We are TTC in often weird and wonderful ways and that’s the way we like it...long as we are there for each other, which some of us have been for longer than we care to remember 😜. So whether your glass of half empty, half full, a pint glass, a shot glass (a tic tac container?), a mug of tea, this is where we come to refill it...🥰 Mumsnet is our happy place 🥰

@Runnergirl1 I know and those seven seas tablets must have helped ! The girl who recommended them to me got pregnant on her first cycle taking them and that's why I started using them and now look! I know great Christmas present for my OH🥰

@Juno231 that won't be too hard as I'll probably tell my mum before Christmas as she's coming to ours for Christmas and we only drink Buck's Fizz for Christmas dinner the marks and Spencer special so I'll probably still have a glass of thag maybe 😳

Hope you've all been okay girls, been MIA all week, been super busy in work, I've not had chance to check in 🥺

@lucyrp it actually probably helps more because from now if I don't have any symptoms I won't be too bothered by it😂 if I don't get my BFP this cycle I might start using the seven seas again, I used them last cycle then forgot to order another box so just used normal folic acid!

@Vil10 I defo think they helped shorten my cycle and get my BFP! That's a thing I need to remember is go get some more folic acid ! Does anyone know if I can carry on taking the seven seas when pregnant or should I just take folic acid ?! I threw the box away 😂😂

@Franklydear they're about £4 and they're supposed to just help. Read the reviews online ! Seven seas TTC tablets ' the box is purple. Can get them from a super market or online

@lucyrp they shortened mine by 2 days, but mine had gone to 33 after those northisterone after being a regular 30 dayer, so I just don't want them to shorten them anymore😂 suppose trying them for another few cycles won't make much difference if it only shortens it by 1 or 2 days! I'm not sure if they're okay for during pregnancy, I'd maybe to google it or check the back of the box, I wouldn't want to say and then be wrong!x

@Newbie0818 couldn't agree more with telling the parents! Mine have known from the start as I've always wanted kids so my mum knew we'd start after the wedding. However the in-laws have no clue! Dh wants to tell them about starting ivf on Boxing Day 😬 as it's the next time we'll see them in decent circumstances. Seeing them Monday but only because of Dh's grandma's funeral so not really the time!

Just an update for everyone I was bothering with my LH test sticks- I took your advice @Juno231 and did my second wee instead of first- and it showed up high today!! So I think I'm going to be ovulating soon, I can sigh relief!! Thanks so much for the help guys. I'll keep to updated if I manage to get my peak xxx

@Vil10 hmm, my cycles are already 26-28 days, not sure I want to chance any shorter...

@lucyrp I don't think anyone would be upset by it! To be honest the announcements like yours (and others recently too that have been trying a while) give you hope. Rather than anything else. So I think people are genuinely happy for you because they know how much it means!

How much EPO do I need to take? 🤣

@paintfairy I just bought a pot from sainsburys of 90 tablets and you just take one a day up until ovulation then you stop once you've ovulated ! I hope that's the case I don't want to upset anyone 🙈

@Franklydear I’m currently 9dpo (roughly I think - haven’t tracked this month) and I’ve been taking them so I can let you know over the next few days if they shortened my cycle. Mine is usually 28 days. Not sure they shorten everyone’s cycle I think they can just regulate it and make sure you’re getting everything you need. I have to take prescribed folic acid on top of them from the dr as I’m deficient in it and have been for years (my ones from the dr are equivalent to 12.5 normal folic acid tablets!)

@LaceyMermaid yes, please, I am cd 19, no idea when ovulation was, had an early loss the last cycle so fingers crossed my cycle will be back to normal. Wow on the folic acid, but glad you’re getting what you need
