@ChinChilly sorry to hear that. Yes a CP certainly sounds pleasurable. If it was, then there is a real positive about getting pregnant. Sorry it hasn't worked out this time. Hopefully this cycle is successful and you can get a BFP New Year's Day!! Xx

@AMS19 I really wish I had tested early so I could be sure but it’s the only way I can explain it! My app thinks I’ve finished my period and I haven’t even started it yet 😂 wish it would just hurry up now so I can move on

@ChinChilly didn't you also have a peak opk quite recently as well? I wonder if you had a late ovulation for no reason this cycle. I'm so sorry about the BFN though - on the bright side you get to drink this Xmas!

@CharWils I've been interviewing every quarter pretty much for the past year as I'm keen to move but want to move for the right role. Got a few offers I turned down, lost out on a couple because they've ended up going for people with 5 years more experience etc but I'll get there eventually. This one on Monday would be a really good opportunity and a 15k uplift but I have a feeling they'll try and go for someone with a few more grey hairs!

BTW OH has done exactly what I predicted - he initiated BD on Sat/Tues/Wed which is unheard of from him - but now that we're in FW he's been too tired the last two nights! So I am CD12, had EWCM yesterday, a high opk reading this morning... I wouldn't be surprised if I ovulate tomorrow and I have no sperm waiting for the egg currently!

Sorry for spamming but forgot to say OHs dad visited yesterday and I was wearing an oversized jumper and he 100% kept checking if maybe it was hiding a bump. He's been asking for grandkids for years and I'm pretty sure he saw som HPTs when he showed up unannounced (when we weren't in!) when we were staying at his London flat in Oct so he's blatantly expecting a Christmas reveal now 😂

@juno231 haha, what a pest! It doesn't help to have the pressure does it? I have an elderly neighbour called Clive who is obsessed with me getting pregnant 😳 he mentions it every time I see him and has said creepy things like 'if you were mine then you'd have had five babies by now!! 🤣 he even took my OH to one side to ask if there were any problems with him performing 😆😆😆 i would be quite offended if he wasn't in his 80s and clearly going senile.

Also... any chance you can DTD now???!!

@moocher90 that's good news, hopefully you get some good answers from the NHS and you can start putting together a plan of action xx

@Juno231 I did have blazing positive on Monday which would of been CD28..who knows I wish I had tested earlier so I knew either way!

@Kay00 OMG that is soooo creepy 😂😂 some old people really don’t understand the boundries! I’m glad nobody apart from one of my friends knows we are TTC so no pressure here, thank goodness

@Kay00 hahaha Clive sounds hilariously creepy! I'll try and convince him of DTD today but am definitely feeling a bit deflated about him just not bothering yet again!

@juno231 I have to admit... even my OH (whose sex drive has always been unmanageable) didn't want to DTD today... maybe this baby making is a big turn off.

Maybe just put on some nice underwear, make some tassels out of random bits you find around the house and jump him 😆 at least it would be good fun and if you can DTD just this once then you won't be annoyed with him for the rest if the month 😉

@ChinChilly aw I’m so sorry. Our bodies really are so annoying. I had convinced myself this month too because I normally have 10 day lp and made it to 12 day but nope!

@Kay00your neighbour 😂 I know I’ve had lots of ‘when will you have kids’ type questions 😒 they don’t know that I’m trying!!!

@Juno231 that is frustrating but hopefully he’ll be in the mood later! Wednesday is still within the 5 days so that might still make you in with a shot.

@ChinChilly Sorry to see your BFN I hope AF shows up quickly so you can get yourself ready for a new cycle - fingers crossed

My thermometers turned up today so time to start tracking BBT and I’ve got OPK sticks too so let’s begin the journey and hope my first AF is right around the corner! (It seems strange hoping to see AF when everyone else is the opposite and hates her right now)

@kay00 senile or not, Clive needs to learn to keep his nose out and stay in his own flipping lane!

