@Missgoldilocks I am 23, I currently weigh 11.4ish although my scales said 11.8 this morning but I look and feel no different so no idea😂 and I'm like 5'4". My fitness pal you can chose like whether you're active or not and I said lightly and with those values that's what it came up with to lose a pound a week, been doing it for like 5-6 weeks if not longer. Yeah I always count saices and don't really use oil

@Minster2012 @Juno231 @Missgoldilocks i also really do not like HIIT although I really need to do some core exercises. I thought I needed to lose loads of weight but now I'm more thinking I should tone. The lightest I've been lately is 10.8 ish. Before I had my DS I was 8.8 stone 😬 but I was 16 then and I keep thinking about how I need to get thag small again but then remind myself I am now 7 years older and I have bigger boobs and a bigger ass 😂

@lucyrp just a thought. Are you eating enough calories a day? Might sound counter intuitive, but if you want to lose weight you need to eat at least the minimum amount of calories you burn to provide to keep you alive. It's something called your basal metabolic rate. I also used my fitness pal to track what I ate when I was dieting and it worked out for me based on my activity for the day what each day's calorie deficit should be. Xx

It varies so much person to person though doesn't it? I know ive done my calorie calculation before and i need just over 1650 to maintain because I'm quite petite. I did calorie counting before and lost 9lbs in a month on 1200 a day. @lucyrp being older definitely makes a difference i think wven your bone density changes!

@Kirky658 i only burn about 500-700 a day according to my Apple Watch 🤷🏼‍♀️fitness pal didn't work anything out for me I had to do it on a separate website because i didn't know what I was supposed to do

@Katao that's what mine is. Mines 1700 for something then 1500 to maintain and 1250/1300 to lose 1 pound a week. That's what I'm doing and not lost anything.

@lucyrp that sounds really low tbh! I'm 5"2, 9 stone 9 and my BMR is 1590 calories a day. There are some websites that can give you an idea of how to do it. Think I had a fitbit back when I was losing weight and it worked it all out for me. On Garmin now!

Saying that weight loss is a minefield. What works for one person, doesn't for another!

Had a bit of a cry earlier over the most ridiculous thing. New Tesco 'food love stories' advert, not sure if anyone has seen it? A woman in it says she's cooking a special meal as she's got some big news and then announces to her DH that she's 'eating for 2 now!' set me right off, can't deal with seeing any nice pregnancy stories etc on facebook either. 😭

@Kirky658 yeah sometimes it's even less than 500, I thought my watch wasn't measuring it correctly but I've had a brand new watch and it's still the same. My OH is a builder and burns loads a day and I don't do such an active job but I'm on my feet all day and still don't manage to close the active rings on my watch. It normally says I haven't even done the 30 minutes of exercise so I have to go for a walk to close that. Whenever me and my OH go for the exact same walk he always does more minutes exercise than me by like 3 times as much and the same for calories and he weighs less than me but is the same height. So confusing. I need to like see someone who can tell me what I need to do 😂

Had some cramping yesterday and day before, stupidly did a test today think I'm 8dpo but another forum thought maybe 7dpo with my temp chart it indicated ovulation on Monday past. Had creamy cm and today some milky substance from nipple very strange. I'm sure I see a line but could be an indent as affa early

Hi ladies, sorry I've been quiet, been reading but not commenting. Talking of weight, I just looked at the nhs bmi calculator ready for if we have to do ivf and it has to be under 29. I'm 29.3 😬 need to lose 9lbs to not be at risk of type 2 diabetes and need to lose 2 stone to not be classed as overweight. I kinda knew I had that much to lose as have basically put that on in a year and a half so it nots really a shock, but definitely a kick I need!

Your target should be 1600 calories a day with a lightly active life style and I used a proper calorie calculator (my fitness pal is good to track but don't listen to what they give you for calories a day) and your target should be 100 grams of protein a day. If you aren't losing weight on 1300 calories you can't be tracking everything properly, or you need to up the exercise if you've plateaud. Try doing 2 days a week extra in the gym or something like that and see what happens but definitely throughout this week say, track your calories thoroughly. Tracking your calories weekly is a good way to do it so if you eat everything on a Saturday you know you have shit calories left for a few days or whatever 😂

@Minster2012 sorry to say I am also not a HIIT fan haha you have more will power than me. And sorry to hear about your holiday but unfortunately feel that the way it is I doubt Nottingham will be out of Tier 3 anytime soon.

@Ladybird345 keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything works out. Hoping it’s like others have said with early pregnancy.

@notyetamumbuttrying same except my bmi is 35 😅😂 but they never calculate for people who have a lot of muscle. I was still classed as high bmi obese at my smallest I'm. Just not made for this system lol

I can't go to the gym ag the moment as we're in lockdown so just been walking and I need to start doing some core at home but don't know what to do. Need to start running again too but that'll take me a while 🤣

@Juno231 my 14year old son has Aspergers, they're certainly unique but I wouldn't have him any other way, he's hilarious at times as has no filter but that can also be very embarrassing aswel🤣

@Ladybird345 you're not feeling sorry for yourself my lovely, it's a complete emotional rollercoaster & complete head fuck. Time will tell.

My best friend has just done a test & sent it to me, she's pregnant, her 2nd month trying. I'm over the moon for her but still think why can't it be me!! I'd love to do this journey with her. We should be pregnant together!! I'm so angry at my body for losing mine last month!! Arghhhh!

@lucyrp I agree with @Missgoldilocks that you're probably not logging your calories correctly. Otherwise you'd be defying the laws of thermodynamics!

i literally track Everutning and sometimes I over exaggerate the calories just to be safe if I'm unsure 🤷🏼‍♀️ is there something I'm missing ? I even type in the specific brand of vegetables 🤣

@Katao not really, I hardly ever eat breakfast and I never really have dinner and then at tea il cook something with vegetables. I didn't think I was trying to eat less I was just trying to eat less calorific values
