When TTC feels like a proper TWATFACE, we’ve got each other’s backs. We’ve had trolling TTC charts, f**k boy bodies and a few of us are giving up and handing our bodies to the fertility doctors instead. Maybe they can do a better job eh?

We are TTC in often weird and wonderful ways and that’s the way we like it...long as we are there for each other, be it DTD, SMEP, syringe, IVF we don’t care 🥰

@Minster2012 - I'm going to be naughty a go to my parents with my sister and nephew. That wasn't the plan, but I've spent enough time on my own. I think if I didn't have the cat, I would of moved back. OH will be away until March at least now, but we think it will be longer.

@Franklydear that thread is brilliant and have to admit I’ve been in a similar scenario when we moved house abs my husband came home early. Luckily the dogs are the best because if it was someone they don’t know they would act very differently.

@Minster2012 you sounds like your having a super productive day. I’ve finished wrapping presents which I consider to be an achievement haha.

Hi All! I've not been on for about 3 weeks and so much on here has happened! Congrats to those with bfps! So happy for you All!

After a cycle of 107 days then a period of 34 days.. think I'm back on the wagon... had cramps and discharge around possible ovulation and dtd every 2nd day that week so I'm holding everything crossed. Also had my Dr call today to tell me she's happy to refer me to fertility clinic... yay!

@Franklydear I agree, so I'm Hampshire and joining the Tier 4 crew on Boxing Day.
NYE dinner cancelled, should have had my haircut, hoping DH can still come to 20 week scan in Jan, already miss my family terribly and now will have to meet with them individually so they can see my bump grow.
All Christmas spirit has left the building.
I totally agree with the decision but it all just feels so shitty

@BlondePotter I am in sussex, not quite sure if the whole county is included, it looks like it, I hope your dh can go to scans
Brothers setting video calls for the elders that don’t have it, we are alone in this country, and weren’t planning to meet friends in the festive period, weather is awful anyway

@Vil10 & @Franklydear you say productive and nice, but DH has just said as he threw his phone across the table "this has been the shittest day ever" as he struggled & got MASSIVE RAGE doing the online consent forms for our IVF after we had to watch several "online modules" and answer questions on them (the frozen transfer process, the ZIKA risks (remember when THAT was the only thing we had to worry about we laughed???) and Covid) before it sent us our forms to do & so his phone went then, coupled with shopping (mostly ordered but just to pick up but a supermarket shop & farm shop) 2 wet dog walks, my hair now screwed, changing bed sheets after child worming and APPARENTLY it's a shit day.

That's life love. That's called getting shit done.
And the ONE PRESENT he's bought to sort Christmas. For me. Hasn't arrived.
Argh.

My roof is leaking. It's pissing down with rain. Everywhere is flooded (outside) and I'm freezing. Things are not going well!

Also- a fb friends wife posted on his page today that he sadly died of a heart attack yesterday. Which upset me as I think it's a bit crappy spending the last year of your life locked in? And for what? I've not seen him in ages but I was sad all the same. I think I'm hormonal (guess that'll be me out this month then!) so that amplified it.

It was actually the strangest thing too. I went upstairs and could smell something weird. DH came out his office and said what's that smell? I was sniffing around and said check the loft too (smelt a bit like burning?). Anyway DH went up and said he can smell it but no idea where its coming from. Mum came not much after (she had been to visit my dads grave and had taken the dog as its near the coast, so dropped him back) and so she looked about. And actually she found the leak! (Men 🙄).
Never worked it what the smell was (don't think it was related), and I haven't really smelled it since? Odd. 👻

@Minster2012 well it didn't smell like water. That's the bonkers thing. And the smell isn't there now. So I don't know what to tell you. 🤣 I've got a dog nose though anyway- don't miss anything! And I'm 10dpo today.
