@Birchybirch that's interesting - I noticed this cycle that I've had less ewcd too and I also have just started taking the 7 seas. Also, if anything, they actually made me ovulate earlier. I haven't made the connection here before but maaaaaybe there is something here??

@Oilyoilyoilgob wow your husband is amazing! My hubby can do 6 days in a row but that’s pretty much his limit! And he says he feels sore after the 6 days!

I also get those jealousy feels when you hear people miss treating children ect it just seems like how does the universe get away with that?! And some people have like 6 kids lol I just want 1 and it’s not happening, some people are so lucky!

@primrosechill yes I was going to test tomorrow but actually I don't want to. If it's negative I'll actually be a bit devastated. I've gotten really carried away in my head today 😬I might give my period a week to turn up.

How many children do people actually want ideally? Or is that too heartbreaking a question??

@MrsKin90 I've never done a pregnancy test. I came close in my 1st cycle, but I just figure AF will let me know either way.

We've always said we'd only really want one... Unless of course we end up with twins or whatever. I once heard that, as you get older, your body can have a "two for one sale", where it decides to throw out more than one egg in it's hope that it has more of a chance if getting one fertilised, so...that's something...! X

Ah I’m so glad other people get pissed off, irrationally or not! Yes it’s awful but ppl who have loads of kids etc and I’d be more than happy with one. I realise I sound like veruca salt too!

I bought some decaf tea bags to slowly wean myself from the tea addiction, hope they’re not weak and crap. Been worrying so much about lady 2 cat, slipped disc is not good and I’m dreading she might have to be put to sleep. I’d REALLY love to be on a warm island getting massages and drinking a cocktail now 😴🍹 xx

@Birchybirch it makes me feel better that you've never done one 😊 I always bang on about how AF is life's negative pregnancy test. Although a missing one isn't always a positive one 🙄 I like the idea of a buy one get on free sale 😂 We want two, preferably one of each two years apart, but being that life doesn't work that way and this has been a massive *** (fill in as you see fit) I'd be chuffed with twins 😂

I'm so sorry your cat is struggling ☹️ we honestly love our cat so much, so I absolutely understand how much you must be feeling and worrying. Try not to worry before you need to - life is hard enough without preempting the shit it brings!! I hope you both have a lovely evening off of sperminating!

P.S. decaf teabags are awful 😝 but you do get used to them... You'd be better off with fruit tea in my opinion!!

@primrosechill I’m not sure I have any tips to share that aren’t already on this thread. I’m Currently going through- lots of great advice 😅. The month I got pregnant last time, I used clear blue advanced OPKs + temping, for insemination I used a combination of the syringe and soft cup and did the whole lying with legs in the air etc. It worked! 🥰

@primrosechill I only take EP up until ovulation, as it does have negative effects in early pregnancy. So I figured I don’t want anything effecting a pregnancy if I’m still taking it... and taking it for around 2 weeks as I ovulate between 15-18 days for me I get loads of EW CM.

@Oilyoilyoilgob oh I really hope it doesn’t come to that with your precious cat 💔 I love my cat too so can’t imagine. I love decaf tea I made the switch about 3 years ago and I sleep better now! X

@MrsKin90 I’m the same I don’t tend to test either and wait for AF.. it’s to heartbreaking otherwise and if I was pregnant I’d find out sooner or later! I would also love 2 children but I wasn’t expecting it to take this long and with not getting any younger I may only be able to have one (really hope I can get pregnant one day!) x

@Lori23TTC I thought you were talking about seven seas but just realised you’re mentioning “EP” - I think I might have misunderstood what you’re talking about! What does EP stand for?

@MrsKin90 we always said two kids but I don’t necessarily think I need to birth both. I would love to have the experience of being pregnant - as a woman I’m just so curious about what my body can do - but I would also consider adoption for one/both if it’s not meant to be 🥰

Hi everyone and thanks for kind words regarding my cat. Her sister is doing great after her op, you’d never know she has a rare cancer then you read it’s rare for cars to slip a disc-the gods out there must’ve known they’d have a good nurse in me for them 💪🏻 It’s a massive worry, I just really love them, verging on obsession 😻

Ha @MrsKin90 I always call it sperminated, I accidentally said it during our therapy session on Saturday and our therapist gently suggested calling it something with a nicer turn of phrase 😂 I haven’t tried the decaf so I have a 50/50 chance of hating it like you or living it like @Lori23TTC hehe!

I’m so hoping another of us gets a bfp, god knows we are all trying our best.
The only supplement I’m taking is pre conception pregnacare, first proper month on them do not sure if it’ll affect me. Nice to know I’m getting my vitamins in and it says you can finish the pack during pregnancy xx

@oilyoilyoilgob my husband normally announces he's going for a shower, so I tend to do my best Puss in Boots impression, and say "jizz in a cup!?" I think we'll do a couple more days, then he can have a rest 😂

Hope both your cats recover quickly! I'm definitely more of a cat person, but the husband came with a dog. Took a lot of adjusting for both myself and the dog, but we got there! X

I have been utterly confused by my cycle this month which is super annoying. My cb showed a static smiley about 5 days ago but my cheapies showed nothing until 2 days ago. My temp still hasn't gone up either so I have no idea what's going on :( we did try twice so fingers crossed. I also used the softcup and it was so easy to use!! Much easier than the fertilily that I was using! So thank you for the tip.

@bigsweetpotato hello I hope you’re well? You can get a double ovulation spike so could that be possible? I mentioned up thread I haven’t used my digital cb, I stick to strips.

Maybe you had a double spike? Hopefully you're covered for whichever day it is/was 🤞🏻🍀💝

@bigsweetpotato hmm I'd always go by your temperature over an OPK. These digital CB things seem to be causing a lot of trouble for everyone! Are you carrying on with the cheapies until they peak?

I've been doing all sorts of googling 😂 they should charge for it and then I'd never use it (or I'd rack up a lot of debt....).
I actually wonder if I've got some sort of illness and that's why my temperature is still high and my RHR is going up. I don't know if that would also delay my period but maybe.

@primrosechill sorry EP is Evening Primrose tablets. I’ve not tried the 7 seas but I might try them next month if not.

@MrsKin90 oh bless you it’s so hard when your body doesn’t make sense, I hope you get a BFP soon! I got annoyed when my body ovulated early and we missed it as I missed a month.. I feel after this long it should make sense but it still doesn’t! Xx

I just attempted to do my usual workout and absolutely COLLAPSED, am completely shattered today - being a few days DPO I have of course decided to view this extreme tiredness as a sure symptom of my soon-to-materialise pregnancy 🤣 honestly someone please freaking save me from myself.

@Lori23TTC isn't it a joke that no matter how much we know our bodies they still prove we don't bloody know them at all??

I'm sure I'm actually out but I'm indulging in my "symptoms" anyway. The main reason I can't give up hope is that I've been sleeping excellently for the last week - all night until 5am which is unheard of for me. Usually I have a week of awful nights that only goes the day AF starts. 🤷 No more testing for me though. Ever.

I’m in the Navy and my nickname is Moo, (feel like every person with a name beginning with ‘M’ gets this nickname.

This is the first month trying where my OH has been home at the same time for the whole fertile window, he’s also in the Navy and staying in the same location is awkward for ttc. We’ve got 3 more months together before he’s away for 4/5 months. So keeping everything crossed for BFP but trying to keep in mind it could take a year or more.

How does everyone cope with the TWW especially in lock down x
