Hi ladies, have started this thread for anyone that has not had their bfp this month but is going into their next cycle positively hoping for their Christmas or New Years bfp. Let’s support each other..laugh/cry. No such thing as TMI. Let’s celebrate together! Xxx

@littleeggcup if I squint a bit... I’m actually blinded by that line! Completely natural to be anxious. Maybe try not to pee on things if it’s going to worry you more - the tests aren’t actually designed to show progression and there are so many factors affecting how dark they are. Do you have a scan booked?

I am going in to epu at 11am today as had lower left pain all night :( they can't scan me as too early and they won't see anything, so they will do bloods xxx

I did another IC this morning and it was fainter than last nights, so panicked a little! Think I'll worry until I have a scan to see if it's ectopic or not.... I really hope this one sticks and is where it should be!!

Period due yesterday, a little bit of spotting in the evening but nothing today, got everything crossed that it stays this way - will test again tomorrow morning, trying and failing to not obsess over it

Hi all! Got what I thought was BFP on Sunday morning, did a test Sunday eve and this morning from the same packet and they are totally negative! Feeling so stressed and confused 😖😫please help!

@Diddy28 that looks like a fairly strong positive so even if you were having a chemical I don't think it's be completely negative.

How many dPO are you?

@ApplePie86 I was 11 DPO yesterday when I did that test! It's an easy @ home early detection one. It's so tough, I've got some early response ones coming from Amazon later so hoping to see 2 lines on them but it's not looking good after 2 negatives 😢

@Diddy28 when I had a very early miscarriage the line was lighter than yours but it stayed light for like 3 weeks. I'd maybe wait until tomorrow morning to test again if I were you but fingers crossed all is well!

@ApplePie86 yeah I was thinking maybe I should wait until tomorrow, it's so hard. Didn't sleep a wink all night as I couldn't stop thinking about it. I wondered if it was a chemical but if so then it doesn't make sense to change so soon in the same day. I really hope I don't have a dodgy batch of tests. It's only early days in our ttc journey but still tough!! Xx

@Diddy28 it’s still v early days and I don’t think those tests are super-sensitive. So hopefully it just needs a few more days of hcg doubling.

I’ve been riding an OPK rollercoaster - last month was my first month using them, and from CD9 they gradually got darker until a strong-but-not-blazing positive on CD12. This month I had the faintest of faint squinters on CD10 & 11 then an absolute dye stealer yesterday (CD12). Fortunately we’d decided just to dtd every other day in fertile week anyway so it was more of a guide than a rule. So hopefully should be covered for this month, and hopefully it’ll be a good egg (and meet a good sperm!)

AF arrived onto cycle 3 for me

Is this line progression? Or is it the same as yesterday? I was 14dpo yesterday. 15dpo today.

Had a scan this morning as had spotting with left side pain last night.

Scan obviously didn't show anything as I'm only 4wk 1day. My hcg yesterday was 130. In tomorrow to see if it's doubled 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 longest wait ever I just pray it isn't another ectopic.

I don't have lot of experience with OPK but ai think the window with the surge that the tests detect can be very short and it is easy to miss it. You probably ovulated but didn't pick up the window on time.
I think dtd every other day is good enough to be honest. We do the same! :)

@littleeggcup I see the second is stronger as the control line is fading and I think that happens when the positive line is very strong. Let us know your blood results! :)

sorry, forgot to update myself! I am 2dpo so still very early days. I bled the day after ovulation day (yesterday) and usually when I bleed midcycle it means good news, my last three pregnancies has been like this. I am not sure why this happens 🤔 I am not getting my hopes up though, will wait probably until the 24th to test if I can!

I should also say I’m not super scientific about it so often will have drunk loads of water or will forget and take the test at a random time so that probably doesn’t help! My periods are v regular so that makes it easy to just dtd every other day through fertile week and hope that I’m covered! Good signs about your post-ov bleed - fingers crossed for you! I’m also trying to decide whether to test on 24th or wait til period is due (26/27th) - my stupid short cycles mean that af comes 11ish dpo anyway and w DC2 I didn’t get a BFP til first day of missed period. But also I’m wildly impatient!! Not good for ttc...

@littleeggcup that’s definite line progression - I’d say the second one is a bone fide dye stealer! Can’t remember if I’ve said this already but I had a queried ectopic w DC1 due to agonising cramps. Got scanned at 5 weeks but they couldn’t see anything then went back the longest week of my life later and all was fine. Good luck!

@Aozora13 ahh thank you for that! My pains have started to slow down now and barely there so hoping that's a good thing. I go in for my second bloods at 12.30 today. So I will know later today if they have doubled 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I had to throw up in my sons paper hat he made at school this morning 😂😂 he was very kind about it though hahaha so bad.

Totally gone off food so trying to eat little and often.
