@littleeggcup really good results! Shame about your son's hat 🤣

@Diddy28 any news on your lines?

Saw this post on reddit and it definitely resonated with me 😅. Am 10DPO now but had a BFN this morning. Am anxious to see what my temp looks like tomorrow...

Aozora13 · 18/12/2020 09:31

Oh @littleeggcup that really made me laugh! But great news about your bloods and err morning sickness. Yay!

@Juno231 that meme also made me chuckle. Although I’d have to substitute a large brie or a rare steak - I got long covid in March and one of my only lingering symptoms is that I can’t tolerate alcohol. Tried an experimental gin the other day and went direct to the hangover with none of the fun. Can’t believe the bastard virus has stolen my booze!

I’m on 4dpo twiddling my thumbs and trying not to symptom spot...

Aozora13 · 18/12/2020 09:36

Also @Juno231 don’t be too disheartened- 10dpo is v early still. I saw a link on another thread the other day which had a day-by-day calculator of positive pregnancy tests and think it was only around half of them showing BFP at 10dpo. Will see if I can find it.

mich20208 · 18/12/2020 09:47

What do people think of this? It's dried very very faint so thinking it's just an evap line. Although came up in time frame x

Mamifun · 18/12/2020 09:57

@littleeggcup wooo congrats! results look really good!

@Juno231 hahahahha that meme is pretty accurate! yes, I also think 10dpo is very early! I never got positives so early on.

@Aozora13 ouch, I hope you are feeling better. I always have a glass of wine in the evening, not sure what I would do without it 😅 brie and rare steaks are delicious though, and sushi!

I am also trying not to symptom spot (5dpo for me). 😣 it is so hard the wait

Mamifun · 18/12/2020 10:01

@mich20208 it is a bit blurred so not sure but I would say I can see a very faint line as well. How many dpo are you? I would definitely test again tomorrow morning and see what it says.

mich20208 · 18/12/2020 10:45

Well I think my period should have been due today. About 14dpo that's why I'm thinking the line would definitely be there x

Lille4 · 18/12/2020 17:45

@mich20208 I can a very faint line. Cheapies famously are known for faint lines even after a few days of bfp on FRER.
Mine only got really strong at about 16-17dpo. Fingers crossed for you.

Hope everyone else is doing okay and looking after themselves 🌈🌈

mich20208 · 18/12/2020 22:59

Spotting started. Definitely a false alarm xx

Aozora13 · 19/12/2020 11:44

Oh sorry @mich20208 hope you’re doing ok.

Also for @Juno231 (and anyone else interested) I found the pregnancy test calculator:

www.countdowntopregnancy.com/tools/pregnancy-test-calculator.php

It tells you when to test and the probability of getting a false negative at each dpo - at 10dpo 66% of pregnant woman get a BFP. It has also told me that as I am 5dpo I need to chill the heck out for at least a week and stop imagining symptoms Grin

Slk3558 · 19/12/2020 12:44

Hi girls hope you don’t mind me joining in need your advice . 10 DPO today . Came of mini pill In august been having short leutal phases every month since but this morn started taking vitamin B complex and D and C. Anyways just did a clear blue early detection can you see a line here xx

Slk3558 · 19/12/2020 13:16

this month*

Aozora13 · 20/12/2020 07:59

Hi @Slk3558 I can definitely see a line - congratulations!

Interesting about the vitamins. I have short cycles which include a short luteal phase (ave 22-24 days and ov around day 12/13) so wondering if that’s causing some issues. Did you take a multivitamin or separate ones? I just started taking pregnacare a couple of months ago but doesn’t seem to have affected my cycle.

Slk3558 · 20/12/2020 08:59

@Aozora13 thank you . I just did a FRER today FMU blazing positive x I took vitamin B complex busy b high strength from Holland and Barrett which has 100mg of vitamin B6 and other b vitamins included and vitamin C. I also took a vitamin c and d supplement and a vitamin E supplement. I’d researched about short leutal phase that it’s a clear indicator of estrogen dominance, I had really sore boobs every cycle the the leutal phase which also indicated hormone imbalance. This cycle after taking the supplements no sore boobs And BFP! Aparantly B6 and vitamin C boosts your progesterone and balance it which is what your body needs to sustain a preg. I would highly recommend taking the same as me of course! Xx

Aozora13 · 20/12/2020 09:08

@Slk3558 ooh thanks - I always get sore boobs for up to a week before af and had no idea about the estrogen/progesterone thing. Will give the b vits a whirl! And congratulations again Xmas Smile

Mamifun · 21/12/2020 18:14

@mich20208 I'm sorry, please take care of yourself. xx

@Aozora13 that calculator is really interesting! It is telling me no way on the 24th when I was planning to test! lol

@Slk3558 that looks super positive! Really interesting the vitamins, a friend had something similar. She had been ttc for a while, she started taking some vitamins and then she got pregnant! could be a coincidence but it is really strange. I have just been taking pregnacare and some extra vitamin d as we are at home most of the day

I have sore nipples and I would say that is a good sign but this has happened in the past in my regular cycles for a few days so not sure. Will need to wait!

