I'm totally losing my mind TTC 😂🙈

Just put in two made up temperatures for the next couple of days to see when FF would give me crosshairs. How does this process make you so insane!

Hello all, I posted on the previous edition of this thread but was trying not to obsess over TTC so avoided all the forums for a while. Glad some of you have had some positive news, congratulations!

Anyway everything is still a bit weird for me... this month I had some really nice EWCM for several days finishing on CD21 and followed by some quite bad cramping (I had very similar cramping 2 weeks before my previous light AF at the end of the last cycle). I had a temp rise after this but then found the BBT tracking was giving me insomnia so had to stop (thanks brain)! However I have had the absolute tiniest amount of spotting from CD35 so I'm not sure if it really counts as a period or whether I have actually ovulated. How light can it get?? And has anyone had AF-like cramps for a few days around/after ovulation their first couple of cycles off the pill?

@crabette I definitely did that earlier this month too 😂 and felt similarly crazy! There's just sooooo much waiting with all of this TTC business!

@curcurbita hi! I think you can only count it as a period if it's a flow heavy enough to require a pad or tampon. If it's just spotting when you wipe etc it doesn't count. Have you done a pregnancy test? And regarding the cramps, I cramped for about 4 days around/following ovulation and they felt like mild AF cramps. It's normal I think!

So I've been feeling sullen all day wondering if I might get any implantation symptoms... Zilch 😂 felt a slight pinching pain around my uterus area but I've also been really gasssy (sorry if TMI!) So not sure if it's just that 🤷🏼‍♀️ looking forward to seeing what my temp does tomorrow.

Ok, for some reason I decide to take a OPK this morning, please don’t ask me why 😂😂 anyways this came up straight away! Surely I’m not ovulating or due to ovulate 2 days before AF is due 🤔 normally my OPKs are stark white before and after ovulation! Anybody got any ideas?

@LauraT94 Yep I have done a test and not even a hint of a line (which there really should be as I'd be 17/18 DPO)! Yes I've read that's what most of the tracking apps etc say about counting a period...however back when this group of threads started there was someone on here with spotting only and had a normal progesterone level suggesting she was ovulating, and was reassured by GP that as long as it came at the right time it counted! Nice to know you get that cramping too. Totally understand the craziness around TTC and all the waiting!

@ChinChilly I've seen people get positive OPKs when pregnant.........

@curcurbita oh gosh really? I guess I should test but I’m really trying to hold out until AF is late, I’m stuck indoors until my COVID test comes back anyway and I cancelled my prime literally 2 days ago 😂

@ChinChilly aaah they pick up on hcg too so either you're only ovulating now or you're preggers!

@ChinChilly Get a test! ⭐️ also hope you're feeling ok and the Covid test is negative.
I tested this theory on myself after my BFP and yep, it's true 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 everything crossed for you! Xx

Aw, all good my end thank you, symptoms still very mild but so far so good. I have another private scan Friday to check everything and then my 12 week scan on the 17th Dec 💖 xx

@Flowerbudd ahh how exciting! Good call on the private scans, do you know if your hospital will let OH in to the 12 week scan? We’ve just been put into tier 3 and they wouldn’t let my friends husband in 🙄

@ChinChilly ahh no, sorry to hear that :( it's awful how they can't come to the scan. I feel there should be exceptions but it's such a minefield and a tough one :(
when I booked the scan she said he could, we're going into tier 2 so I hope so. My letter didn't say anything about him not coming so Im hoping they'll let him in on they day xx

@Flowerbudd I know! He had to wait for an hour and half in the car in the carpark 😕😕 good to hear it sounds like they will let your OH in! There definitely should be some exceptions must be awful especially if it’s your first and they can’t come in 😞

@ChinChilly I’m really hoping this is your BFP!!! Keep us updated! Hopefully you also haven’t got covid!

My COVID test has literally just came back negative...impressed with my local drive through testing centre, got an appointment on the day and the results less than 12 hours later!

@chinchilly woop! Congrats on being covid free! No excuses now... get straight to a pharmacy tomorrow and buy a frer 😘

@Moocher90 @Kay00 Thanks both 😊 I’ll get out at some point tomorrow and get one! I feel super nervous though and almost don’t want to test! 😬

@chinchilly omg GIRL get a FRER now!! Well...tomorrow, haha! All signs seem promising but try not to think about it tonight and just get testing tomorrow! Keeping everything crossed for you! Do you have any other symptoms?

@TheHotelCalifornia 😂😂 not really got any other other symptoms, I’ve been quite tired the last few days but I’ve put that down to this lovely cough I’ve got

Argh @ChinChilly I'm so excited for you!! Delighted on your COVID BFN and hoping for your FRER BFP! I had no idea LH was a pregnancy indicator too, love this thread!

@crabette I know, always learning something here 😂 I’ve had a slight dip in my RHR so it could be the start of the drop before AF so I’m going to wait and see if AF turns up on Wednesday before I buy any tests 😬
