@susiebluebell if I decided to leave what? Nothing is dangerous at the moment, there's no tissue left, just slightly too thick lining, so it's not the same as having a sac or clots still there that could possibly be dying and cause infection.

@Garman Sorry my message wasn't clear at all - I meant if God forbid the misoprostol doesn't do anything and they want you to come in, but you couldn't do that until a couple of weeks later. I'm hoping you are able to sort it out with minimum faff! X

@susiebluebell they said it's fine to wait until January if I have to as there's no immediate risk, it's just not ideal, it should be thinner by now. I think it would stop another pregnancy occurring at all but tbh at the moment I don't care about that because I never want to risk dealing with any of this again and know I'm very lucky to already have 2 healthy dc.

@garman did they give you two doses? My first did nothing, so I took the second dose two days later. It wasn't how I'd read it would happen, nowhere near as heavy and just when I wiped really. It was still v painful but not as much blood as I thought. The scan showed it all had passed though. X

Good to know @flyinghigh101. They just gave me one dose, I had only a few tiny cramps 4 hours after I took them and literally one tiny spot of blood, I was so disappointed!

Can I ask when everyone started trying again after miscarriage? I mentally feel ready, but seem to be having spotting off and on some days (mostly brown, or like dark red/brown) and it seems to be mostly if I go out for a few hours and am walking about a lot. Just wondering if I’m supposed to wait until this has stopped completely or if it was only the days after (I had surgical management) where it was more like real bleeding (which I had minimal of). I really want to as I want to be close to my husband anyway, but I also won’t if there’s a risk of infection. My surgery will have been two weeks ago on Tuesday.

Hey @PumpkinEverything I'm only a week ahead of you from the surgical management and the first few times we DTD we just used condoms when I was spotting just as you described, I think the risk of infection is very low anyway. We're not actively trying this month because my PTs are still faint positives so don't want to track ov as no idea where my cycle is but like you want to be close to DH. When we were waiting for all the rescans etc we daren't even DTD so we're just having fun catching up 🙈

Oh great! That’s really good to know @bez91 and everything has been fine for you? We haven’t done it since I conceived so it’s been a while... it’s now on my mind a lot 😂🙈

Had a 'natural' miscarriage on 12 Dec in my 12th week. Would have been our second.

I have pcos so used/will use clomid

Still feels so very raw...

@PumpkinEverything you can ttc as soon as the bleeding has stopped. We had restarted 2 weeks after miscarriage but I now know that it wasn't considered complete yet so no chance of conceiving with too thick lining.

I’ll be two weeks on Tuesday and I’m not looking forward to testing again as I’m so sure it’s going to be a clear line 🤦‍♀️ Did an OPK today because I’ve been having some ovulation type cramps, but seems too early for them. It was a positive result; but not peak

Hi @Acebobase. I’m so sorry that you find yourself here. I had a MMC on the 13th Dec where I would have been 11 weeks (baby stopped growing at 6 weeks though according to the scan I had on the 12th). It would have also been my second baby.

I’m finding everything so much harder with Xmas round the corner as we had planned to tell our families on Xmas Day.

It truly is rubbish.

Was yours proper bleeding or mostly spotting @TheDaydreamBelievers ? Everytime I think it’s done, it’s not 🤦‍♀️

@PumpkinEverything browny watery bleeding every day for 2 weeks and proper heavy red bleeding on 2 of those days. Then just stopped dead! Time to test again tomorrow as will be 3 weeks after. Week 1 test was as positive as pre-surgery, week 2 was very weak (needed a torchlight to see), let's see what week 3 brings

@bubblybrit same here, we had planned on telling family over Christmas when we'll see them because 12 week scan was supposed to be last week, instead I had my follow up appointment for miscarriage that day. It definitely magnifies the crapness.

@Garman @bubblybrit I feel your pain 😔 my dad lives in England (I’m in NI) and I only see him a few times a year. He was over visiting this weekend and it had worked out perfectly that I was going to finally be able to tell him news in person instead of over the phone, and it was going to be the best type. I’m trying to not let it get to me, but I’m hating other peoples announcements right now because I keep thinking that should have been me.

@Garman and @PumpkinEverything. I think that’s what I’m really struggling with at the minute. I was so full of joy and excitement about what this Christmas would bring and feel like it’s all been taken away. It will just be the three of us rather than having family round and announcing a new arrival 😞

Oh and my boss has postponed a scheduled call as he is away to see his ‘little wriggler’ at a 20 week scan. He was mortified when the words came out but it still stung.

Same faint line at 3 weeks 🙄🙄🙄. Greattt. Also I smell awful, not sure what hormonal nonsense that is (I wash every day so it isnt and hygiene!!!)

Meant to say I feel the same about xmas and my husband is really struggling. This was meant to be our time to get cosy and dream up names and rub the tiniest little bump and now it's nothing.

@TheDaydreamBelievers. That’s exactly how I feel. My DH isn’t really opening up and just going about his day. That also concerns me. I’m painting on a happy face for my DD as she is loving all the lights, tree and presents. Inside though I just want to curl up into a ball until 2021.

I feel exactley the same!! My 12 week scan should have been fri so I should have been telling everyone we had twins on the way!
Instead my period is on its way! Only good thing is thats pretty much exactley 4 weeks since surgical management so at least my bodies doing what I should.
This is also my first xmas without my Dad !
This is all being made much harder for us because of this bloody virus.
