Hi ladies so an update from me (god all I'm doing is giving updates you must be sick of it haha).

there is still some retained tissues so the Dr's felt the right plan of action is to try more medication (which I've already had) to see if we can give my body a helping hand. We'll see how this goes and of these meds don't quite do the job, I can have another (higher) dose in about a week and then if my body still hasn't responded as we'd have hoped them we'll go down the surgery routine.

The Dr and nurse were really reassuring and said that this slow progress does happen sometimes and as long as I don't have any signs of infection (I don't) and I'm well I myself (I am) they're happy to keep on this course of treatment. We'll take it 1 step at a time... But at least I know the next steps and I know what to expect going forward, and somewhere in the next stages, over the next week or so there will be a resolution and it will be over.

I think not knowing what the next steps are and not knowing what might come next makes it harder to deal with but knowing we've got a plan and what the different stages are helps. I'm feeling more reassured after speaking with the team (who have been incredible to be fair, really impress with the level of care & support I've received) so I should be able to sleep better tonight 😴

Right, I'm going to put some pork shoulders in the oven for tea tonight (maybe with a bbq marinade??) and then I'll catch up with the thread properly. Hope you're all doing okay 💕💕💕

@Sausage1990 so glad to hear from you. Glad they looked after you and you have a plan of action. Like you say take each day as it comes. Rest and look after yourself. Our bodies seem to know what they are doing but just need a little kick every now and then. They seem to think it’s on its way, when I had my second scan before I lost placenta (final bit) they seemEd to know it was so close to coming out so they must be happy it’s coming. Anyway pork shoulder and bbq marinate sounds delicious so enjoy. Sending you lots of love. Take care of yourself over the next week or so x

@BeeKeeping looks like your peak is the one today, probably just a long rise, I reckon DTD today and you'll be alright, I'm sure they'll start getting lighter over the next few days.

@Sausage1990 it's still awful but I'm glad you feel a bit reassured. Hopefully it will be over soon and you can both move forward from it. Hugs x

@Katao I'm waiting for our referral too. Chased up the other day and I know which hospital it is at least, no idea on dates yet. Takes a long time on the nhs doesn't it. We're likely to go private soon, we'll wait another month or so.

Boy boss have been all week trying to make bestie boy to eat a cake, homemade with cream, that had been in the fridge for 3 weeks and out of the fridge since Tuesday, well, today in the last 15 minutes he did it, disappointed in both of them and told them so, bestie boy thinks it cannot be that bad, boy boss is pissed off as he doesn't understand why he was told off, bestie boy is a big boy, crossed that I told him neither of them seem to be, hope this makes sense

@Minster2012 and sadly succeeded in the end, homemade cream, 3 weeks on the fridge, 3 days out, he is going to be so ill, he ate half of a big cake, think birthday party size, not just a little

@notyetamumbuttrying I sort of have it in my head that it could be after Christmas so not thinking too much about it. Of course hoping i won't need it by the time it comes around 🤞 my cycles seem to be getting a bit better, not crazy short at least.

@Katao laid back TTC last month ended in a 20 day cycle 🙃 pretty screwed up and have no idea if I ovulated as I didn't track. Thanks for asking! At CD 6 of my next cycle now. Might do the OPKs this cycle just to see if I am ovulating as that last cycle was bizarrely short. How about you?

Currently sat in my pjs watching a film on netflix (Rebecca) with dogs curled up around me, I've put up some monsters, see pics. I've got some more Halloween bits to do but Plans for the weekend I'm running a willow weaving course tomorrow in our village hall (I'm gonna try make a dog, wish me luck & you'll see pics tomorrow night it will prob look like a fish)