@thedaydreambelievers I completely agree. Clive says all sorts of inappropriate things... he once said that he he got me in bed that he'd never let me leave! 🙄😆 my mum is a mental health nurse specialising in dementia and she thinks he probably has some frontal lobe damage which often causes people to say inappropriate things. I honestly don't think he has the mental capacity to understand hes saying the wrong thing, plus he thinks the world of me and would be devastated is he new he'd upset me 🙃 on the other hand... he did one touch my boob 🤣🙄

@robyn101 exciting that you will start charting now... I couldn't wait!!

@kay00 dont want to derail the thread. I agree that Clive may have difficulties leading to his behaviour but also remember you should still maintain your boundaries and that doesnt mean you have to put up with inappropriate behaviour. If Clive does something that makes you uncomfortable, it's still okay to pull him up on it.

Back on topic, I'm still awaiting things regulating. Went from nadda to random bleeding this evening, so clearly all still working itself out.

Thanks @Cams50 & @Robyn101 AF is definitely on her way, I’ve had some fresh blood this afternoon and the cramps are the worst I’ve ever had! This cycle was 33 days so longest to date 😕

@Juno231 thank you! And thank you for all your advice too. I think you're right about implantation at 9dpo! Sorry that your OH is being funny about DTD during your FW. I've got my fingers crossed that he gets his act together soon!

@ChinChilly I'm so sorry about the BFN 🙁 and that we were all urging you to test too! I hope AF cramps calm down soon and AF passes quickly.

I hope you don't mind me lurking in the background for a while longer. Would love to be able to see you lovely ladies get your BFPs. Plus I'm a bit overwhelmed about everything/in shock! So would be nice to stick around on a thread with some familiar 'faces' for now haha x

@LauraT94 yes please stay! If all you BFP people leave there will be no one left on here 😅. How did OH take it BTW? And are you feeling any different?

I managed to get some 🍆 today and my opk hasn't progressed to a peak yet so I'm still in with a shot.

Yes, we were lucky to get another BFP a couple of days ago from @LauraT94 🙌 the plan is to get everyone else over the line by Christmas 💪😊🌲

@Juno231 haha I'll definitely stick around! OH took it really well, he's been desperate to start trying for the past two years. I just wanted to wait until we were married/past the major renovations in our house. Now we're pregnant and neither of those things have happened 😂 he's in shock as well I think!

I've booked in for an early scan at 6+1 on the 22nd December and I think it'll all feel a bit more real then! I just feel really overly aware of my body!! Like I can feel a heaviness where my uterus is, lower back ache when I stand for too long, my boobs are getting sore (especially on the sides and especially when I'm sleeping!) and yeah just feeling nauseous already 😂 also still cramping! But I know it's normal so trying not to worry, though I did wake up in the night and thought AF had come and had a bit of a meltdown/panic.

Thanks @LauraT94 its a rough one today super heavy and painful not sure why but hey ho, can’t control these things! To be honest I was starting to be as certain as everybody else it would be a BFP literally not even 24 hours after the BFN AF arrived and shes here with vengeance this time 🙄 I think I will test early from now on, it doesn’t get your hopes up and it I was having a chemical it’s interesting to know and may need to note how many times its happening.

My OH brought my FRERs that finally came from amazon this morning and I was like ‘yeahhhhh I won’t be needing those’ 😂 his face dropped bless him, he knew AF was late so he was probably hoping too 😂

I’m not sure whether to track or not this month, I’m not sure if I just enjoy Christmas and start with the crazy POAS in January, maybe it can be my news years resolution 😂

@ChinChilly do what’s right for you hun xx if you feel like tracking then do if not come back with a fresh outlook after you have celebrated Xmas xx doesn’t stop you trying the next cycle even if you are not monitoring xx

@Moocher90 I say I won’t track but I’ll be POAS. By CD12 😂

What cheap OPKS are everyone using. Going to try my CB ones but want to use them once I know I have some sort of line on a cheapie. I’ve got one step ones at the mo but not sure how good they are