Aozora13 · 22/12/2020 09:16

@Mamifun how many dpo will you be? You might still be ok on a FRER? Having said that, I’ve read so many stories of chemical pregnancies on here I’ve decided I’m not going to test until af is late - I’m due on Christmas bloody day of course so in the unlikely event I don’t come on I’ll test on Boxing Day. Although it feels like the witch is imminent so not sure I’ll even make it to 23 days this month 😫

Slk3558 · 22/12/2020 10:40

@Mamifun from what I have read, for pregnancy to take place all conditions have to be right, the egg folicle has to be healthy so that the corpus leutum goes onto to produce a decent amount of progesterone which then makes the lining sticky for the egg to implant. If anything is off balance, implantation won’t happen and it’ll just flush out in period. For me, I used to get very sore boobs from ovulation to AF and coincidentally had a short LP for my first 3 cycles after coming off mini pill. When I started taking the Super strength B complex just 30 days ago with 100mg B6 in plus about 750 mg of vitamin C (both of these vitamins help to increase progesterone and balance hormones), I immediately noticed I didn’t get any boob tenderness at ovulation and I then got my bfp 10 DPO. It may be a coincidence, but I believe that it rebalanced my hormones and made more progesterone. This would support why the boobs weren’t sore (as heavy sore boobs sides and front indicate a lot of estrogen vs progesterone, I.e estrogen is dominated when progesterone should be the dominate hormone).

I also had a nice sharp temp increase the day after ovulation this month, previous month it’s been a bit slow climbing initially. I also had higher temps than previous months (again indicates more progesterone).

This is just my own observations but I wanted to share to encourage anyone who suspects they might have a hormone imbalance to take the busy B high strength b complex with vit C. (Holland and barrer). Vit D also good.

Anyways hope that is of some use xx

Mamifun · 22/12/2020 20:06

@Aozora13 I had a positive ovulation test on 13th so I would say I am 9 dpo today. I am aware of chemical pregnancies but I think I need to know what is happening with my body, even if it is a chemical pregnancy. At least I know something is happening as I am a bit scared after this last miscarriage something is not working. I am too impatient as well 😂

@Slk3558 thank you! that makes a lot of sense. I definitely think vitamins are very important. I might start taking vitamin C because I have like a permanent cold and my mum as been telling me to take :) I hope I get your good results! xx

Aozora13 · 22/12/2020 21:52

@Mamifun thats fair enough. I guess you’re at the stage of could get a BFP or could be a false BFN (or the other kind but I won’t say that!) will you test tomorrow? Fingers crossed for a BFP whenever you do! I am bad with uncertainty and terribly impatient - definitely don’t have a good temperament for ttc! At least Christmas is a good distraction for festive symptom spotting when I KNOW that nausea is directly related to the volume of quality street consumed...

Idreamof2more · 23/12/2020 09:49

Hi ladies, quick question. For the first time ever I have noticed that I have had lots of white discharge and today ewcm at 5 dpo. Anyone else get this ever. I only normally get it before ovulation. Trying to read into it just different? Xx

OP posts:
Aozora13 · 23/12/2020 12:07

@Idreamof2more hmm not sure. I’ve never really figured out a pattern w my cm tbh so I can’t advise on specifics. But I think increased cm is a good sign for early pregnancy?

Idreamof2more · 23/12/2020 15:17

Thank you @Aozora13 since then I have had twinges and pain in my left ovary which I’ve never experienced got so sore I had to sit down. Okay now seems to have settled very odd xx

Hi all.
Not posted on here in ages.
Can anyone see a line in this? Am 10dpo. This was with fmu.
Just done a frer 10 mins ago and it was bfn

Christmas BFP’s positive thoughts (let’s support each other)
Mamifun · 23/12/2020 21:39

@Aozora13 thanks for the good wishes! I am testing tomorrow, my nipples are not sore anymore so I don't have all my hopes up.
That's true, this week has gone quickly because of Christmas!

@Idreamof2more I am not sure either but I think any change that you have is good. :)

@Tabbycat92 , I would say I can see a very faint line but I understand blue dye has a lot of evaporate lines. If a frer was negative, I would go for that one to be honest. 10dpo is very very early though!
