix. I'll be devastated if they say there's no known cause and just to keep trying. Tho the doc did mention IVF might be a route if they don't find anything from the scan so I'll know who to come to for their pearls of wisdom in that area if it comes to it 😊 I've eaten my oreo choc for the first time in months so this is so going to be the successful month anyways I've already decided even if my body hasn't 😂

@blackcurrantqueen hey sorry no BFP, how's tier 4 treating you? I fear we are all heading back into a lockdown but I think we are relatively used to it now 🙄

@DKDK123 yeah surely they've got to do something like refer onto IVF then even if they find nothing as then it'll get put down to unexplained infertility & it's way more common than we realise which is so tough but I know a fair few ppl who have then had IVF successfully as all it needed was a bit of helpful intervention so fingers crossed it keeps the momentum up for you

I do love the way we've got ppl at various stages of various journeys
