Hi ladies, have started this thread for anyone that has not had their bfp this month but is going into their next cycle positively hoping for their Christmas or New Years bfp. Let’s support each other..laugh/cry. No such thing as TMI. Let’s celebrate together! Xxx

Peak opk today so thinking today is the day (although maybe tomorrow) - perfect timing for Xmas BFP I hope 🤞

I’ve been off the pill since September last year and I would say properly trying since April this year but I wasn’t tracking with ovulation sticks until Sept. My apps were almost a week out so we had been trying at the wrong time! As soon as I found out when I actually was ovulating I fell pregnant first time (last month was a chemical) and then just happened to fall again this month, even though I never got a peak ovulation this month!
Are you tracking ovulation ?

@Juno231 sorry I don’t know why I asked if you’re tracking when it’s your peak today! Had you been tracking previously though?

@Bonniecolou haha no worries! That so good you caught as soon as you got the timing right! I went off the pill last Sep too, started trying properly in Jan so am now on cycle 12 with no luck. I used opks Jan-May and added on BBT onwards so know exactly when I ovulate. No lucky though, never had a whiff of a BFP to let me know I even can get a BFP 🙊

Is this dc#1 for you?

Oh sorry to hear that. This will be my first hopefully I honestly thought it wasn’t going to happen for me. Since we have been trying properly in the right fertile week, we DTD everyday in that week. And again this month just incase I missed it lol.

@Juno231 hope you’re getting in plenty of festive fornication ready for your Xmas BFP. It sounds like you’re due a lucky month after trying a while now. Have you spoken to the GP? Is it after a year they say to go?

@Leonberger hope you’re doing ok. I’m always getting weird cramps and twinges but have put that down to old age. I didn’t even realise I was pregnant with DC1 until I had period signs for 2 weeks but no period (had just come off the pill)!

I’ve just commenced stick-peeing for this cycle, thinking I’ll ov maybe Saturday or Monday but let’s wait and see. Should probably commence shagging also but my house is bloody freezing so wondering if I can keep my flannel pjs on...

@Aozora13 thank you! Had a sharp temp rise today so pretty certain yesterday was OD 🤞. I'm on the referral list to the fertility clinic now - all my tests have come back normal though. The appointment isn't until May though so I hope I'll get a BFP in the mean time! What cycle is this for you BTW? Good luck with a frozen FW!

@Juno231 May is bloody ages away! That’s ridiculous!! Hopefully you’ll be well preggo by then.

I’m on cycle 5 I think although first month probably didn’t count as pretty sure I’d already ov’d and didn’t actually try last cycle. So not a very dedicated ttc-er! I really want another DC but I’ve had a lot of health issues this year (long COVID) and work is super stressful at the moment so it’s a bit hit and miss! DH would like another in principle but also thinks I’m a bit mad after everything this year, especially as with previous pregnancies I had morning sickness throughout. But my ageing ovaries are shouting at me (somehow I’ll be 40 in Feb) so here we are!

This month has been the worst of them all. Think it’s because I thought I would 100% be pregnant by Christmas as we started in spring, in fact i was confident I would fall straight away. Obviously I haven’t but each month feels worse than the previous, I’m getting more and more worked up each TWW which is not helping anyone. Not sure what I can do about it though!

@Juno231 May seems such a long wait, hopefully your pregnant before then anyway

Been trying for a little while now. Took a month out in Nov, but back on it this month. Ov in 5 days, so dtd 😉

AF finally arrived for me today CD33.
Hopefully next month is luckier, I will be on cycle 8.

This months fertile week will be Christmas week apparently At least we’ve got a few days off work!

Welcome @Tabbycat92! Hopefully this month will be your lucky month! I’m due to ov either Saturday or Monday so dtd here too even though I’m knackered from work and freezing cold so it’s not really top of my list.

Sorry the witch got you @Leonberger, will your Christmas allow for plenty of festive shagging or will you be in bunk beds in the room next to your MIL or something equally romantic?

Total TMI question but does anyone else have wayward CM? I seem to have different consistency through the day and never sure what counts as sticky, creamy or egg whitey.

Tested this morning, 12 dpo and bfn

AF due today and I just tested just for the sake of it and got a BFP!!! Omg . I’m shaking. Also very scared because I’ve 2 MCs. The last one was in November. I’m so excited but anxious. Omg 😱 don’t know if I can hold off telling my husband because we’ve been through so much already. How we get more bfps in the group 🌈🌈🌈💗💗💗

I had an amusing chat w DH last night when I said I was sorry that it’d come to scheduling sex and he said he actually liked to have a schedule! So entirely unromantic but also v helpful that I don’t have to pretend any more spontaneous seduction!

@Aozora13 yes not out yet, still lots of tears this morning, such an emotional time isn’t it! I’m coming up to the due date for my MMC and am just desperate to be pregnant again by then

@MrsF111 oh god yes that stark white BFN is a kicker. Although my approach has been to go into complete denial and then be totally flabbergasted when AF arrives a day or so later. Probs wouldn’t recommend that either... Sorry for your loss, a MMC is especially cruel. I hope you get your rainbow soon.

@Aozora13 hopefully! Had a chemical last month so waited for a week later than usual for ovulation to happen. I use the femometer app and it tell you to test from 10dpo so I have a stack of their hcg tests ready to go and will test when the app tells me to. I so hope it happens soon because I'm not sure my mental health could take a long ttc slog!

@MamaMoonbeam it’s a lot isn’t it? I’m flagging a bit after 5 months which isn’t even long in the grand scheme of things! How long have you been trying? Sorry about your chemical. Hopefully this will be your month!

@Aozora13 it is. Only cycle 2 but I had serious mental health issues this past year which i have only just got on top of the last 6 months. Just worried that if it takes a while, my head might take a knock.
It's hard isn't it? Plus I worry because I be 38 in 6 months and it won't get easier. 🙄

Had ectopic in September with right tube removed. I can't believe this but don't want to get excited yet!! Haven't even told dp yet!!

@MamaMoonbeam sorry to hear of your struggles, but great that you have been able to get on top of them. Hopefully your ttc journey will be a breeze! I’m 40 in a couple of months and can hear all those “fertility falling off a cliff” remarks ringing in my ears. But everyone is different and we can but try I guess! A close friend of mine needed IVF to conceive her 2 DC in her early 30s whereas another friend conceived her DC naturally at 42.

I did another IC this morning and it was fainter than last nights, so panicked a little! Think I'll worry until I have a scan to see if it's ectopic or not.... I really hope this one sticks and is where it should be!!
