CD7 here, can't believe DTD starts again on Wednesday!

Got an interview today and looooads of work on this week but will hopefully not crash and burn before xmas :)

@Juno231 I’m actually thinking about leaving it until the weekend 🤔 that gives AF a few days to be late before I waste more money on tests 😂.

So today I’ve bled again and I’m meant to be CD12 so maybe my period last fri sat and sun wasn’t the real deal! However I did spot all last week until Fri this week. Had to use a pantyliner but not particularly heavy but was very dark like old blood. Whereas today I’m wearing a pantyliner and it’s fresh blood and all weekend I have been wiping and it’s been fresh blood and more than just a normal spot here and there. I’m hoping it’s just my first proper period now since coming off the pill and it’s my body regulating itself! As otherwise my body is f**d 😂anyone else suffered very short cycles and spotting in between cycles when first coming off the pill?!

@ChinChilly woohoo! Great news on the negative Covid test. I had a similar experience when I had to get tested a few months ago (my sense of taste went funny!). Managed to book an appt for the same day at midday, had my negative result at 7am the next morning! Also, I can totally see your rationalisation for waiting to test but I'm also in awe of your willpower 😂

I'm only 7dpo but feeling really emotional and nauseous this morning and I just want to test! Tomorrow would be the absolute earliest I would want to test but I'm still hoping to hold out till Friday (11dpo) x

@LauraT94 i'm 7DPO too FF says to wait until Sunday to test, but I might test on Sat morning if AF hasn't shown by then. Last cycle I resisted testing at all (AF showed late on 13DPO) and it was no fun haha... so I might test on 12DPO this time

I’ve started getting some cramps today, so I’m guessing AF is going to show herself at some point 🙄

@LauraT94 I’m good thanks 😊 it was my birthday yesterday so took today off too and just been for a nice long walk with the dog. I’m about 5 weeks now, main symptom is still sore boobs, but did feel mildly nauseous most of the day Saturday and have been experiencing breathlessness too. Did another FRER on Saturday and a CB digital and got 2-3 weeks. Hope you’re well? Xx

@MintGreenLife that sounds lovely but we're gonna need a pizza update! OH and I had papa john's yesterday (he begged for it to go with his arsenal game lol) and I thought of you :)

@Juno231 haha ah bless you. You’re both going to be so disappointed @ChinChilly as I didn’t get pizza! In my head maybe all the ‘fake’ stuff in the vegan cheese and gluten free base wouldn’t be great, so I went for a burger instead, but that went terribly wrong as they messed up my order and put cheese on the burger 🤦🏻‍♀️ They wouldn’t sent w replacement either, so OH saved the evening and went and picked me up a gluten and cheese free burger from a really nice place down the road that weren’t delivering. I felt like such a diva 😂 just think now isn’t the time to try experimenting with reintroducing things. The final burger was very good though, but I felt bad for OH as I get very hungry very quickly right now, and then also very grumpy 😅

@MintGreenLife my goodness, I hope you gave the first place a world of trouble for giving you dairy despite requesting none! I will say I think vegan cheese is pretty terrible - it kind of looks and tastes like molten plastic and sticks to your teeth - certainly nothing healthy about it!

I had a vegan lunch today and just drinking a decaf coffee with oat milk so I'm definitely changing some small things! Not doing well on the gluten front though...

@Juno231 the burger I went for wasn’t even meant to have cheese on it at all 😂 which is why I chose it as think it’s more likely that something gets left on when you ask for it to be removed. Just meant OH ate his with a very grumpy and hungry me and then had to go out straight after he had finished to pick me up something I could actually eat, bless him.

Oh well done for getting started! Maybe it’s more worth trying to it all right away anyway as it is tricky to start with, just find it takes a lot of planning ahead, but once you get used to it it’s fine ☺️

Wtf is my body doing 😂😂 I’m getting cramps like AF is about to appear, but the OPK is so dark, it doesn’t look so bad there but in real life the test line is darker than the control line! I know I should test but I’m determined to wait until AF is late, fed up of wasting money on tests 😂

@ChinChilly I just hope they're not ovulation cramps 😅. Maybe jump on that 🍆 just in case?

If you get the chance tomorrow then DTD! And... if you get the chance tomorrow then buy a Frer...! 😆 its one or the other

@Kay00 im going to give AF a few more days to show her face I think. Cramps are odd then come and go, one minute im convinced AF is going to turn up then the next the cramps disappear 🤔

This morning I returned my blood test for thyroid issues in the post. What a mess it was taking it though!! I has to use all 4 lancets provided and attempted to draw blood from 4 different fingers! And I didn't quite fill it up to the 2nd line . Also, because by blood wasn't coming out in drips it was kind of seeping out, it went everywhere - haha! I hope they can use my sample to test me, but i'm worried they won't. I have very small veins and I always struggle to give blood (which I do regularly).

@Kay00 no AF yet, cramps are still on and off but my RHR went back up today so hoping thats a good sign

@Kay00 thyroid test sounds like it was a right nightmare!

@Kay00 I think I had to do two fingers, but just about managed to get the little bottle full, although it seemed like so much blood to get out of your fingers!! Mine said not to squeeze my fingers to get the blood out, but it just wouldn't come unless I did that :/ are you going to send it back today? xx

Well I'm having an absolute mare ladies. My grandmother has been rushed to hospital yesterday, not looking good at all, so my head is all over the place. And I have absolutely no idea what in God's name my cycle is doing. Expected at least a maintained rise from CD21, but now I don't think I've even ovulated? Any insight greatly appreciated!

@ChinChilly I am willing you on with everything I have, no idea how you have the patience! 😂

And @Kay00 - that sounds like an absolute disaster 😂🙈 Delighted that that's probably going to have to be my next step too! Hope you get results 🤞
