@MintGreenLife FYI there is no way itll be 2 hours! Mine was 10 mins flat. They schedule in a lot of time in case you have a complex pregnancy history

Well that is as stark white as they come 😂😂 I’ll double check in the morning with FMU but i doubt this far on it will be anything exciting, never mind 😕

@MintGreenLife Ah yes I had the booking appointment last week, agree with @TheDaydreamBelievers mine was half an hour max and that was with me asking lots of questions.

@ChinChilly ahhh, hopefully it's a different result with first urine tomorrow morning!

@Kay00 I will do, can’t see it happening though, I don’t get why AF is late.

I’m a believer in everything happens for a reason but the BFN never gets any easier 😕

@TheDaydreamBelievers I guess I’ll find out the week after next ☺️ To be honest I think it’s all going to be a headache with our imminent house move, but hopefully there’s a system in place or something! Xx

@CharWils Sorry I probably made things confusing by saying midwife appointment! I haven’t spoken to anyone on the phone or anything, just left a voicemail and got a referral letter, so I’m not really sure what’s going on to be honest 😂

@ChinChilly sorry to see it’s a BFN. The only thing I will say is that the cheapies are a lot less sensitive than a FRER would be xx

@MintGreenLife Thanks I’ll see in the morning but there literally isn’t even a whiff of a line and at 16dpo on a 3 hour hold I would of thought there would be even be just a shadow

@ChinChilly well you never know, but probably is better for your own sanity if you assume it’s a BFN for now. So sorry, hope you can snuggle up this evening and have a few treats. Let us know how you get on tomorrow xxx

@ChinChilly sorry to see that you got a BFN! Our bodies are so cruel! I was so convinced my last AF wasn’t real as it was only spotting. Even did a test a week after 😂.

You never know though - my sister in law with her first baby said her AF was 2 weeks late before she got a BFP!

Thanks @MintGreenLife & @Sperr I think I had rather stupidly started to convince myself this month was the one with the spotting at around 8dpo, the high RHR and the late AF! Just makes it abit of a harder pill to swallow I guess 😕

@ChinChilly well I can completely understand why you thought this month might be your month! It’s so hard managing expectations isn’t it. Hope you’re OK xx

@MintGreenLife yes it does feel very much like that, I found it such a relief to actually speak to someone professional about it at the booking appt! Scan date came through really quick after that though so fingers crossed all gets moving for you quickly after then!

@charwils @TheDaydreamBelievers @MintGreenLife my booking apt on Thursday was an hour and a half! They went through so much detail on everything. Booked loads of appointments for the first 3 months, and went through all the different tests etc. Even were discussing where I would give birth!

@ChinChilly I cannot believe it!! I was SO sure it would be a BFP. Definitely not 100% out but can see why you would feel so deflated. Really sorry! Xx

Wow @Ams19! The healthboards are v v variable. I got "do you have x, y, z" (eg diabetes), then "take folic and vitamin D" (bit late at 9.5 weeks but luckily I was anyways), "read the book you get at your scan for the rest", then "you'll get appts in the post". That's it!

@TheDaydreamBelievers that is insane! I didnt even ask any questions, it was all them. I dread to think how long it would have been if I actually asked anything. They are very on the ball, I had my 12 week scan booked in 3 days after my self referral was made, and they do monthly midwife appointments as standard. Plus 3 scans rather than 2 which most places too. But yeah, when they were discussing where I would give birth, how long the drive would be etc it was all quite soon! 😂

Ah my goodness @AMS19 - it's well known my healthboard wont even talk birth planning until 30 weeks. Glad you're getting a good standard of care and wishing you all the best with it x

@ChinChilly Aw Im sorry to see the BFN, you're never out until she arrives though but can see how it's a hard one to take on after all the signs xx

@MintGreenLife @AMS19 my care has been pretty good tbh, i can't complain. My midwife app was face to face and lasted about 50 mins but my midwife was my twins midwife so she recognised me and we just had a good natter 😂 phoned to book my 12 week scan and all booked for the 17th. So far so good with them, and luckily covid hasn't gotten in the way so keeping everything crossed it stays that way. Its funny how every area differs xx

Morning ladies... Another BFN this morning, my RHR has dropped again and some brown discharge, so AF is gonna be any time now!

This cycle has really thrown me a curve ball, my periods are like clockwork and I always get the same PMT symptoms and I’ve had none, with the spotting at 8dpo, high rhr, late AF and the positive OPKs about 5 days ago I’m wondering if I have had a CP but as I didn’t test early I guess I’ll never know!

So spoke to the GP who is sending me for thyroid test and hormonal too. Hopefully can at least get a bit more understanding of it and whether there are any issues.
