@Minster2012 here's hoping- I think with everything that's happened this month I won't be too surprised if it's not my month... but there's always that chance!!! Fingers crossed I caught it in time.

We are absolutely fine. Bless him he was so mature and chilled about it all (to be fair that's why I go for an older man lol), he just said "these things happen " and that I'd not upset him and he wasn't upset or anything-
The night before he'd said "it's not the first time and it won't be the last" that upset me a bit because I don't recall it happening with us so it made me doubt myself but he clarified the next day that this was very new for me and him which made me feel better that it wasn't in our relationship 🤣 but I'm glad it was okay last night... I was a bit nervous to be honest that it might not work again because he was worried about the night before but all went well... apart from the dog trying to get involved and barking at us 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

@LaceyMermaid the fever hasn’t got high enough to test again, only got to 38 for about half hour, he was in hospital Sunday night, we are being very cautious, as I am vulnerable and cannot distance from him, his school is doing Christmas jumper day, virtual panto and Xmas dinner with crackers in January again for the year that missed out, they are all so happy.
The virus is a nightmare, you can test negative one day and positive three days later,

@Minster2012 Hiya I'm still here! Yep sister you hit the nail on the head, been massively stressed about pretty much everything. Work is insane at the moment but feel like I can't complain as I have the privilege to work from home flexibly, but the stress and stakes are so high and 'red tape' is drowning me 😩 kids are great to be fair they're amazing (16 DD, 11 DS, 7DD & 3DS) it's just the logistics of managing their schedules that's difficult. Ex and his mistress/now wife are always twats. They want kids off school this week 'just in case' so that Christmas doesn't get ruined if they contract COVID. It's also their year to have the kids Christmas Eve and morning which makes me sad although it's fair. And my OH....we were talking last night about when we first met and I miss him! He was so cheeky and confident (he said he felt like he was punching....I'll agree I'm an absolute delight 😉😂) but now he's paranoid, insecure and so hard to be with. He's still amazing deep down but I feel like I don't have the energy or time to dedicate to sorting him out. I need him to be forthcoming and we can press on and forward together but he's not one of my kids, I'm not goading his problems out of him. So yeah just feeling a bit overwhelmed at the mo xx

@Franklydear yup know that feeling, DH only puts his stuff in calendar not paying attention to the rest but it's a start. Yes I heard from someone else a virtual nativity, WTF??

Just bought a present online. Not even 8am yet. Boom. "The week junior" for besties son. On it. Trying to not buy more stuff online. Word on the street Royal Mail quite busy & a key member of staff at home watching love actually. As punishment they are withholding her parcels ive heard.

Yes that is woolly. First week I only took crochet hooks as they said no knitting needles in security. This week bringing knitting needles as they don't really care. Finished a hat and now doing a shawl for MIL. Socks need more concentration and we keep chatting in the jury room.

@Franklydear glad DS is feeling better. Love that he can pick out the plot holes.

@clolo ahhh I know that well, and my SIL sounds pretty similar picking ME of all ppl to be the person that she had the "oh god what if we can't conceive quickly I would be DEV-A-STATED" conversation with whilst all the time my head was saying "you are fucking kidding me, you do realise who you are talking to you insensitive btch" whilst out loud saying "oh god yeah I mean from ACTUAL experience it's pretty bad" I hope she did it over text so you could have your actual reaction at home to yourself? I'm feeling a bit fed up today. Had my phone appointment with the doctor who very nicely said they won't and can't do anything at all to help me out until March when it's been a year, even though my periods are irregular (like I didn't have one for 3 months). She just said to keep trying and not worry about when my period will turn up. Oh, and to call back in March if nothing happens. She mentioned maybe an ultrasound but then retracted it when she saw in my notes I had one 5 years ago and everything was fine (apparently there's a huge waitlist in my area anyway, with people waiting 6 weeks to get one for a cancer check so it would've been months to wait). So yeah. Bit fed up really.

@Vil10 aww keeping my fingers crossed for you, I should be O today so will be joining the TWW tomorrow ☺️ I haven’t seen breaking bad thinking I might look into it as need a new series binge.

My friend has been having unsuccessful IVF for 2 years so when I told her about my pregnancy (I felt bad doing so but didn't want her to find out from anyone else), I just dropped a text with no photo. @Joanna1009 there's a lot of ppl in our area doing the same with their kids taking them out of school early in case if Covid for Xmas bubbles cos it's a really hard one for you, and I'm pleased you & OH had a good convo (he's totally punching btw & let's hope we don't actually mean after the Stella too, you want another child not a man child) but least convos are starting to get better? @Minster2012 local theatre is doing a virtual interactive panto, so it’s not like a dvd, and luckily had agree to a late, in the new year performance for the school so they don’t miss out, the school is going to do Xmas again in January when they come back, this isolation timing is so wrong....

On ds, I have to admit he is pretty cool, autism only makes him cooler, we adapted a lot and I’ll personally rip the heart out of anyone that makes him feel a weirdo, but doesn’t everybody do that?

@InkyPaper that’s terrible, can you bringing it up to anybody else? The a+e consultant started the ball rolling for ds chronic constipation, will also send a note to the gp, to ensure a follow up, sometimes you just need the right ear

@SarahTTC2020 that’s all right, she just need a little moment, maybe call her about something else and see if she’ll bring it up, maybe she won’t yet

@Minster2012 and @Vil10 no hint or suggestion about what it could be. She did mention PCOS but that my blood test didn't indicate it even though the clinical symptoms suggested it (I also have acne, struggle to lose weight, and have excess facial hair which is black and obvious and I hate it, need to get it lasered off again when I can afford it). So yeah, she was pretty clear there was nothing the surgery would do until it's been a year and to try and ignore when my period was going to show up or not 🙄

@SarahTTC2020 yeah that's hard, maybe ask about something else totally inane & unrelated try to lighten mood

• reindeer chocolate things with DS made for some ppl who need cheering up I care about, DS enjoyed this at 9am
• very tasty but probs unhealthy lunch for DS made of tortilla folded with cheese in it then in microwave mmmmmm student food Whilst I are the homemade leek & potato soup from yesterday 😂
• other bits & bats done around house whilst he pootled around /tantrum /trashed the house blah blah

Here's a TMI question for you
You know that tampon advert where it says "you shouldn't feel your tampon ladies" I can ALWAYS feel my tampon. Whatever kind I try. Am I odd? Is my foof actually tiny not cavernous?? I can't shove it up further??
