Hey girls

It was my 30th birthday on Friday so went away to the Cotswolds for the weekend and logged off. Have a lot to catch up on!
I'm glad I'm not pregnant already as lots of champagne was consumed this weekend in celebration 🤣🍾

I'm on CD13 now and nothing to report. Low OPKs and no EWCM, so hoping ovulation will happen this week and I'll be on for a normal cycle. Temp has dipped a little bit today and yesterday so I think that's a good sign it could be starting to gear up?

@CardioQueen just want to say I'm so sorry about your news. Totally understand why you need to take time out. Would love to hear any updates on your story if you feel up to it later down the line.

And good to know your advice about high temps as I've been worried mine are all generally high

@AMS19 glad you've been discharged! And reassuring to know you had high baseline temps before ovulation too, so do I!

@jessi60 wow I haven't even heard of that illness you had- poor thing! So confusing how it's messed all your tracking up.
Can't believe it's been 6 months and your searches aren't back- hopefully they will extend it. Are you worried about getting in before stamp duty date? Or is it your first house I can't remember?
@Dex1521 exciting about your house! You couldn't buy a postage stamp here for that-it's so unfair! 🙈
We dropped our house price again after our buyers pulled out, but now that it's Xmas we've had no viewings so think we'll be on hold until the new year now. I really hope they extend the stamp duty deadline as it saves us so much money!

Happy Birthday @Emmgrem 😊 Welcome to the 30s club - I've honestly loved being in my 30s! Cotwolds sounds lovely too, especially this time of the year with all the Christmas lights up etc.
Yes, I'm 10 dpo today, cd29. I should be due on Sunday with spotting from Friday. Going from previous months, I'm usually cramping, low energy, mood, eating everything now, but I have no symptoms apart from sore boobs. Not complaining, it's nice 🤣 But it is weird and I'm trying to not let my head get away with me.
Pack of Frer's arrived today with our Tesco order. I might test on Thursday, I'll be 13Dpo by then. As I said, I genuienly have no urge as I don't think I am!
Met a friend for Sunday lunch yesterday and she told me she's 8 weeks pregnant. So so happy for her, and I hope I'm not too far behind her so we can be ladies who lunch together 😄 And it would be amazing to have a friend go through it at the same time.

@Emmgrem in the same boat as you! Except I'm CD15, really hoping I get a surge soon! Eekkk enjoy the celebrations!! I turned 30 in July- so crap we have to celebrate during a pandemic!

I asked my OH what he thought about testing and I was like ahhh we could just forget about it and wait til after - his approach was well you can't drink then, which I was like nahhhhh 🤣🤣 so I've no idea what we will do!

Have to frikkin ovulate first though 🙄

So when I said yesterday I haven't got any urge to test at all? Yeah, that's changed 🙈 Woke up this morning with that urge. Haven't done though, I'm going to try and hold off. Mainly because I don't want to waste a test 🤣 but also that feeling of disappointment. BBT dipped again yesterday but went back up this morning. Attached my chart.

@PowerOfFlowers how many DPO are you? Sorry I can't figure that out! Looks really positive though! My temps and OPKs still low 🙈 really want it to happen soon as I'm going home for Christmas and my OH isn't joining for 5 days! It'll be just my luck that I'll ovulate at home 🙄😅 we've DTD every second day though and the few days before I go I'll make sure to get in as many sessions as possible 🤣
I've now got 3 apps with all different ovulation predictions 🤣🙈 who knows!

Keep testing your opks twice a day, that surge will come out of nowhere. It surged for me cd17 and I was surprised at how quickly it went up but I have 34 day cycles.

Haha which apps have you got? I've been tracking my cycle for a year using Clue, and then Premom for opks and FF because I like how easy it is to read the chart for my bbt!

@Emmgrem hope you had a lovely birthday! I had a temp dip and then my OPK peak the following day so hopefully yours is on its way now!

@PowerOfFlowers that chart looks fab!! Am I right in thinking AF is due in 6 days now? An FRER can detect HCG from 6 days pre period I think 😉. Ah my fingers are so tightly crossed for you lovely!!

In true POAS addict spirit I just need to publicly admit that I've taken at least one pregnancy test every day (sometimes two) so I think I have a problem 😂. I'm now going to make a deliberate attempt just to use the CB weeks tests for progression.

Good Evening everyone, im CD8 but only had a three day AF from 1st to 3rd Dec so im so bored of waiting now lol. OPK went from 0.3 to 0.2 so kinda disappointed for some reason I guess I just expected it to gradually keep going up and up so im sure a bit of up and down is normal?

My temp also went down to 36.27 from 36.44 but can't rely on that yet as its only day 2 of tracking BBT.

My other half is convinced ive already ovulated...think he needs to return to GCSE biology lol he is so naive he thinks DTD unprotected a couple times and bam pregnancy... dont get me started on explaining why I can't do a test 1 hour after DTD

@Bells20 I tested every 2 days with cheapies until I got my 3+ on CB then stopped. I only used 2 CV digitals in the end, one on period due date which gave me a 2-3, and one about 10 days later when I got 3+. I would definitely reccomend stopping at 6 weeks as the tests actually get lighter from hook effect (happened to me!)

@dex1521 mine never got any darker. They stayed very low / pretty much zero, peaked within 24 hours, then zero again!

@DrS44 if you cover DTD as much and as late as possible before you leave even if you do ovulate when away if should still be covered! Sperm live for 5 days!

@AMS19 ya i leave the 18th and he comes the 24th so it's slightly over! We will just have to DTD the morning of the 18th 🤣

My temp this morning has dropped to its lowest so far 35.91, CD16? Does that have any significance? Should it drop before ovulation does anyone know?

Likewise does anyone have a handy link that helps explain the meaning of temps? 😅 not got a clue 😅

Oh and @PowerOfFlowers I have flo, premom, fermometer and I've just downloaded fertility friend... i can't really get my head around the last one though! I think Premom is my favourite but it keeps acting up! I did have Glo too but I deleted that as it was getting out of hand 🤣

@DrS44 I found this link quite helpful as I’m so clueless about it all too as well lol. I’m CD 9 today and had really bad cramps this morning but they seem to have gone away now which I found strange. Other than that I’ve nothing to report just waiting for ovulation

Well I’m CD 33 with no sign of Af and a negative test today so I’m deffo out for this month but no idea what my period is up to 😫 frustrating Xx

Just realise I’ve bought the friggen first response rapid test and not the early one. Apparently the rapid one has a sensitivity of 100 which is crazy high 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ so i guess might be a chance but most likely my period is just late for some other reason X
