CD10 today so cycle buddies (ish) with quite a few of you ☺️
Only came off the pill at the start of this month though so trying not to get too hopeful!

Do you ever wonder whether other people do this when they are 'trying' because I swear other than these forums I've never heard anyone talk about OPKs and BBTs and LPs haha 🤷🏻‍♀️ And yet some say they were surprised they fell first month!

@positivitytree2020 your prenatal will probably have vit B but might be worth taking extra? LPs tend to stay pretty static month on month, so it is very likely if you ovulate later your LP will stay the same so your cycle is just longer!

@GreenApplesYo I'll see. In a way it feels like a waste when I can clearly see the progression. On the other hand I quite like the idea of seeing the 3+! Although the battery is awful on them, my other one only kast about 3 days! Would have ben a good keepsake 🙄

Well I don’t rate the whole dtd when it’s timed to a certain date. Feel like I’ve just pestered partner until I got my own way, frig my life 😂 I mean over the weekend was fine because it had been a while as I was on a run of night shifts 🤣

None of my friends who have been or are pregnant have ever mentioned trying as in trying even on the right dates 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just not on contraception! @Emmgrem x

Hey :) CD17. Planning on testing on 24th. AF due 26th. 1 week to gooooo.

@DrS44 haha no I meant my luteal phase was 8 days last cycle, withdrawal bleed happened 8 days after ovulation. It's early days and I know not a 'proper' cycle so hopefully won't be a long term problem but going to keep an eye on it.

@positivitytree2020 hope yours levels out! Here's to a normal length LP for us both 🥂

@Emmgrem I do wonder that, many of my friends have kids and not once have I heard them talking about this level of planning and preparation!

Got a flashing smiley on CB test this morning which means high fertility! 😊 on CD11! Gonna use the cheapies later and see if there’s any progress on them!

Ladies, help! What the F is going on with my temping/charting?
This morning I entered my temp into Femometer as usual and it's adjusted my info to say that I must have ovulated on CD7 🤔 and that now at CD11 I'm past ovulation and in my luteal phase?? Surely that can't be right, should I just ignore it and stick to Fertility Friend? When would FF confirm the day it thinks you ovulated?

Hello! That would be early. Must be because your temp has gone up so much. Is there anything else that might have made this happen, like not sleeping well, drinking alcohol? Are you going opks? sorry I forget what everyone is doing 🙂 it does look from your chart like you had ewcm which could suggest you did ovulate?

Hi @Emmgrem - that does seem v early - how long are you off the pill now? I also am forgetting who's doing what and stopped when 🙈 what does fertility friend say? Mine told me I'd ovulated the other day but then it reset after my temp fell back into normal range. It went up for 3 days in a row just from disturbed sleep two nights and a few drinks one night.

@GreenApplesYo definitely not drinking much alcohol, the old glass in an evening here and there. Getting 8-9 hours sleep every night. Sometimes I have to get up for a wee but I lie down again for a good few hours before I take the temp. I took it again this morning just incase and it went down from 37.07 to 36.96 with my arms out of the covers 😂 but that's still high I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

I definitely had CM that stretched between two fingers- though when I took a photo in the Premom app I think it was, it judged it as watery. The highest I tested on an OPK was 'low - 0.71' on Premom , which came up at High 68% on Femometer on CD6!

I'm just thinking surely it's my body adjusting as I only came off the pill at the start of the month. But it does say your base BBT should be pretty stable 🤔

@Emmgrem hmmm I think .7 sounds quite high did you test twice that day? And if you had EWCM? Did you BD?

I woke up this morning quite early (because of my puppy 🙄) took my temp and it was lower than yesterday (36.4 from 36,6) so not ideal.. but went back to sleep for 3 hours, felt roasting when I woke up and it had jumped to 36.9? I know I probably shouldn't look too much into it as it's not as reliable as a proper BBT thermometer!

Gonna do another LH test now to make sure it stays down... xx

@positivitytree2020 yayyyyy! Told you it was coming! Yes test again in the afternoon with the ICs to see the difference! Great news, delighted for you! Now get into that bedroom with OH and don't come out til Thursday 🤣🤣

@Emmgrem I would definitely stick to FF. I really dislike Fermometer. Can you share your FF chart and I'll take a look for you? And no your BBT will definitely not be stable off the pill!! Mine was all over the place for the first month

@CardioQueen @GreenApplesYo I wonder should we get into a habit of writing something after our names. Like post withdrawal, CD 8 (is me) OPK 😂 a little disclaimer of who we are.. I think being anon doesn't help remembering although yer names are a little easier! Feel like changing mine so it's an actual word 😂 xx

@DrS44 @AMS19 thank you, I got way too excited when I saw it! 😂 went to BD with DH as soon as I saw it, but he seemed to get stage fright and couldn’t finish (TMI) 😂 TYPICAL! Has this happened to anyone?

@positivitytree2020 ahhh man that's annoying! Try again later. Hasn't happened yet but I'm wary of it! I keep making massive efforts to make it exciting, dressing up, surprising him at random moments, drawing a bath with candles, heels (these are key 😂) but it is only our first month and I'm gonna get fairly sick of that soon! Last night for example it wasn't as seductive 🤣🤣

Dont worry though you have time! I did read a thing that said foreplay (not the saliva type though 😅) was really good for sperm! Top tip gals 💃🏼

@positivitytree2020 I didnt tell my husband in case that happened. So we DTD 7 times in 5 days. On Peak day we DTD twice, and he struggled to finish. Not our of stage fright but he was drained out i think from the other 6 times 😂😂 so I essentially used mt hands and jumped on at the last second 😂😂😂

@DrS44 haha it is definitely tricky to keep track with no faces to go with the names. I feel rude having to ask what cycle day etc people are on all the time... It would definitely be really handy if you signed off your message with your cycle day/dpo haha.

I think it's fairly common for temps to go down for 1 day soon after ovulation and then to go back up again. If you haven't already, google image search bbt fallback rise? lots of examples 🙂but it could just be your temp was lower because you were taking it earlier...

What kind of puppy do you have? Can we have a picture? 🙂🙂

@emmgrem hmmm I wonder if you did ovulate and just didn't see the peak on your OPKs... Will you keep doing the OPKs anyway? Sounds like sleep etc shouldn't have made a difference.

@positivitytree2020 yes mine got the stage fright as well. He did finish, usually he is very attentive, but the time directly after I got the peak reading he basically just put it in and pumped away hahah. If we hadn't conceived, then the next cycle I was going to not tell him exactly which day I got a peak opk. Haha @AMS19 I love your hand job story. So determined 🙂

I'm cd9 today! Woke up and went out for a run. Came back, saw my themometer on the bedside table and remembered I hadn't taken my bbt!! D'oh!! I'm going to put a reminder to go off with my alarm from tomorrow. I mean, the thing is RIGHT next to me and I still forgot!
Feel great otherwise 🤣
