Hi ladies, have started this thread for anyone that has not had their bfp this month but is going into their next cycle positively hoping for their Christmas or New Years bfp. Let’s support each other..laugh/cry. No such thing as TMI. Let’s celebrate together! Xxx

Congratulations @Bonniecolou that’s definitely a BFP! I know they’re worrying but I think cramps are actually pretty common in the first few weeks while everything is settling down and bedding in.

I am yet again being crazy!!

Last month I decided to note down symptoms day by day post ov. I always get sore boobs the first day after I ov.... I'm 3dpo and no painy boobs so that means I'm pregnant right?!

Thank you everyone! I took a digital weeks estimator which says 1-2 weeks which doesn’t really add up to when we DTD so hoping it’s all fine. Just such a worrier after last month.

@Bonniecolou those weeks are from conception remember, so add on however many weeks between period and ovulation.

@NamechangeTTC @Bonniecolou that stumped me too the first time I used a CB digital!

@littleeggcup oh yes defo a symptom . We decided to pause ttc this month as I was too stressed w other things, but was good to have a “control” cycle where I logged my symptoms anyway so hopefully I’ll have a benchmark for when we’re back on it next week. And definitely won’t be symptom spotting like crazy

I’m CD29 and hoping AF hurries up. I’ve had cramp for a few days now but last month had the same until CD34

@Leonberger when are you planning on testing? Or just holding out for AF?

@Aozora13 I probably will if I pass CD32 as that’s about normal for me although I’ve gone to CD34 more than once.

I don’t feel pregnant at all. I felt obviously pregnant with my chemical but I don’t have any symptoms this month other than normal AF is coming so I am not really holding out much hope.

Have you tested yet?

@Leonberger that sounds fair. I had that last cycle when I didn’t feel remotely preggo but of course my period was 2 days late so tempted me into testing then showed up immediately after my BFN. The witch. Hopefully that won’t happen to you!!

I’m on CD3 - skipped last month as was too stressed at work I couldn’t deal with stressing over the tww also. AF due on Boxing Day! Haven’t decided whether to test before Xmas and get over any BFNs or just wait and distract myself with Xmas things

Went to pick up my new car (well new to me rather than actually new!!) and it has a baby on board sign in the back. Hoping that’s a good omen!

Thank you. I had very early symptoms last month with my chemical to the point I was sick from the smell of coffee which I usually love! This month nothing, I was 100% sure I wasn’t especially as I had tested negative on CD31 which was the day before AF - then strangely decided to test again even though I had cramps. Fingers crossed for you.

@DOB78 yup, BFN unfortunately how about you?

I’ve been having cramps the last couple of days so I’m assuming that’s AF on her way 🙄 To be fair I don’t feel pregnant, it’s just my nipples are v sensitive and my sense of smell seems a bit stronger but I could just be imagining that!

BFN today AF due tmora. I was so positive it really felt like something was going on down there.....I did have covid on OV day and we only BD'd once on that day so very slim chance.
If AF arrives tmora I'm opening the wine x

Negative tests this morning at 13-14dpo. Feeling utterly heartbroken. Next stop, private fertility treatment and possibly IVF.

AF reared her ugly head yesterday, a day early for me. So onto cycle 3 I go. I wasn’t surprised as I really didn’t feel pregnant (not that I know how you’re supposed to feel really as never been pregnant)

This month I’m going to start actually tracking my ovulation as for the last 2 months I’ve just used the Flo app, which is probably inaccurate in terms of my ovulation and also, I may not even be ovulating for all I know. Also going to BBT to cover all bases.

@YouBoggleMyMind sorry to hear that, how long have you been trying? Do you know there’s definitely an issue? I’m currently waiting on an Endometriosis diagnosis but we’re going to pay to go private for the initial consultation as NHS can’t even see me for that til April. My symptoms are quite severe so I’ve always been worried I won’t be able to conceive (or at least without having my endo removed) I really hope you get your BFP soon!

@SweetShopSurprise yes I have PCOS and don't ovulate.
Second time I've gone through this as it took almost 3 years and 10 rounds of clomid to conceive my DS.

This time clomid didn't work so they've given me letrozole which has worked but as I've done so many rounds of clomid previously, they're only letting me do a limited amount of ovulation induction cycles. I've just done my last one. No baby and it's been almost 2 years.

Maybe it isn't meant to be. I'm so scared of the next steps and the financial implications as there's no financial support beyond OI for secondary infertility despite the fact that it took fertility treatment to conceive the first time.

I’m CD31. Got the usual cramping and aching pre af that lasts for days. Not sure why I can’t just get my period like normal and be done with it
Tested yesterday and BFN although I said I wouldn’t. I usually come on by CD34 so if nothing I’ll test again. I don’t feel pregnant at all though. Last month with the chemical my boobs were killing but nothing this month. With my DS I was vomiting by the time I had found out

Big unmumsnetty & covid-inappropriate hugs, hot water bottles and a giant slab of chocolate to everyone visited by AF. CD1 sucks!!

@SweetShopSurprise I started using OPKs last month and discovered Clue was 2-3 days out - I have short cycles which translates for me to shortish follicular and luteal phases with ov in the middle.

@YouBoggleMyMind sounds like it’s been quite a journey. I’m sorry to hear of your struggles. Be kind to yourself.

@Leonberger sorry for the BFN. Hope it turns positive! Or at least AF shows up soon so you can move on. So much waiting with ttc, I do not have the patience for it!

I’ve noticed since TTC I have had lots of cramps and symptoms every month. It’s driving me mad! Previously it’s been nothing and then suddenly period
Maybe it’s because I’m looking for it though!
