Hi girls ☺️

Got results of my bloods and AMH back and they weren't good - LH too high (so confused as I don't get even the faintest line on an OPK), oestrogen too low, FSH at the very top of the normal parameters...points towards possible ovarian failure. I.e. early menopause. AMH was 8 which is low for my age (33) - puts me in the 25th percentile. If it is early menopause then AMH doesn't really matter anyway as IVF isn't an option.

Waiting to hear back from fertility specialist on Monday as to when I can get an appt. But I don't think this forum is the right place for me so I'm going to wish you all the very best and hope you gets lots of BFPs ♥️♥️

Foxl2222 · 05/12/2020 06:26

AMS19 · 05/12/2020 06:47

Oh @CardioQueen I'm really sorry to hear that. I absolutely understand you need some time to understand the detail and process. I would love it if you could let me/us know how you are getting on now and again? I'm really hoping that everything can be treated and therefore your journey is just beginning. Science is an amazing thing and I'm sure there will be a lot of help they can give you. Not saying it will be easy but please don't give up hope. It is so good you did this now so they can get to work on getting you that baby. Would love to stay in touch when you're ready. I'm sure you will have some amazing and exciting news in the future. I'll be thinking about you xx

@CardioQueen I am so sorry to hear that but at the same time glad you were able to have these tests and get more of an understanding about what was going on! I echo everything @AMS19 said really and I'm wishing you all the very best xx

House update - we are after a house for sale at £128k we offered yesterday £118k chancing our arm and they declined it then this morning we got a phone call from agents asking did we want to increase our offer so we said £120k and they declined asking for at least £122k to cover their fees. We said no and (lied) that we had another house who is accepting £120 and we were gonna go with them. So then 2 mins later agent was back on the phone saying they’ll accept £120k

So excited and nervous too haha being a first time buyers but so glad we’ve bought our first family home too

Bells20 · 05/12/2020 11:48

@Dex1521 that is so exciting!!! Hope it's a smooth process for you! You've gotta be a bit cheeky sometimes and try your luck haven't you!

PowerOfFlowers · 05/12/2020 11:51

Oh @CardioQueen huge hugs to you. This must have been a shock for you. But, on the plus side you now know what's happening and they are going to help you. How weird about your LH being so high but yet opks gave you nothing to go on.
Yes I agree with @AMS19 Please do keep us updated (that is, if you want to and when you are ready)I was thinking of you just yesterday wondering how you were getting on. Hugs xxx

Congrats @Dex1521 - great news for you guys!

Dex1521 · 05/12/2020 12:24

Definitely want to keep in touch with you girls - when I know more and have processed it a bit more I will let you know how things are going. I want to hear how you're all progressing down the line as well ☺️

@CardioQueen Sorry you got this news, it’s really rubbish and so unfair that people have to go through this. Your right to take a step back from things, i think the forum can be quite hard when you see so many success stories (although it is lovely at the same time) you need to do what’s best for you. Sending you all the luck in the world with your fertility journey, you hear about wonderful things happening for people. The first step is finding out what’s wrong and then you can now progress towards some progress 🤞🏼🤍

If you ever feel up to it we would love to hear how you’re getting on and keeping us updated when the time is right.

Sending lots of love to you Xxxx

jessi60 · 05/12/2020 15:10

@Dex1521 Congrats on your news! Very exciting! xx 🥳

DrS44 · 05/12/2020 16:15

@CardioQueen oh god I am so so so sorry to hear this. Feeling for you 💛 totally understandable to take a break from here, thank you for all your support 🌟 wishing you all the best in navigating through this tough time! Xxx

Dex1521 · 05/12/2020 16:42

@CardioQueen sorry missed your message. So sorry to hear this I really feel for you. Totally understand taking a step back from the forum as it can get so overwhelming at times. Have everything crossed for you and wishing you all the best. 🥰xx

PowerOfFlowers · 06/12/2020 10:33

Morning! How are you all? Where are you all in your cycle now?
So... 9/10 dpo over here! Bbt dipped slightly yesterday but today it's shot up again - here's my chart! Haven't tested as I have a 35 day cycle so too early (wow - who am I?!). Haven't been symptom spotting this time either but one weird thing happened yesterday - I was on the sofa, had just finished eating lunch (a chicken salad sandwich if anyone's interested 🤣) I got up and I was so dizzy. I was dizzy for about two hours. A dizziness like you get the day after way too many gins. I was ok last night and I'm ok today. Anyway, its probably not connnected.

@PowerOfFlowers Hey, aw fingers crossed for you this month 🤞🏼Good that your temp has stayed up!

I have no idea what my body is up too. Normally a 28 day cycle but currently on cycle day 31 with no sign of af. So don’t know if this cycle is going to be longer 🤷🏻‍♀️ the app has me down as 10dpo due to the highest opk but don’t know if I actually ovulated as I didn’t have any other symptoms to go along side it.

You never know that dizziness might be something🥰 Xx

AMS19 · 06/12/2020 11:08

@PowerOfFlowers that is a verry strong looking chart!! How long are you going to hold out until testing?

@jessi60 have you tested?

OP posts:
Bells20 · 06/12/2020 11:09

@PowerOfFlowers your chart looks fantastic! Did you chart last month too, are there any differences?

@jessi60 have you tested? AF is late so might be worth doing one and seeing what it says?

jessi60 · 06/12/2020 11:17

@AMS19 @Bells20 I did on CD 27 because I thought if I was pregnant it would show being one day before my period was due and that was with an early test and it was stark white negative so haven’t bothered since 😂

I thought it was more likely that my cycle might be messed up this month because I wasn’t well and it might just be longer than usual. And the second opk peak of that month puts me at 10DPO which would mean my period is due in 4 days with a 34 day cycle 🤷🏻‍♀️

Don’t know what to do really, wait it out or test again 😂 x

AMS19 · 06/12/2020 11:29

@jessi60 might be worth a test tomorrow? I got my BFP on a FRER and 11DPO. I know waiting is good, but I wanted to know as soon as I could!

OP posts:
jessi60 · 06/12/2020 11:31

@AMS19 Yeah I’m convinced every time I go to the loo my period will be here🤣

I think I’ve just convinced myself it isn’t possible because of how poorly I was, probably why I’m so laid back this month! Xx

AMS19 · 06/12/2020 11:38

@jessi60 that doesn't go away! Eveeytime I got to the loo now I'm braced for blood and I'm nearly 8 weeks pregnant! Granted it was made worst from the spotting I had but still, I cant remember a time where I wasn't on constant knicker check!

OP posts:
PowerOfFlowers · 06/12/2020 12:47

Thanks @AMS19 @Bells20 and @jessi60 😀 This is my first month of charting so I have no idea if this is normal for me 😄 It will be interesting to compare it to my next cycle if AF arrives on Saturday.
As for testing - I've just put a Frer into our Tesco order for tomorrow. I'm really going to try and hold off until Wednesday or Thursday though, I might crack sooner but that is my plan. I'm really surprised how chilled I'm being. I also genuienly don't think I am pregnant either - apart from thay dizziness yesterday, I have no symptoms other than sore boobs!

GreenApplesYo · 06/12/2020 16:28

Hey @PowerOfFlowers that chart is looking great! Fingers crossed that's an implantation dip.

So, here is my scan from today. Baby measuring 9wks exactly. Magic getting to see the little bean! All looking fine so that's great. Getting prodded in a full bladder is quite stressful hahah!
